At Smiles University, we're happy to offer a better, more convenient way of giving us the important information we need to know. Our secure online portal allows parents to complete their forms and turn them in before you and your child ever arrive at our practice. This method is effective, efficient, and much more convenient.
Dental emergencies can happen at any time, especially to enthusiastic children who love being as active as possible. Dr. Adam studied Biology and finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia (2006). He completed both dental school (2011) and his pediatric residency at Georgia Health Sciences University. During his pediatric training, he worked at the nationally recognized Children's Hospital of Atlanta as well as Children's Medical Center at Augusta, Georgia.
Our focus is exclusive to children so we built our office that way. It is meant to be fun and enjoyable for not only your child but for you as a parent. The experience you have with us will most definitely be different from your average general dentist. We like to think of Smiles University as truly a place of higher education for a lifetime of dental health.

Definitely the best pediatric dentistry practice in Bastrop and Austin area! It’s been several years now! and my kids love visiting Dr. Adam; he is just the coolest and most professional doc.
Also, the other doctors are outstanding and the whole staff are very efficient and friendly, excellent patient service.
The office is very clean, fun, and safe. Perfect for kids to keep their teeth healthy.

My son had a great dental experience today. I took my 7yr old to get some work done and Dr. Jim and his assistant Irais went above and beyond. They made him feel at ease. I am truly grateful to both of them. They were both very patient and gentle with my son. They both are amazing at their jobs. They talked to my son through the whole process making him feel comfortable and relaxed. They are so carring. They are truly the best. Thank you to both of you for your amazing Job and service towards my son. I recommend Dr. Jim to anyone looking for an outstanding pediatric dentist.

With 4 kids, it's super helpful to have appointments at the same time and they have made that happen consistently. All the dental hygienists and Dentists are GREAT with the kids and the visits are SUPER fast, which is amazing. They have sunglasses for the kids, TV's above the chairs, fun stickers. Kids love them, and adults do too! Plus they take Medicaid, too. Highly recommend their practice!

The staff here was great DR.Adam was amazing. this place has the best staff I have ever seen from checking in to checking out. They especially made my 5year old feel at ease. He did have teeth pulled but by the time we got to the car he was over it and is excited to actually go back next week. Thank you all so much I highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

We LOVE Smiles U in our household!! All 3 of my kids have gone from at least 5 months old, they are now 8, 5, & 3. They all are not one bit scared to see their dentists, who they know by first name basis. The whole staff is Amazing!! They have a welcoming environment for kids with Disney movies, video games and all sorts of cool activities!

Smiles U is the best place to take your kids. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have always been so friendly to us and I have always been treated with respect. They go over everything they are about to do and they are so patient with my girls. They talk to my kids like if they were they're own. Couple of days ago I took my daughter to this dentist we had some issues so we figured it best to part ways with this dentist this dentist is crazy they'll stalk you they'll blow your phone up took my daughter there they said she needed a bunch of this and that work done took it to a different dentist there was nothing wrong with her teeth this place is a rip-off don't let them fool ya they must be paying people to put up good reviews I've been in Austin my whole life and I ain't never been to a place with a bunch of dumber people than I have that place smiles University

Our first time here, and have heard great things about this place, so we decided to go for it! I had 3 kids that needed their routine checkups. From paperwork via electronic which was so neat and modern to the "campus tour" to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, our 1st visit was grand! The facility was clean and the wait time wasn't too long. My 17 month year old waa so calm during his visit also. The kids and I cant wait to return

We love this place! My 3-year-old looks forward to coming to the dentist. We have been now for a routine cleaning, check-up, with x-rays and also a filling.
The ladies here are super sweet and great with children.Dr. Danna is great!
The facility is clean and decorated with kid-friendly colors, toys, and other activities to keep them busy.
I haven't had to wait in the waiting room more than a couple minutes. Same for check out. They play movies in the waiting room and in the exam rooms which helps the appointments go smoothly.

I have been to multiple dentist and pediatric dentist and this place is by far the best! They are absolutely wonderful with my children, and make the dentist experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be, especially for a child needing more than a simple cleaning. They have fair billing and appointment scheduling is reasonable. My son had a cavity that was becoming painful and they were able to see him and pull the tooth within 30 min of me calling as well as me being able to schedule regular cleaning appointments less than a week away, which is not very common. I only wish they could handle

UPDATE 1/5/15: So we've been going here twice a year for over two years now, and I still love it. The office staff and hygienists are so wonderful and friendly, and the environment from the wait room to the exam rooms is all about catering to kids. My younger daughter has completely overcome her fear of dentists thanks to Dr. Adam. He really takes his time with the kids and explains everything in a way that they will understand without patronizing the children. When I told him my now 7 year old hates brushing her teeth and tries not to use toothpaste, he sat with her after examining
