After refining, AMP's menu became focused and became even more committed to delivering the highest quality product possible with generous portions and great service. The Pub has a full wine and liquor menu but no true pub would be complete without some quality beer. They deliver 40+ beers in draft and bottle; from the budget conscious to the more expensive micro-brews to hopefully exceed the expectations of their customers.
Both graduated culinary school in 1982 in Banja Luka, Bosnia. With their daughters they came to Mobile due to bad circumstances. Originally from Bosnia they fled to Germany during the '80s conflict. Germany did not allow them to stay, and the family had nowhere to go. The United States allowed the refugees to immigrate to America, and Catholic Social Services brought them to Mobile in 1997.
Yak the Kathmandu Kitchen serve delicious culturally rich authentic foods from Himalayan region which includes Nepali, Indian, Tibetan, and Bhutanese dishes at great ambiance with warm hospitality. Our food is cooked in traditional Nepali style with Nepali masala, which is mixture of many spices and herbs from the Himalayan mountains - at Yak The Kathmandu Kitchen.
