Tortilla Rica

We stayed at the Red Lion Hotel and went to this restaurant. Was absolutely delicious. The sangria was wonderful. The beer so cold it hurt your teeth. The only way to drink beer. The food and service was the best. Our server was charming Thank you.

We had an awful dining experience tonight. I ordered the fish tacos, Mexican rice and corn. My husband ordered the steak fajitas. We also ordered guacamole for an appetizer. The waitress did not write anything down. We never received the guacamole. The rice was literally COLD! Another waitress went to move my corn and dumped one piece onto the table. My husband's fajitas were supposed to come with guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream. He got none of these things, nor cheese or lettuce. So his fajitas consisted of some okay meat, and barely sautéed green peppers and onions. For our drink refill

The place is nice but the food first is NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD.We order a chiken Quesadillas wich first they did it wirh flour tortillas yellow cheese and there was not chicken on the quesadilla.😂Then I order a fajitas the meat was tasteless the beans tasty so nasty and the rice bland.The whole meals were the size of a kid meal and it wasn't even busy for the time they took to give us our meals and the prices were ridiculous for what you get food with no flavor and kids size meals.If you looking for authentic Mexican food there is more around the areas.

It was awful. I paid 20.00 for a steak fajita and it had no flavor at all. I told the waitress and she gave me a 1.50 off. Not happy at all

This food was absolutely DISGUSTING. There is no flavor at all. We ordered two orders of three steak tacos and the tortillas weren’t fully cooked. How do we know? When a tortilla isn’t cooked it breaks. And not to mention all of the meals were cold. We Also ordered a burrito and to be completely honest I’m still looking for the meat that was supposed to be in it. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Stayed at the adjacent hotel 2 weeks ago and decided to try this place out for dinner after a long day at Disney. Honestly didn’t really have high expectations but let me tell you, the steak tacos where amazing, chips and salsa was excellent and the burrito my wife tried was really good. Was pleasantly surprised and really exceeded our expectations . Worth a stop in for sure

We had a pleasant experience last weekend at Tortilla Rica. Our server, Janell, was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. My favorite part was the outdoor seating with live music! We had a great time and plan to go back for sure!

Great service! Loved the spicy Margarita! Homemade chips and salsa were amazing! The taco appetizers were so much more interesting than what you usually get. Came back the next night for the enchiladas. Great!!

I thought and give this place a try again, I have enjoyed the food in the past. But today was very different. I stopped in today for breakfast and doors were locked, and the server lets you in. Once I was let in, I was told it was $9.99 a person plus a beverage. There is no more breakfast menu.

After reading tons of positive reviews, we decided to give Tortilla Rica a try...but, sadly, our experience wasn't nearly as favorable as others have had. First, there were only a few tables with patrons when we arrived, but there were many, many dirty tables. The hostess said it would be at least 15 minutes before she could clean a table for us. Since we weren't in a rush and the reviews were favorable, we decided to wait it out.

We walked in and it was kind of like seat yourself without really knowing about it until one of the employees approached us. So they ask us where we want to sit and waited over 10 minutes for somebody to greet us at the table and offer us drinks and menus. The good was just okay, seasoning wasn't what I expected for a Mexican restaurant. I tried it out but I don't see myself going back.

This place has a great happy hour between 5 and 7, which we discovered serendipitously. Because the restaurant is connected to the hotel we are staying in, and the water park had to shut down temporarily due to lightning. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The service was great and the price didn't break the bank in a resort town, which is a rarity. I would suggest coming here to anyone who is debating whether or not they should. I will post a few pictures to show you,why you should come.

Ate here tonight, and it was definitely delicious. My family loved the salsa, it was great. I had to add some hot sauce to it bc I like mine spicy, but it had a great fresh flavor. I had the chicken fajitas, husband had carne asada, and kids had enchiladas. It was all really really good. The beans and rice were a little bland, but I see on here that people have complained of saltiness, so I appreciate a business who listens to customers. I came to Tortilla Rica for the second time to introduce my mom to their delicious "carne asada" dish I tried a few weeks ago during a Yelp event. I was super excited to order the juicy steak and have a nice lunch. To my surprise, the piece of steak I've got was a lot thicker and had more fat than the first time I had it. I honestly liked the steak better the first time I came, thus I'm not sure I'll come back. The service was still good.

My first Yelp Elite event of the year and I'm so glad I was able to get in. Greet me with a delicious drink I'm all in and let me tell ya that watermelon margarita was DELICIOUS!! The weather was perfect while we sat outside enjoying chips and salsa with live entertainment.

This place is really cute and I would take the drive to come back more often. Started out with apps (chicken flautas, chicken empanadas, and cheese quesadillas). The server was amazing she took care of our every need. I ordered the Carne Asada Steak that steak was amazing...I was able to cut it with a BUTTER

Before I get started discussing about the quality of the food here I must say the service is quite admirable. In particular, Alberto whom was our waiter was very attentive and sociable. Definitely made us feel welcomed! This establishment has great potential as the owners have such a deep story that is admirable.

Now, let's get started about the food. Presentation wise it looked great. Portions are more than generous and the quality of the food is great! However, the seasoning for the steak and chicken was very salty, which is a shame since you know the quality of the ingredients is palatable

This place is attached to our hotel, decided to try them out. Glad we did, did not disappoint! We arrived just as Happy Hour was starting, we were seated right away and chips & salsa were brought out. The chips were nice and warm, the salsa was very tasty. Ordered the 2 chicken empanadas with a queso dip to start, so good! The Mexican street corn was also very good. For the main I ordered 3 street tacos, beyond delicious! Our waitress was beyond friendly as was the rest of the staff!

Updated to add went again the following day also and ordered off the happy hour specials- everything was wonderful

Dinner was great, recommend the fajitas.
But breakfast is different. First day, I ordered the buffet, not the best buffet, but OK for $9.99. Second day order 3 eggs with toast, served 2 eggs. Third day the waitress got my order correct, but was not allowed to access the till for change, so I had to wait 15 minutes for the manager, not long, but when you are late....Fourth day, didn't order anything, just drink the hotel coffee with the family, but was charged for the buffet breakfast. This is a hidden gem that I hope other people find it so it stays open! From the burritos, to the amazing vegetable fajitas, to the outstanding shrimp tacos, you will not be disappointed. The margaritas were fabulous along with our waiter who did an outstanding job! Only complaint if you'd call it that, is they need some music playing, but no way I'll deduct anything for that. Please please please go check this restaurant out, well worth it!

Decent Mexican food served in a spacious, well lit atmosphere. The top shelf Patron margarita was made perfectly. Salsa was a little on the sweet side. The chicken burrito was tasty but a little smaller than other places. The nachos with steak was tasty but I would have liked to have seen some sliced jalapenos on top. Also all the steak seemed to be on the bottom under the nachos. Overall a good experience.
