When i ordered online, the information regarding reservations is very misleading and inaccurate. Then, when you come inside, the entire place feels so tiny and crammed, no social distancing and music is very quiet. When the waiter asked how i wanted my steak i said i wanted it well done and i got it burned and the order was missing fries that i ordered. Basically, a bit of work to service could be done to improve as well as an update to help with reservations.

I’m not from the area and was visiting my aunts and they suggested this restaurant they loved. we got in and we’re instantly turned down for a table while it was empty and the manger (darlene) said they couldn’t seat us because it was too busy. then we made a reservation online for 30 mins later and was sat down in the back of the restaurant alone with no other guess present. the manger did not make us feel welcomed at all and seemed even annoyed at us just for trying to get a table. it’s very disappointing because the food we great and waitress’ was amazing. the other party behind us

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Worcester until I encountered the hostess/manager, Darlene.
I did not want to believe that I was discriminated against until my family was turned away.
When I first walked in, I was asked if I had reservations (which I did not). Darlene then mentioned that there would be many RSVP tables coming in and so she could not take us.
I knew from prior experience that there is an online reservations site and so I proceeded to see if the place was truly overbooked. Lucky me.. I was able to find availability within the next 15 minutes online.

If I was rating just food and wine, I'd give them 4 stars.
My rating of 2 stars is primarily based on service, especially management. My group of 4 ordered a total of 12 items, including 2 bottles of wine. Food tasted good & was out on time but service was very disappointing. For a "wine bar" their servers certainly don't know how to pour wine in a glass without spilling/dripping every time. Don't go in here expecting a high-end experience.
While the Worcester county had a mask mandate, our server did not have a mask on; her mask was on her chin the whole time.

I hosted a business dinner for 20 people--CEO and COO in attendence. The atmosphere and service was terrific, however our food was over the top! When all plates leave the table clean, you know people loved the food. Ed and Tim were awesome to work with for menu and wine selection. My guests were impressed with everything, event the easy parking. Don't wait, book this venue for your next business meeting! I will definitely be going back.

Lock 50 outdoor dining is inviting, but the food is absolutely horrible. First, the menu is limited so you really don't have much of a choice. We ordered hamburgers with fries. The fries had an after taste, which indicated that the oil used was used multiple times (old oil). Of course, none of us ate the bad tasting fries as they were also soggy. But the worst thing of all, was the bad smell the wine and water glasses had. They smelled like bad breath, rotting meat, and fish. It was really bad! Other things worth mentioning was the service. It was slow and unprofessional. It was obvious that

Went there with my family of 4. We were seated very quickly at a table that was impossibly wobbly such that we were nervous that drinks would tip over. But that was just the start.
What we ordered:
2 dozen oysters: Wednesday/Thursday of summer months have $1 oysters (ending 10/1) today's were from Duxbury. They were delicious.
Scallops: 6 came on a plate they were very good.
Pork belly: extremely dry and tough
Potato skins: these were just thinly sliced potato with bag cheese and bacon and sour cream on them. They were not bad but for the price I would expect more than just 4 slices

We had reservations last Saturday at 7. The place was nearly empty. We were one of three couples on the upper level. The first couple walked out without so much as tasting their drinks. We ordered two martinis. After about twenty minutes I was stunned when the other remaining couple received their drinks (also mixed drinks) before us, despite ordering them well after us. (Like I said, no one was there, so we HEARD them order) My girlfriend had previously gone down to the lower level to see if the bartender was inundated -he wasn't. I confronted our waiter about this and he seemed just as confused

They were understaffed and I don't think it was their fault/intentional so I added an extra star for that. (Would have rated them a 2.) I understand staffing is still an issue all over the city. I also won't comment on the timeliness or anything related to that for those same reasons.
Appetizer: awesome (loaded skins)
2 burgers: 1 overcooked. Both underwhelming. Didn't even melt the 2 slices of cheese they put on 1.
Fries: Awesome
$45 Rib Eye: Dont do it! Thin, only flavor was the globs and globs of blue cheese butter they used to cover the insane amount of soft squishy fat. Not

The service wasn't great. Wait time was long for drinks and food. The food was ok, proteins were cooked well but the sides that were paired were unusual flavor and texture wise, and honestly not enjoyable. A lot of pickled and a lot of raw elements that weren't advertised as such on the menu. My fiance and I didn't even touch them. I would have happily bought something else in addition to my meal from the small plates section of the menu, however when we let the waitress know that we weren't super happy, her first response was to mention that the chef when to culinary school. Huge turn off. I am

Extremely delicious and wonderful waitstaff!
While visiting for the night from Boston, I came here with my brother sister in law and 1+ year old niece for some appetizers early Saturday evening. I made a reservation on open table as we were walking up and we were seated promptly despite being a bit early.
We were having dinner at home that evening but decided to get out for a few appetizers. This was perfect! The beef carpaccio was insanely delicious...everything was but this stood out a bit more.
Great vibe in the back room and awesome music playing. I wish there was a place like this in Boston

Reserved a heated Igloo with 5 course dinner and wine for Valentine's Day as a surprise for my wife. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Yet the food was cooked perfectly and the service was of the best I've ever received. Needless to say she enjoyed it which ment I enjoyed it. Thanks for making our Valentine's Day one to remember.

I have to rewrite my review because my original one went a bit too far ragging on a very disruptive diner (a regular). So I want to go back to October and the amazing wine dinner hosted by the wonderful owner of the establishment - Ed Russo - and his beautiful staff. The Chilean wines, I think I've outgrown. Not bad wines, particularly when they brought the wine Spectator's favorite Don Melchor, and some well priced/well balanced Carmenere out of the Concha y Toro portfolio (and one more). The tasting was accompanied by an empanada... and I can tell you, the Chef is a magician at creating

Just tried them today for the first time. I really loved the ambience of the restaurant, the decor, and the music. I wish they turned the music up just a bit because there were a lot of good songs playing. Just for the scene alone, I'd return.
I went for brunch with my sister. I ordered the French toast which was great, yogurt parfait which was OK, and a side of bacon which were a little burnt but good nonetheless. My sister ordered chicken and grits and she wasn't too fond of it. I did notice that the chicken was over cooked and slightly burned, but she didn't want to send it

This review is long overdue since we went a couple weeks ago, but I HAVE to Yelp it because - even 2 weeks later - my bf and I are still raving about this meal!

The seating outside was nice. The menu isn't very big, so you might want to check it out beforehand - they only had 7 entrees to choose from, and I don't eat a lot of seafood, so that was cut down to 4. The service was slow, I assumed it was because the place was PACKED with people getting dollar oysters. The drinks are a little expensive and more like craft cocktails, which is totally fine, but I had to Google what a lot of the ingredients were to make a decision.
I'd recommend giving it a try if the menu strikes your fancy!

We went for Father's Day and sat on the patio. It was very very hot! And we had no shade.. our waitress Josie was attentive and friendly! I wish they had more vegan options but we made due with what they had! The drinks were delicious, definitely try the frozen French 75 it was to die for! Josie kept the water coming as it was sweltering in the direct sun! She definitely made the experience much better with her graceful nature and great attitude! We will definitely be going back but maybe sit in the shade this time!

Lock 50 is...........fine, I guess. Nothing here is bad, but I've never had a dish that wowed me. Sometimes that's more due to price shock. For example, the fried cauliflower is very tasty, but its $13 for like 3 florets. Meanwhile, other dishes at that same pricepoint are too much to finish. The cocktails are similarly middle of the road. Made with decent ingredients, appropriately strong, but for whatever reason I just don't ever think about them when I'm craving a cocktail.
