I don’t know about you, but I love me a big, light and fluffy pancake. That’s exactly what Pocahontas Pancake House serves! Delicious sweet maple syrup with a balance of fresh, rich fruit made my morning! Will definitely be back.

Excellent food. Uniquely decorated for the theme as well as nice decor for Christmas 🎄 which was cool. The menu is quite large and all looks very reasonably priced. Definitely one of my top places for great food now on the oceanfront!

The food was worth the wait! I hadn't been in a long time, but I'm glad I went again. My dietary needs have changed so it was cool to have a non-pork option for meat. I also tried the gluten-free pecan pancakes. I didn't need the whipped cream, but when in Rome lol. I really enjoyed the egg white omelet. I also appreciate having good service from checkin in with the hostess until paying my bill. I'll be back (probably in off season)!!!

Pocahontas Pancakes is one of the restaurants on my bucket list. I've heard good things about this restaurant, especially their pancakes and waffles. Ambiance: The restaurant reminds me of a diner. The place was packed, yet the wait was not too long. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. They were generous with the chocolate chips in the beautifully designed waffle. Both tasted amazing. Our server was great too. We will return.

Belgian waffle was a hit with our 5 year old. The French toast was delicious. The pancakes were amazing! They also have multi grain pancakes available and sugar free syrup. Service was good, fast and friendly.

With this being one of the most popular breakfast spots in VB amongst tourists and locals alike, it was nice to finally visit.

There's metered parking available, as well as a lot behind the restaurant, so for eating down at the Oceanfront, parking wasn't a big deal.

The place was slam packed by 9 am but being a party of 2, we were sat very quickly. Our server, Jacob was outstandingly quick, welcoming, polite, and professional. He took our order for 2 breakfast burritos and asked if we needed anything else.

Not bad but not the best. The quality isn't great but it's one of the only spots on the beach that look decent and has good reviews. My boyfriend did not like his food at all.

Had such a pleasant first time! Service is a huge deal when it comes to restaurant experiences and Brande definitely took phenomenal care of our party of 4, despite how busy the place got! She deserves a raise for her attentiveness and warm, bubbly personality for always checking in on us! :)

I ordered a breakfast sampler with pancakes and French toast with Nutella and strawberries on top. It also includes eggs, bacon and sausage. I replaced it with turkey bacon and sausage. All delicious! Will definitely come back when I am visiting again!

This place is great! Almost didn't go because of the line, but everyone we talked to in line said it was worth it. Helpful tip: If there's just two of you the wait is shorter (about 30min around 9:30am). It's crowded but the people are friendly (many said they've been coming back all week). The fiesta omelette is amazing and all the positive reviews about the price and pancakes are accurate.They actually had cinnamon raisin toast!! Can't wait to come back!

One drawback in the midst of the covid19 pandemic: This restaurant did not follow CDC's social distancing rule as it was overcrowded.

We went for breakfast here during tourist season and naturally it was super busy. Fortunately for us, we got there right before it got overly crowded and were seated immediately. My husband I split a platter that came with all the meats and pancakes and our daughter got an order of blueberry pancakes and Turkey sausage. Everything was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised. Moreover, our service was exceptional! Our waitress kept our coffees hot and she had a lot of tables that she was working, but you'd never know based on how efficient she was. This little spot was advertised in the local visitors guide, touting that it was rated "best breakfast" by Food Network. Of course I had to look it up, only to find that it was rated as such......in 1992. Well, almost 30 years later.....and from my experience, it's still TRUE! Yup, they're still riding the train and the train is on time!

This has been a regular stop for my husband and I since moving to the area two years ago! Whenever we have company in town we bring them here for a fun, tourist-y brunch.

The menu is very diverse and everything we've tried has been delicious. The chocolate chip pancakes are my favorite. It's a stack of three huge pancakes with lots of warm, melty chocolate chips nestled on top plus plenty scattered throughout the pancakes. I also love to get a side of home fries, which are perfectly crispy and have the best flavor.

For my birthday, friends and I came to Virginia Beach for a quick weekend trip. Across the street from the Oceanaire is this beautiful jewel called the Pocohontas Pancakes.

I ordered the french toast sampler - french toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns (see picture). Yum!

The food was great, staff very friendly (from the host to the manager), and the ambiance was very homey.

They did a great job with adhering to COVID safety. Staff wore masks and they spaced out the patrons.

Thing to note: They do not sell alcohol. Mimosas are not on the menu. Lol. But dont let this deter you from
