It's what gets you noticed, and it feels good to be praised for all of your accomplishments. But lately, everything seems overwhelming and responsibilities are starting to be pushed to the side. Stress is starting to take over. You're irritable or tearful and social engagements are being avoided. Your relationships aren't being tended to and your emotional and physical health are no longer a priority.

If you continue down this path, burn out is inevitable, and if you don't start taking care of yourself, school will become unbearable, your career will suffer, and so will all other aspects of your life. I help by providing a non-judgmental, collaborative place to learn how to balance responsibilities, establish a voice and gain self-acceptance.

I aim to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental place for you to explore the changes you would like to make by meeting you where you are along your life's path. I will collaborate with you in identifying several ways to achieve the outcome you desire, and I am always open to feedback because it is YOUR therapy experience after all.
Feeling stuck, a lack of motivation, isolation, worry, racing thoughts or general dissatisfaction in life? These are common symptoms when it comes to anxiety, depression and mood disorders in general. Often times, anxiety and depression aren't separate things and can live together making symptoms worse.
Being a teenager is hard. I am here to help guide and support your teen during this difficult stage of development. I aim to assist families in navigating a teen's desire for autonomy and independence, while providing a non-judgmental space for identify formation. I work with them to learn how balance responsibilities and social pressures, as well as how to set healthy boundaries in relationships.

At Patch Counseling, I teach you tools to increase self-esteem and perseverance, so you can create the life you are desiring.
I totally get it. A trip to see your therapist can sometimes take up to 2-3 hours out of your day depending on where you are and where your therapist is located. Online counseling allows for people to have a session in the privacy of their own home or office; all you need is an hour of uninterrupted time and your computer.

Highly recommend Patch counseling. She is such a compassionate and warm person. She has extensive experience working with teens and young adults. I’m so glad she is local to the RB area.
