We were finally able to pop by the Stockpot for brunch, and we were not disappointed!

The restaurant itself is well decorated and we loved overall aesthetic. There are two floors of seating-- the bottom floor features an open-like kitchen, bar, and booths that overlook the bustling sidewalk and street. Up a flight of stairs is a few more small tables with a bigger table in the middle for larger parties.

We were directed to seat ourselves and settled in upstairs. I love the variety of drinks they offer, and opted for a Lavender Earl Grey iced coffee-- love! My husband got the Lavender Hibiscus

You can taste the creativity, dedication, love and comfort in each dish. The Stockpot is not like any other place in Virginia. Once you’ve been blessed by the locally sourced, made to order menu and hands on management, you will never want to leave.
Knowing that whether you visit the Virginia Beach Oceanfront or Downtown Norfolk locations, you will receive the same high quality food and service is also a huge bonus when you live in one location and work in the other… you can get your fix either way! This place will be your new local favorite!

I have never been disappointed by this place. The food is healthy but comforting at the same time. Surprising, even their chocolate chip cookies are light and snappy, not the chewy buttery stuff we love but dare not eat.

Ordered to go and am quite disappointed in what I got at Stockpot. I got the Butternut soup that was pretty good but it was missing the small rosemary biscuit. I also got a big rosemary biscuit on the side and it was very burnt. Usually I get a nice jam to go with the biscuit but this time it was a half full cup of something that wasn't jam. Unlikely I will come back

This is a cute restaurant tucked away in downtown Norfolk Selden Marker. You can either hunt for street parking or save time via parking garage.

My fiance got the OG fried rice and I got the chifrijo bowl. The chifrijo bowl had salty fried pork was nicely contrasted with lime and avocado on a bed of greens, small mango cubes and cotija cheese . A very nice option for those who prefer lighter meals.

We got a chicken salad to go. Only complaint is that the to-go portion was very small, lowering the review to a 4/5. For reference, it was similar to the size of a small chick fil a mac and cheese

Positively pleasant and uncommonly unique in culinary creations, The Stockpot Norfolk won't disappoint an adventurous palate in search of amazing, robust flavor.

Our party enjoyed the OG Fried Rice, chicken soup, and iconic rosemary biscuits - all delectable. In fact, we also purchased the rosemary biscuit kit to go for baking at home, and it proved to be an encore hit.

A variety of cakes and other baked items are available as well, so arrive sooner rather than later as competition for a bar seat or table (upstairs & downstairs) increases as the morning unfolds.

So glad we stumbled upon this place. We loved everything about it; the atmosphere, the food and the service. The food was fresh and filling. Loved the coconut crush and berry smoothies! They were so light and delicious! I wish I lived closer as I would definitely become a regular.

The plume Street breakfast is phenomenal. Friendly service. Super easy to eat a keto friendly diet here if you want. That is becoming increasingly difficult to find at some places. I plan on coming here quite a bit now.

I'm mad at myself for not trying this place sooner. It's extremely cute inside. The menu has something for everyone. I had the Pork Carnitas Toast and it was absolutely delicious. The carnitas was so tender and combo of an egg, pico de Gallo, aioli and some kind of fancy house toast was perfect. It was just the right amount for a filling lunch. I want to go back ASAP and try the other things on the menu.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon the restaurant as we were going to Selden Market. It's been one of the restaurants we were considering going to so we decided to check it out. We did have to wait what was originally 40 minutes took an hour, but were hoping it would be worth the wait.

Overall, the food was great. It's def fusion food and it's unique. We tried the fried rice, chicken biscuit soup, and a sandwich. The food tasted good, slightly overly salty - but overall pretty good.

Amazing food, great customer service and good prices. Really enjoy all of their fresh-baked stuff, both snacks/baked goods, but also their hot meals as well. Everything is unique/well-crafted, and tastes delicious. Great to-go process/pickup is easy as well.

For our last stop before heading back to DC, we decided to stop by a healthy brunch/lunch place and found this gem on the Norfolk side of town. I was pleased by the options and thought that overall, the food could use perhaps a hair more flavor. But then again, it's impossible to do everything and I'm glad that the town has a solid clean fresh food option.

Food (4) - The Zucchini Noodle Salad (4) is exactly what it advertises and I was glad that it wasn't overpowering with a strong feta flavor. The chicken noodle soup (3.5) is great, no doubt, but nothing that couldn't be

What a nice surprise.

When looking up brunch spots near Waterside, I was intrigued with The Stockpot because I assumed it was some sort of Asian fusion restaurant. This 'assessment' was based on the first two or three photos that I saw on Yelp. While I did not receive my Asian-fusion brunch, I was pleasantly surprised with the "regular" standard brunch items. Since St. Paddy's Day was right around the corner during our visit, we kicked things off with a St. Paddy's inspired mimosa flight. Since I'm more of an add one drop of OJ to a flute of champagne, the

It's restaurant week in Norfolk! Decided to have a mommy daughter date for brunch. Food was spectacular! Service was okay. Ordered the Omusoba which is a vegetable yakisoba stir fry noodle omelette. Highly recommend you try this! Ask for hot sauce too!

My daughter and I came here for brunch on a weekday early afternoon. I'm already a huge fan of the Norfolk area especially Selden Market so I was just happy to be able to come here on a weekday when it isn't so busy.
For some reason, it was windy and chilly that day, so when we went in, both the warmth and smell captured us!
It wasn't busy at all, we chose to sit upstairs and had the whole level to ourselves. Our server came and introduced herself, and since it was our first time gave us the specials and some recommendations.
I ordered a hot tea and the salmon bowl. The salmon

Pretty much the only thing open down there in the seldom market that will let you dine in. It was A- ok for me. I decided to go with the egg scramble and it was just ok, nothing special.

The eggs were a bit runny, and the fresca I added on wasn't really cooked in. I felt like the chef just added it in the middle of the egg instead of cook it together like a scramble The pear cinnamon mimosa was also just ok. I felt like there wasn't much champagne in it , it was just mostly sweet pear juice.

The sugar waffle was an experience. I have never had one before, and it was good. It was very sweet and had chunks of sugar. My body doesn't like sweets, so thankfully I had my guy with me to help haha! Good but too sweet for me, but so happy I tried it!

I had the Vibe Sandwhich. It was good! VERY filling ! I was so stuffed.

My boyfriend got the pork carnitas toast! It was huge :0
He really really liked it!

Altogether this place is nice atmosphere, and has good food!
