After getting new tires a week or so ago (another installer), I felt like I was driving on a flat. I reached out to Sports Car Tire after seeing great reviews hoping they would help me regain confidence in my car. They do really nice work straightening and refinishing wheels and they do so for a good price. If I had stopped with just doing that, I definitely would have given five stars. But I also bought a set of used wheels and new tires. There is definitely some salesmanship going on with the wheels they sell, as they were a little fast and loose with the details. Overall, though, I was satisfied. The staff is friendly. The turnaround time is quick. They do good work. Just be sure you get a specific written description of what you're buying before you pull the trigger.

I called looking for a new rim because I was told to replace one on my Volkswagen but could only come after work. I arrived around 4:30 right before they were closing and they insisted on looking at my rims. Only to find that I had 3 bent rims (oof) instead of just the one I was aware of. Everyone was extremely professional and beyond helpful repairing my rims right before they closed! I definitely will be coming back for any of my car needs and recommending them to anyone I come across.

Great bunch of guys work here, they all seem very happy and walk into the waiting room just to chat with customers. I came here to balance 35" offroad tires that other places could not. They have real professionals that really know how to diagnose and correct the issue. I am very happy with the outcome. They install wheel and tire packages for exotic high performance cars as well as daily drivers. I recommend this place for purchasing, repairing and balancing your wheels and tires.

This is place has an excellent service history with me. I am from New York and this is the the second set of wheels I purchased in Wilmington Delaware. The staff is polite professional and prompt. There is was no haggling. They gave honest and professional advice. With both purchases I made , the products the recommended were correct. They guided me from buying something that would not do justice to my vehicle. I am a regular and they have my future business.

We just purchased a complete set of five Michelin tires and German Bundt alloy wheels for a Mercedes Benz restoration. Les, Ginger and the entire staff went out of their way to assist us and were knowledgeable and experienced in handling all aspects from order to delivery. I can highly recommend them and will return for our next restoration project!

The result is brand new looking wheels perfectly mounted tires and I am so very happy to write about excellent workmanship.

Seriously these guys are the best in the business with refinishing, repairing and straightening wheels, Add to it that they have great prices on tires often beating tire rack prices and a proper load force balancer. True car enthusiasts that know their stuff and the ability to restore a factory wheel to brand new with a true to factory finish. I had them do wheels in the past for me but most recently I had them straighten and finish a set of M5 wheels back to the original factory Chrome Shadow finish which is notoriously difficult to get right. I will post photos.

* Most places don't remove the old weights when balancing. They did it correctly.
* No bs from them. Everyone, from the front-desk to the techs, treated me well and with respect.
* They have experience working on expensive wheels. I saw mostly high-performance cars in their garage.

Outstanding. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and gave me an option for new tires that worked out better than what I originally considered and was cheaper. They repaired a bent rim that the dealer took 2 tries to straighten that still was out of balance. Prices were very reasonable, service was quick and staff (including the installer) helpful and friendly.

I can't say enough about how positive of an experience I had with this place. Ordered a set of Winter tires and wheels from tirerack.com for my new car, a 2016 ordered early in the season. Because of a quirk on tirerack's website, I ordered a wheel/tire set one size too small. SportsCar tire was extremely patient and helpful thru the entire process, not only personally returning my tires to tirerack.com (their distribution center is local to Delaware) but went so far as to call me 2 weeks later just to make sure I got my credit!

I've been going to sports car tire for several years now. Whether it's a simple replacement of tires or upgrading rims or straightening bent rims these guys are the best. Regardless if you need hard-to-find sizes, specialty tires, or upgrade rims this is the place to go. It's a little out-of-the-way for me anyway but I'm always treated fairly and in and out relatively quickly. I've never felt that they tried to upgrade or sell me something I didn't need in fact I always feel like i'm coming out ahead. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as is the rest

I ordered a set of tires/wheels from Tire Rack that came pre mounted & balanced (incorrectly). Upon noticing the tires were out of balance via shaking in steering wheel & seat, I called up Sports Car Tire & made an appointment. They use a Road Force Balancer which is far & away the most effective balancing tool. After they fixed the balance, the tech proposed we go out on the highway to confirm the vibration was gone (which it was!!).
Sports Car Tire took care of me and were extremely fair. Would recommend to anyone regardless if it's a Civic or Porsche.

I was traveling and hit a pot hole which ended up bending and cracking one of my rims on a MB 350. These guys were great. The rim was beyond repair and they covered different options to get me back on the road. A place like any other, in it to make money, but more important - doing the right thing for the customer!
