Client was facing a short-term liquidity crisis. We analyzed their financials to uncover root causes and provided an action plan to immediately correct the systemic issues and manage their way out of the liquidity crisis. Client's books were not delivered in a timely matter by their previous bookkeeper.
In a cash flow statement, the cash position at the end of the month represents the amount of cash that the company has on hand, at that moment in time. This cash position is a sign of financial strength and liquidity of the company, representing the ability of the company to meet their current liabilities.

Well, I'd love to be able to provide a more personal review - but the online screening process they have to set up an interview rejected me. After answering their questions I was told I wasn't a "fit" for them. Given the fact that I was looking for some pretty complicated S-Corp tax and transition issues (which I expected to pay for), the only reason I could have been rejected was (i) I didn't list enough income, or (ii) the computer automatically rejected it as too complex (?) Hmmmh, not feeling warm and fuzzy about the whole "relationship" vibe they promote

My 2019 income tax return was filed this year by the professional experts at Nth Degree CPAs. My first-year experience with Nth Degree could not have been any better. Good group of smart people. We did not sign with them. Here are the things that bothered us.
1. They want $7800 for a consult aka road map to become their client. We negotiated them down to $6800. It was not worth it. The document oversold savings significantly and while it was done well we felt was cookie cutter. We consider this a $6800 loss for simply considering them.
2. They wanted $3300 per month or 39k quoted to us for many things we would have to do on our own. We felt the way they justified the high cost was exaggerated and hypothetical. To enter a contract over hypothetical

They are the third (and final) CPA firm for our company. They should have been our second and final firm, but another firm oversold and underdelivered. These guys undersold and overdelivered. Only recommendation I have is to oversell and overdeliver because they can pull it off. They brought back tens of thousands of dollars into our company. In the past getting an email from our CPA was like getting an email from the IRS' little brother. More work, more money, little return. I found these guys on Yelp. I gave them a call and was passed along to Dan. I was starting up a business and confused about which forms and what type of business I should declare. He helped me out over the phone and made everything a lot more clear.
About two months later, after I had everything set up, I gave him another call to ask about filling Washington city and state tax returns. He advised me how to do so (most of my business is out of state) and told me how to write off my deductions over the phone. In February I will be going back to Dan to help me file my 1040. Jayson left the company and he was the one handling my taxes. Well no one told me and in March I finally e-mailed Dan to find out why I hadn't heard anything yet. Keep in mind I sent all my paperwork in January. Well Dan explained the situation and apologized for the delay. My tax forms were filed within a week.
I'm giving them four stars because it was a mistake and they fixed it quickly. They should have given me a discount but I'm letting that one go. I'll see how they do this year and update my review accordingly. I plan on turning in my paperwork early again, and hope

Everyone here was really helpful and friendly. I haven't actually used them but got an estimate from them on some tax work I had. Like I said Dan was extremely friendly and seemed like he would be a pleasure to work with.
My only issue was the pricing they had. They said they meet with their clients twice a year but their prices for a tax return was 4 times as high as any other accountant I had talked to (I talked to a lot getting estimates). I will say that Dan did offer to do my ammended return for free to get my business but even with that it was too expensive to take on.

Not your typical CPA. They go above and beyond. Their approach is to look at the entire business, not just taxes. Their background is vast and the breadth of the services they can provide is astonishing.
