All the advertisements I've heard on the radio are true! Dan, the owner, helped me set up an appointment however he diagnosed my car over the phone! This is not a man who just wants to take your money. As it turns out I didn't need to keep my appointment with him because of our phone conversation. But I will definitely go there want to have a real issue.

Everyone at Automax goes out of their way to make sure our vehicles are safe to drive. Not being car a car person, I think it's nice that they explain what is going on and what they need to do, if anything. They could lie to me and say I need new brakes; however, they DON'T do that. They are honest and tell me approximately how much longer I have until they need to be replaced. I love the fact that Dan and the guys are "down to Earth" and don't make me feel intimidated when I go there. Definitely give Automax a try. You won't be sorry.

Oh no! My 2008 Toyota was making a grinding/scraping noise...sometimes. Since we moved to Prescott just this January, we didn't personally know any auto repair shops. Yelp to the rescue and I couldn't be happier with the service at AutoMax! Dan certainly lived up to his reputation as honest and sincere. He diagnosed a bad caliper on one side and explained what/why and that I didn't need the other side for many more miles. How honest! He could have sold me both

I had a great first experience so I decided to bring my car back for a second time to get an oil change. During that appointment I called to check on my car because it had been about 5 hours since I heard from them and I was told it would take an hour to get the oil changed. The owner (Dan) answered and asked if I had heard a clunking sound on the left front side of the car, I told him we were looking to get it fixed. He then cut me off in the middle of my sentence and said "Oh so I just change your oil? Great." I started to say "Well I was actually going to ask how much you'd charge for the job

I was having rough idle issues with my 1999 Ford V-10. After taking it to another mechanic, a diagnostic identified an issue, however, it disappeared after the truck warmed. Auto Max was recommended to me by a customer. Dan and his technicians ran a diagnostic and replaced a faulty ignition coil. The repair was done on time, and well within my anticipated costs. I won't hesitate to take my vehicles to Auto Max and will enthusiastically recommend them to my friends.

I have a 93 Lincoln. It was "too old" for some shops. The problems were intermittent and elusive but Dan worked on it for several days, made two trip to U-Pick It for parts and fixed the car, They did not charge me for all the time trying to figure it or the trip for parts.
I think they are great, definitely my "go to" shop from now on.
