The program offered at the BCC assisted me in many ways with my weight loss journey. The most important thing I learned was how to be accountable to myself and choose a healthy lifestyle. By the end of the program I wanted to eat mindfully and make movement an everyday part of my life.

Services
Our programming includes meals prepared by our Executive Chef in our beautiful teaching kitchen. We teach our clients how to use healthy ingredients to prepare meals in a timely fashion without sacrificing taste and flavor. Below are a few examples from our programming. The Bariatric Counseling Center staff is passionate about our mission to support clients on their journey to a healthier life.
Undergoing bariatric surgery for the first time, or a revision, and seeking the behavioral changes to support and maintain weight-loss initiated by surgery. Seeking to lose weight in order to be approved for joint replacements, breast reductions, or other medical procedures. Wanting to address chronic health issues (diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, etc.) by learning how to lose weight in a safe, sustainable way.

This place is a blessing! Truly a great experience. I had my surgery 3 years ago and I wish they had this in place when I had my surgery. Yes it's time consuming but the 3 hrs go by so fast and time spent well WORTH it!!! I learned a lot about my relationship with food hearing others in the group struggling with the same thing you deal with and things you didn't think of. If you are thinking of having surgery or struggling please consider this as well. I am so Thankful to the wonderful staff at BCC. Thank you! Thank you! Thank You!

I came here for a psych eval. Sage referred me here. (2nd floor) This office is out of network. They didn’t clear me for surgery and said I needed more visits. Expensive visits. No one ever explained to me my insurance was not in network. someone contacted me 5 weeks later for my results and said I needed more visits. I had a lot of questions that this person could not answer, and later admitted she was IN MARKETING!!!
Called sage to ask if I can go to an IN NETWORK provider, and they referred me to one and I was cleared in 1 visit.
I am disgusted by how shady these offices are. How dare they

If you had any doubt in your mind...let me be the voice of reason lol do it! This place changed my life and is continually doing so as we speak. I can’t say there is any place like this but they are reaching and teaching and I hope it catches like wildfire because we as human beings need just what they provide. Are you ready to see what you are capable of!? Call ASAP! They are waiting 😊😊🖤

Do not get bariatric surgery, without BCC as part of your plan. They go perfectly together. Having the surgery without BCC assistance is like... Having surgery without anesthesia. It will be much more beneficial for you. I LOVE Sarah, Glenn, Olinka & Susan. My life is mine, and it is awesome! To the IBS committee, back off I got this! LOL
