Consistently delicious. Go to staple for our Chinese food needs. Literally amazing every time. Large portions, well cooked and seasoned, tender meats, perfectly fried rice... Just all around yummy chinese. Go here if you're craving some good stuff@!!!

Hands down this is the best Chinese Food spot in South Sacramento! They're lunch specials are very reasonable and as far as taste and quality you can tell that they've been cooking for a while. I also gave this place a 5 star review because one day they messed up on my order so I had to take it back. They told me to keep the order and also gave me the plate that I ordered. If you want real authentic Chinese food this is the place. I wish they had a location is north Sacramento.

Friendly staff, good food. Small shop that makes everything on order super fast! I've had the dry fried ribs, salt and pepper fish, chow mein, and the salt and pepper wings (when they have it in stock).

Overall a good experience, they do get busy and seem understaffed and strained so sometimes wait times are long but it's totally worth it

Been coming here for years but really miss the old owners, Jenny n fam!!! The food has not been the same, some dishes have changed...even with the same name !? The hospitality is definitely not the same. The food for our Chinese palates is not satisfactory, unfortunately.

I see why so many people was standing by waiting lol for the wait it was worth it. Food was fresh and hot and Denise was so nice and professional definitely coming back again. They mentioned that their prices will go up starting next month.

Ate here last week for the first time everything was good. i went back yesterday and got the same thing just switched one thing out. i woke up at midnight with food poisoning throwing it all up. it was good but i wont be back.

When you change Recipes or Cooks it also Changes the Flavors and Over All Quality of Each Dish. The Old Owners New That, thats why they did Everything themselves! It's very DisHeartening because this was One of My Most Favorite Places to Eat! The Salt N Pepper Chicken never was this color and it's missing the Jalapeno and green onions and the Krispy Golden color it Always Sold itself on! I Loved Eating the Fried Jalapenos! I Hope this Review Reaches someone that can bring Back the Quality that Sunrise Chinese use to Be.

The fried rice was so good. That's all I've tried so far.. the pork is not fatty and seems like good quality, that makes a big difference.

My favorite Chinese place hands down never disappoints. Have this at least 1x a month if not more. Food is great tasting, great quality, staff is super nice and great selection. Even better if you walk up to order they have pictures of their items. Must try

Huge servings, they literally had to use a rubber band to keep the lid on my togo box closed. I love this place. They have the best salt and pepper fried chicken around. Always friendly and quick service. I highly recommend this place for lunch

Hands down me and my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. Their salt and pepper calamari and fish are amazing. Our favorites also include their generals chicken, chicken chow mein, fried ribs, and rice. There hasn't been anything that we didnt like. Large portions and always fresh!

4 stars. A lot of options for $10 or under. I only tried the soup and both were good.

4 stars Wonton soup. Broth was good. Veggies, and pork were good. Wontons average. Overall for the price you can't complain.

3.5 stars Egg Flower soup. Broth was good. Pretty much a good deal for the price. Everything was well made.

I have not eaten here in years. On Monday, my daughter went there and placed 2 orders. My other was the steamed veggies with pork fried rice. Delicious, not only delicious but they pack it in. They give you enough for 3 people to eat. Today I ordered the salt pepper chicken lunch special, DUDE!!!!! The chown mein was to die for, the chicken was well cooked and you can actually enjoy the chicken. I was eating batter. The onions, spices, nicely blended, not overwhelming. Sunrise my new spot. Wonder if the owners are from San Fran cause the taste is not from Sacramento

If you aren't familiar with this area you might not be familiar with this hidden gem. I know this little strip mall don't look like much, if you're hungry and been here then I bet you've been to the McDonalds and Taco bell. Sunrise always gets over looked like a sundown on a rainy day.

This place is golden, it might not look like much but this place is always busy even tho theres hardly ever anyone eating here. Every one that comes here knows that if you come here its always better to order ahead of time. Call in your order people!

While there are stirfry options here, what seems to be the most popular is: fried. Oh, so many delicious fried options. Fried takeout. When we got here only 30 minutes after they opened, the place was packed from butt to gut with mostly everyone ordering for takeout. It was non-stop chaos during our visit. Jenny Lu and her husband have been operating this business for the last 12-years. While Jenny is very amiable, she's also a hard worker. It's a true family establishment with a table in the corner reserved (the table with their stuff) for when her kids come in to help learn how to run
