Frankie's

Bread was cold drenched in olive oil. I ordered marinara with mushrooms which was tomato juice with pasta and raw mushrooms. The "baked" ziti was more pasta with the cheapest marinara with some semi-melted cheese. Our server was nice though. The people next to us were shamelessly breaking their necks to look at us.

Horrible management, awesome food. My Google map showed 4.9miles that was under 5 miles and they checked it on Apple Maps that somehow showed 5.1 Miles and they refused to deliver. It’s one of our favorite places to eat or pick up food but this unnecessary attitude and no flexibility really changed our perception of Frankie’s.
Good food needs good customer service too, manager on duty (2/14/22 6:26PM) made the call of not delivering. You lost a loyal customer on 0.1 mile, that too was not correct as per Google maps.

Update: Again, I enjoyed its good food. I've never had anything subpar. Garlic rolls now had slightly crispy surface and they were better. Good server service, too.

As always I love their pasta, salad, and garlic bread. A big portion for a steal price.

Mixed reviews- sometimes the food is good, and sometimes not-so-good. We like the rollatini, but last visit it was terrible, -- we did not eat it in the restaurant, took it home and threw it away. Very little on the menu can be eaten by a diabetic who cannot eat carbs, but my friends want to go to Frankie's. We will certainly resist going here again.

The best tucked away restaurant ever. I visit so often after discovering it's on the strip that I live. Customer service is A1.

Fantastic food fantastic service can't wait to come back. Cassidy our waitress was a gem. My boyfriend brought me here on a lunch date and he had the veal piccata which was wonderful. I had the chicken spinach Florentine and it was delicious. I also had the minestrone soup which I loved. Great portions we both have leftovers for dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We love this restaurant but they are so understaffed that we had to leave after waiting for for over 45min to be seated, with no end in sight. They were forcing 1 server to serve the entire dining room of 10+ tables. Just watching him try to handle this impossible task was stressful. Tables were waiting with no drinks, no menus, customers were wandering around trying to find someone to give them their check. Management should properly staff this restaurant. Its unethical to force one server to serve every table in your entire restaurant.

We used to LOVE eating here!! When we moved to the area it was at least monthly if not every other week. Unfortunately it has slowly gone down hill especially during and after the lock down. Lackluster service, food portions have gotten smaller, not as crowded as it used to be are all contributing factors. One of the things I've always had a problem with is the amount of pasta they serve with the Parmigiano dishes, it's never enough and when I ask for a little bit extra they would charge me $5!!
We will probably come back but only for the occasional visit because it's close and convenient but

I love Frankies. Always will. I don't even care if the service is slow. That vodka sauce is to die for. My boo and I have been coming here for years and we can tell they were particularly hit hard by COVID. It's hard to get help these days and we came in a few times a few months ago and the managers were the ones cooking the food. The servers told us that there was like one person back there trying to do it all on a busy Saturday. Sheeeesh. We went back last week and all seemed pretty normal. The last two times that I have been to frankies it has been amazing! The wine deals were great and the garlic rolls are to die for. The salad that comes with each meal is also great. I have gotten the veal Gorgonzola and carbonara the past 2 times and both were great! My best friend got a margarita pizza and loved it and my mom got chicken florentine and said it was 10/10! This is now our go to Italian restaurant!

Do two restaurants constitute a chain?

I dunno, but we always end up at Frankie's on Canton Road, ten minutes from my house. But not any more. I like this Frankie's better. Realistically, it's not the most authentic Italian food in the world, but it tastes good. And the portions are big. Enough for two meals.

They start you off with a lovely salad -- gratis with the meal -- and garlic rolls. Yeah, they go overboard with the sauce. And saltimbocca shouldn't have this much spinach. While we're at it, the prosciutto on my chicken should be sliced thinner ... but

I haven't been to Frankie's in a few years. It used to be serviceable Americanized Italian food. But not any more. The sauce on my spaghetti wasn't anything like what I used to bet there. It tasted horrible. So did the inedible meatballs. The salad had very little dressing. The place was reasonably busy, but only one overworked waitress. But I can't blame them for this, as all restaurants are short on staff just now.

Ordered 3 entree's to go. 2 chicken dishes and a kids spaghetti and meatballs. One hour after consuming our chicken dishes, both my husband and I became ill. We stopped going to the Frankies on Canton after a cockroach joined us on the table during dinner. After eating contaminated food at this location, we won't be returning.

Kevin the manager is extremely rude and did not find us place to be as cordial as it was prior to current management

Hands down most tender and flavorful Chicken Francese I have ever had. Even the leftovers were delicious the next day. Why haven't I been there before? 4 stars because the salad was not crunchy. Server was excellent. I'm going back and ordering the Wedding soup instead of the salad.

Food is delicious! We've never been disappointed. We had the Meat Lovers Stromboli and the Eggplant Rollatini. Both were very tasty. I've never had a better stromboli!

We came here on my mother’s birthday! We decided a family-style dinner would be a night to remember.
It did take a few minutes to get greeted by the server, Emily. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but I guess our server was. She also failed to let us know it was half-off wine Sunday-Thursday. We would’ve ordered a more expensive bottle and tipped her off of the full price of the bottle. But, there is always next time.

Frankie's I hope you can survive your Take-Out...limp Caesar salads, greasy Garlic Rolls. The Gorgonzola looked excellent but was not your usual standard. The Lasagna look like nothing I have ever been served at Frankies. I was basically rolled pasta and was not cooked through.
Who was guiding the ship last night, obviously no one, this order left the Restaurant unchecked.

This place is amazing!! They have half price wine most of the time , deserts that you will die for and you won't go home hungry ever! Hands down the best Italian food I've had!! Oh and the prices are unbelievable!!!! I love this place!

Very good. The Bride got the Ravioli and I got the chicken over angel hair pasta(I don't remember what they call it) and it was excellent! Our meal came with those wunnerful rolls and Garlic butter and salads.

We also shared an excellent and reasonably priced bottle of Pino Gris wine.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience at this place. The quality of the ingredients were high, and the food was served very quickly. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food, and they served us plenty of rolls on the side. Would totally come back, Check out their menu it has a lot of items. I personally have the meat lover stromboli, and it was great.

Met a friend here for dinner. The rolls and salad are always good. Tried the Chicken Gorgonzola and it was delicious! The sauce was so tasty!!!! Waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all a good evening and tasty dinner.

Yes.... it's been 19 years since we visited Frankie's. So we brought a party of 11 to reminisce and hoped the food would be as delicious as we remembered. Our server Ray, was wonderful. Incredibly attentive and accommodating. Could not have asked for anyone better!
