She strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using her skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology.
Nitrous oxide sedation, also known as "laughing gas, " is commonly used to make treatment more comfortable. The nitrous oxide is inhaled through a mask and produces a state of relaxation. Local anesthetic will be administered in conjunction with nitrous oxide to eliminate pain. Nitrous oxide is designed to make procedures easier for nervous patients and has been effective for many years.
Payment is required at the time services are performed. Other financial arrangements are available when extensive dental care is necessary, or when the dentistry performed exceeds your budget or insurance benefits. We will be sensitive to your financial circumstances within the framework of sound business practices.

My family and I have been going to this practice for many years and it’s been nothing but a positive experience. All the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable. They have been wonderful with my young kids (they actually don’t hate going to the dentist!). If getting any dental work done with Dr Li she will always make sure you are comfortable.

I began going to Dr. Li in 2016 after many years of being scared of the dentist. I’ve had several visits in the past year for crowns, fillings, wisdom teeth extractions, etc. All procedures were quick, easy and pain free and I am no longer scared to go! Scheduling appointments and communicating with the office is made so easy through phone and text notifications. Tooth pain is very painful and uncomfortable, and I can’t thank everyone at Gentle Dentistry enough for helping me through it over the last year!

I came to Gentle after a looooong string of getting mucked about by dentists who were trying to charge me a fortune and make me do procedures I either didn’t need or didn’t want. Since coming to Dr. Li and her wonderful team at Gentle, not only has my smile never looked better but I can authentically say I don’t dread the dentist anymore. Dr. Li and her hygenists take the time to make sure they are thorough, and explain everything to you so you feel informed and a part of the process. Her rates are fair and Tiffany at the front desk makes it her personal mission to make sure all their patients

I was referred to Gentle Family Dental by my 2 room mates who went there for their first time and they were very impressed and satisfied with everything. So they told me and I went. I went for x rays and a cleaning. My crown had fallen off which was done by another dentist 25 years ago and Tiffany the office manager was able to have Dr Li do a new temporary crown right after the cleaning. The whole process was painless and it was the first time I actually enjoyed the dental procedure. The office and staff are perfect and far exceeded my expectations. I’ve had a fear of the dentist since I was very young. Because of this fear and anxiety I’ve had problems with my teeth all my life, making dentist visits even worse. My latest issue was a broken and infected tooth. My mother had found GFD online and felt it would be a good fit for me. I went there for an initial appointment to assess my broken tooth. This review is coming from someone who has had anxiety and dental phobias for years, so much so that I hadn't gone, even to get a cleaning, in about 5 years. I've since visted GFD twice in the past two weeks.

First off, wow. The staff at Gentle Family Dentistry are amazing. They were very welcoming and very personable. I had a cleaning done and it was fast and as close to pain-free as you can get. I was really impressed with the quality of the cleaning and the x-rays beforehand. It was clear that the staff members were highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable about dentistry; I even learned about the ultrasonic cleaning tool used to clean my teeth! Thanks for a great experience and I will see you in 6 months.

The best dentist around! Dr. Li is the most gentle dentist I've ever had, and walks her patients through what's being done and why. I recently had a procedure done that required a very deep Novocaine shot, and while I usually am sore for days afterwards, I felt absolutely no pain once the numbness went away. Truly a wonderful experience (as wonderful as the dentist can be!).
The staff at the office is friendly and welcoming as well. Tiffany is such an uplifting welcome to the office (or on the phone), and Shawna and Linda are so calming while you're in the chair for a cleaning or a procedure.

Their work is excellent. Their prices are - well, nothing is cheap. If I have to pay a lot of money for a service, I want to get the best service. You're definitely getting what you pay for here. And who wants less than perfection when it comes to your teeth! Plus, the staff is great. Won't try to sell you anything cosmetic - good ethics. Medical costs are not going to come down in our lifetime, so just put your hard-earned dollars to good use and get the best.

My husband and I began going to Gentle Family Dentistry this past fall. For the first time since moving back to the Seacoast, we found a dental office we are happy with! Dr. Li and Shauna, her dental assistant, are friendly and caring- they check in throughout the appointment to ensure we are comfortable. Tiffany, who runs the office, is amazing as well. So helpful when it comes to billing and breaking down costs. She is great about following up after appointments too to make sure you are feeling okay. I highly recommend this practice!

Due to a change in our dental insurance I brought my children to Dr. Stephen Smith of Gentle Family Dentistry. He tried telling me that my son (age 12) had 8 cavities that needed to be filled. Neither of my children had ever had any cavities up to this point, There had been no change in care of their teeth or increase of sugary foods. Astonished, I brought him back to our original dentist for a second opinion and they confirmed that he did not have any cavities. How this man sleeps at night I will never know.

It's hard to go to the dentist but it's easy at Gentle Dentist! This place was fabulous from the first seconds walking in. Staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful. Dr. Li, Tiffany, and Shawna were outstanding. Talked me through billing, procedure, and treatment. Thank you for not being thr dentist I remember as a kid. Highly recommend this office!
