Ward & Company is a boutique certified public accounting firm with an emphasis in tax preparation, planning and consulting. We were founded in 1974 and are located near downtown Seattle in the Belltown neighborhood. We provide outstanding service to clients because of our dedication to the three underlying principles of professionalism, responsiveness and quality.
Lynn is a Certified Public Accountant in Washington and holds a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. In 1984, she joined Ward & Company, the firm her father founded in 1977. She began managing the firm in the mid-1990s and in 2011 Lynn completed her father's retirement plan by buying out his interest.
Teri Higby is a Certified Public Accountant in Washington. She has specialized in the tax arena for over 35 years, with over a decade with the big-four. After a short beginning at the IRS she joined Arthur Andersen in Los Angeles and has been in public accounting ever since. She moved from Andersen to Coopers & Lybrand (Los Angeles and then Chicago) to act as a key player in their newly revamped Services to Executives Abroad worldwide team.
Matt comes from South Everett originally and grew up in the shadow of the Boeing complex. He has lived in Seattle since attending the University of Washington, where he received a B.A. in Business Administration (with an Accounting Concentration) and his Masters of Professional Accounting Degree in Taxation.
