There are 1,000 things to love about Token..where do I start?! The fun, themey gamer decor is what catches your attention first. Everything from Marvel to Mario to Disney to PacMan lines the walls. Speaking of the walls- they are literally lined with arcade games. Hanging from the ceiling are multiple TVs that are connected to video games that you can play as well (controllers are given out by the staff upon request). Tokens are 4/$1, and most games are anywhere from 2-4 tokens. Some games are free! It's fun to come for games, but coming just for a drink or appetizer is totally worth it too

I loved the atmosphere. There were so many fun seating options. The variety of vintage, board & video games we're on point. We had chicken fingers, carnitas nachos and the morning after burger and a few craft cocktails😋🍹so yummy.
Meghan our server was the sweetest and made our experience. The only thing that was lacking was in the bartender's. Smile once in awhile ladies. I felt like I was either bothering them to order a drink or maybe I wasn't cool enough.
Other than that it was great. Looking forward to coming back

The drinks are very creative and fun! I had the super smash and it was a great tangy drink.
I had a lot of fun playing the arcade games. The only problem I did have is that the burger time machine did eat my token once or twice but for the most part it worked.
My dad really enjoyed the pin ball machines. Wish I got to stay longer!!

Extremely disappointed with our visit to the Token Game Tavern. I like to keep these reviews short and sweet, but I have so much to say about this place.
To start with, my husband begged me to come here, even though he knows how I feel about going to crummy bars and establishments like this one. Since he was so excited about it I said, "What the hell, let's give it a try."
Upon our arrival the staff was immediately very rude. I don't know if it was because we were older. We felt uncomfortable. There was a younger woman with long black hair

My friend drove from Johnson City to Knoxville because he wanted to check this place out. The people who worked there were very rude. Not once did they ask if we wanted anything, and the entire time we were there, the workers were all clumped together talking. When my friend finally did decide to order, they refused to serve him. Extremely unprofessional staff.

This was my first time here and I LOVED it!! Besides the amazing atmosphere and nostalgia, the music was amazing as well!! Great mix of throw backs!!
I ordered 2 drinks from the bar (pictured) and a meal (not pictured).
Both drinks were soooo good!! And for food I got the Mega Man burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was soo delicious!! It did not pack in seasoning or juiciness at all. I will definitely visit here again! 10/10

EXPLOSION of nostalgia coming at ya! Most of my childhood was in the 90's, so this place really feels like home. My husband and I arrived a few minutes before Wednesday night trivia (every Wed. at 7 pm) and were greeted immediately. The place was packed and lively. We sat at the bar, used a QR code to look at the drink menu on our phones, started a tab for the super creative and fun drinks, and soaked in the ambiance. Most of the drinks are quirky, colorful, and fun. Someone next to me had one that released "smoke" and my Revenge of the Nerds was coated in Nerds candy.

My wife and I were very excited to visit this bar for my birthday. We had reserved a table specifically to enjoy ourselves at throughout the evening. It had everything we were looking for: games, drinks, and food. And while it did have all of that, it also suffered from subpar service. It took 10 minutes of being seated in the dining room for some one to come and take our order. The drinks took about what you would expect for a busy bar but a Coke also took 10 minutes to arrive.

Unfortunately I had a bad first experience coming to Token. It started with waiting 45 minutes for a table which is understandable for a Saturday night. Once we were seated we waited 25 minutes and no one even came over to our table - not one person stopped by to ask us if we wanted water or a "hey someone will be with you in just a minute" nothing. One person in our group had to go up to the hostess stand to ask if we could have a waitress come to our table. Finally someone came after that. Then our waitress was only able to take 2 drink orders at a time??? So that was a process for

Token is literally one of the best places i have been too. I wish I could go more. Plentiful game selection. Their drinks are top notch and themed. The food menu was mediocre at first but has greatly improved over the years and even more recently with the addition of BIT Burger. I highly recommend this place and Bit burger for a great evening of hanging out with friends, drinks, and food.

We love Token. The atmosphere is so cozy and nerdy, it's a staple for any time guests come in to town and want to hang out. Beyond the games and overall vibe of the place, the food and drinks are phenomenal, the menu goes way beyond bar food, my favorite thing are their brussel sprouts with adult grilled cheese and tomato soup. Definitely recommend the big kid juice box too if you're looking for an alcoholic beverage.

Love Token! This place is so cool, tons of arcade games and pinball machines as well as board games and video games too. The food is also really good I always get their flatbreads. Cocktails are out of this world also! I have never had a bad experience here and I love that it's such a unique place! Truly a hidden gem in Knox!

My two son's love playing all the playstaion 4, Nintendo games, xbox game for free in the game lounge area.
I love watching them play video games on three different screens, while using Token Game Tavern free wifi.
This amazing community bar & grill has a huge selection of pinball machines and arcade games.
Most of all the Token Game Tavern was very clean, even the bar scene was a very fun place for my family to have fun, eat and relax.
