This place called me 50 times pressuring me to do something I didn’t want to do. When I wanted to talk to a legitimate lawyer, with ACTUAL credentials, they never called me back. Just forwarded me on to different retention agents, if they are even real? They were just pressuring, vague, and ignorant. Avoid!

Julie is not only professional she is compassionate. She fights for your rights. She is always available and answers questions that may seem simple for an attorney to understand, however not so simple for a person who does not understand the complexities of bankruptcy law. Very unprofessional. Told him my situation and Justin Kirk (may have spelled it wrong) said “why don’t you ask who you are working with”. I restated that I don’t understand my lender and got cut off by Kirk saying “$2,500, you want bits and pieces of it that’s how much it cost” went on to more “metaphors of his work” and I asked for his name and said bye. Called another real state attorney in Santa Ana. $200 for review of the 2 papers, professional, fast, and effective. It’s that simple.

VERY, VERY Happy with Oak Tree Law! They solved an issue on a predatory second mortgage that was causing many sleepless nights. I typically don't write reviews, as I like to consider myself more of an independent thinker, taking the time to give due diligence to researching every aspect and detail when it comes to choosing, or making a decision on a service and, or person. Especially Larry - very unprofessional, made me and pushed me to settle my case without asking for any $$ from the other side !!! Then he sends me a $11K bill for legal work. He never mentioned it until AFTER I settled... if you want the best for yourself and your case, don't go to OakTree Law - I'm speaking from experience with these horrible people.

What I appreciated most about Mark Hoffman, was him telling me upfront what would work best for me personally. He was on the phone with me for as long as I needed him, and made sure I understood some of the more complicated things, and he did not rush to end the call as he was giving me legal advise, he told me that my case would cost more. He followed up with me a few days later, after I texted him with another question, Mark was quick to respond in answering any questions I still have, and to this day I still feel very comfortable in reaching out to him. I hired OakTree law to handle my IRS matters, Justin was nice in the consultation he told me to file for each year and he'll take care of the rest! Justin introduces Me to Jericca who never answer my calls or follow through!! My court date comes up and I'm waiting and waiting... until I heard everyone's case, the judge finally call my case I stood and the judge ask where's your attorney? I said your honor I don't know, his reply was you can represent yourself so I did, after all I heard all the cases I knew what to say the judge discharged everything I'm thinking

Hello. I would like to inform you I called recently to see what would fit best in my situation, I spoke with Justin Kirk and I'm sorry to say he was very rude and insensitive to my questions about a debt settlement. An inheritance I would be receiving soon from my father who recently passed, which I never thought I would be receiving and to better invest that money then to pay all in debt full but into a debt settlement. I needed advise on what would be best but Justin pretty much made me feel Horrible. I was able to find another attorney at a different firm and what a difference it was speaking

When you see a company that has so many 5 star reviews you tend to think they do a great job with Reputation Management. Everyone can't give a 5 star glowing review and have it be true. I am giving my 5 star review to Mark Hoffman because he answers the phone, answers his emails and spent 3 hours with us yesterday getting us from A to Z on a real estate issue we are working on. This was the worst experience with an attorney I've ever had. The attorney's name is Justin Kirk. Horrible customer service. He got really upset because I asked him not to keep repeating the same question he had already asked me three times which I had already answered three times. At that point he asked me to leave his office. Never in my life have I ever asked to leave anywhere but. I see it as a sign. Best to be safe than Sorry. Specially with legal issues and personal information... He has a very thin skin and gets aggressive very quick and not in your best interest. So glad l walked

This review is long over due but I have to let everyone know my experience at Oak tree law. We went to oak tree law after hearing them advertise on 99.5 had a consultation with Marissa. Oaktree told us to be proactive and keep in contact with our bank so we did. Oaktree law tells us we need to bk to keep our house so we did. Oaktree law did not finish paper work for bk because they forgot to file something. Found this out January 2014. We filed bk in August of 2013.
