Just returned from a 5000 mile trip cross country and back with my 1991 Honda Accord which I have had serviced and repaired by Durango Premier Auto/Durango Small Car since the day I bought it in 1999. It now has over 300,000 miles on it and still runs great. I credit this shop and its great staff for the long life of my Honda.

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***
These people are incompetent at best and fraudsters at worst. Held the vehicle hostage for half the day despite not being able to replicate the problem. Were prepared to charge an exorbitant amount for a part that turned out to be FREE and covered under manufacturer recall which a simple search available to anyone would've revealed. Still charged for doing absolutely nothing other than vague "research". Then gave an ultimatum of either pay to get your car out (with no work done) or never come back. They obviously take advantage of people who don't know any better. Stay

Immediately upon entering and being greeted by Don, I felt as though my vehicle was going to be taken care of. Not only was his shop and waiting area CLEAN, it was organized. I know that may not seem important, but the small details of organization and cleanliness mean that this mechanic would be detailed and meticulous in fixing my issue with my car. He communicated so well with us; asked questions about why we brought our vehicle in; called with the diagnosis in a timely manner; gave us the information we needed upon pickup of the vehicle. I had been bringing my '85 Vanagon here for a couple of years with relatively good experiences, although I never had to have anything major done, mainly simple routine maintenance. Recently I had been experiencing transmission issues and had taken the van in to get looked at. I spoke to Jim over the phone and in person explaining to him that the little research I had done led me to believe it could be a linkage issue rather than in the transmission. Jim Borst, service manager, was both thoughtful and responsive in explaining the work and following through with me. "Good value" is always a pointless question when it comes to these exceptional, but costly-to-maintain, vehicles.

I went to get my oil changed in my Cooper and asked if the could check it out make sure nothing major was wrong (run diagnostics).
After 3.5hrs told me one thing that I didn’t know and it was going to be an additional 400 to run more test! Didn’t tell me I was burning oil or oil pressure problems. I went to Farmington next 2 days and had to add a quart of oil. I have no leaks! Lost about 1/4 of power couldn’t go over 70mph first time since I had it in 3 months. I live in Aztec work in Durango so I make the drive every day.

I had my vehicle towed over 100 miles to this auto repair shop. And I am glad I did. My vehicle came in to their shop on a Friday afternoon and I needed it to be fixed asap so I could get back on the road and be at work on Monday. And they got me right in and I was able to get on the road again the same day. They also went the extra mile and checked for other safety issues as the same time. Highly recommend.
