When owner Greg Haugen was ten years old, he built his first shed. Greg would search the yard, finding old building materials, and then create small buildings. After high school, Greg went on to complete a degree in Construction Management from Ferris State University, with his builder's license not far behind.
It came as no surprise when he created Big Red Construction in 2008 and began building his business. When he isn't running around town getting jobs done, Greg enjoys working on his family's one hundred year old farmhouse, getting dirty with his trucks, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and canine sidekick, King.

Services
Whether building a new home, renovating a kitchen, or just replacing some loose tiles, there is no job too small for Big Red Construction. Reliability is key and we expect it from our employees as well as any other contractors and vendors we work with. Hard work is what makes our jobs a success. At Big Red Construction, we know that renovations can be stressful.
They did an excellent job of remodeling our bathroom. Greg worked seemlessly with us and other contractors to give us the look and features we desired. He provided sound advice and ensured the use of the most modern materials. Later on he returned to fix some final issues we discovered promptly and with a smile.
