You are required to have a state inspection performed on your vehicle if you are planning on registering it in the state of Texas. We can perform this state inspection and provide you with the needed paper work to register your vehicle. You will need to show proof of insurance at the time of the inspection.
If you are looking to purchase a used car and would like to know what condition the vehicle is in before you invest your money in it. We offer a bumper to bumper inspection. The technician will spend an hour assessing the condition of the vehicle. We will give you written estimate on any repairs or services the vehicle will need and prioritize the repairs for you.
The technical requirements for the HPDE are just common sense checks to make sure your vehicle is in good, safe working order. It is important for you to check out your car before trying to get it inspected. You and the shop only want to do it once per event. Here I will go over the different categories of the technical form with some short explanations.

Extremely happy with Auto Spec! I've gone to them for all maintenance and repairs over four years. Mike and Ray are great at explaining what's wrong, what the options are, and what to be aware of in the future. They seem to genuinely care about keeping my costs low, in both the short term and the long run. They offer an ad-hoc shuttle service and send follow-up text messages to ensure I'm satisfied. No BS. Over priced and not happy with work preformed.... they left parts off the vehicle and I could barely make it around the block , limped it back ... they installed the part they failed to put back on ... Yet when I 1st went in to pay they said it was good to go & the they test drove it after all Work was performed..... that was obviously a lie...
