Service was subpar, had to wait a long time to get seated (although not many people were seated at the restaurant). Waitress was not very friendly, seemed like she didn't want to be there, and could sense that we annoyed her regarding questions we had about the food. Food was average at best. Go somewhere else for Mexican food- there are plenty of other better options in Tulsa!

I have not been here in a long time and they still have yet to disappoint me. My kids get mexican pizzas or quesadillas and my go to is the street taco platter with black beans and rice. Sopapillas were excellent. Wonderful service. They never let me down. Chimis is my favorite place to eat! We love you Sebastian.

Terrible! We were seated by a large table of patrons drinking and very loud. Which would have been fine if that was the only booth available but there were other seats open. We couldn’t even enjoy visiting with our kids and grand baby because you couldn’t hear. Our order and my sons order was wrong! Couldn’t even get our drinks refilled. Wouldn’t recommend!!!!

A TEAM OF SCAMMERS! I went to eat at the restaurant and I left my credit card forgotten, I called to report that I had left my card there, They told me that I need to bring the ID, THEY HAVE JUST MADE THREE PURCHASES WITH MY CREDIT CARD! In a chaotic time where most restaurants are struggling just to stay open it is so wonderful to see Chimi’s thriving and setting the bar high. For over 20 years Chimis has been a family favorite for us. We… moved away from the Tulsa area but were able to stop in for a visit tonight. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting as always. The newly painted walls and refreshed decor really brightens up the entire dining room. The restaurant was clean and the table bussers insured it’s stayed that way throughout the night. Our food was delivered accurately, quickly, and piping hot.

The chips and salsa are great...the refried beans are awesome. The rice is super good. Their guacamole is very good. Now, if you've had west coast fish tacos....avoid Chimi's. I spat my first bite out..now to be fair we are in Tulsa, Oklahoma right now. On the up side my daughter liked her chicken fajitas and my hubby liked his 3 amigos platter.

Slipped and fell on ice outside of restaurant in February due to broken gutter that turned the sidewalk into a skating rink.
Reported to management and property management. It was originally marked with a. Yellow tape, but it eventually fell apart and was removed.
I am still dealing with neck issues due to this fall, and would appreciate it if management would make sure this is taken care of so others do not get injured when it rains or snows.
Edit: 10/22/21 the guttering has still not been repaired. I sleep in a neck brace most nights since this slip and fall due to neck instability. Frustrating

PLEASE DO NOT RENEW their lease!! (15th) It's shameful how bad this place really has become. It's dank, dusty all over, smears, smudges, old food crumbs all over ledges, etc ... The food?? The food tastes like it's from a can, heated in a microwave and forgotten for a few minutes. It's gone WAY downhill.
This place has had it's time.. and it's been too long. A new business deserves this location.

I used my debit card to pay for my meal and wrote in cash on the tip line of my ticket. A cash tip was left on the table. They took it upon themselves to charge my card for an additional tip. I called to correct the matter, but they still didn’t follow thru with the correction the owner told me he would have done.
