This place was TERRIBLE. I won't be going back, we were sat in the back and off to the side, which wasn't a big deal. Once the food came, it made everything worse. The waffles were dry and honestly I would rather have eggs waffles. Those would have been more satisfying. The chicken was very dry, but it had a little bit at flavor in it.
I do recommend the chicken sausage, just make sure you tell them to cook it well. Mine was a little undercooked.

What an AMAZING dinning experience from the service to this amazing food!!! I definitely recommend you stop by McCray's. I had the chicken and waffles with the cinnamon butter... Oh my goodness... It was sooooo DELICIOUS!!! I've not had fried chicken made to such perfection like this before. The seasoning were in every bite and so savory. I'm glad we we came. I'll definitely be back. The manager Chris was simply amazing!! Thank you for a great dining experience.

Late night stop after shopping. We walked in and was promptly seated close to the bar. Our waitress greeted us after a short wait and we ordered spirits to kick off dinner. We ordered two beers, tony rigatoni and southwest bowl.
The pasta was descent but quite bland. I asked for more seasonings and sauce due to the dryness. The southwest bowl was okay but we sent it back because it was so bland and not fresh. Our server suggested flatbread and it was a great replacement. The food was okay however not sure if we will return.

We've been going to this restaurant since they opened, but no more. We've only had 2 incidents over our lengthy loyalty here where the manager was involved, neither with success. The final straw occurred this past weekend when they refused to honor the printed menu price for our order. We tried unsuccessfully to resolve with the manager and the server to no avail. We will not be eating here any more. Too many other options with honorable management to choose from.

Where to start. After arriving to celebrate a friend's birthday over brunch, I found the birthday girl and another guest at the bar. I learned we were not to be seated until 70% of our party had arrived. The birthday girl politely asked the manager to go ahead and sit us since she had not been told of this requirement when she called to book. The manager rudely over-talked her, saying it was on the restaurant website. I later checked the website and could find no such thing. It's perplexing that he would think a website should be scanned when the reservation was verbally made. Well, that

We hosted our sonās high school graduation dinner here and it turned out great! We had a party of 27 and although we were a large party, we only had 1 waitress. She was great and the manager was really apologetic about the staffing. We used the private room area and brought in balloons and table decor. Surprisingly, the food was delicious! Our party had 2 vegans, 1 pescatarian, 1 vegetarian and 8 kids, and we had minimal issues. We have to be realistic, some issues may happen with a large party. I care about the waitress/managers response and urgency to fix the issue and they passed. The food

Went to McCray's for brunch today with a large group of six. Had the chicken salad sandwich on a gluten free bun with sweet potato fries (pictured) and one of my friends had the salmon BLT (also pictured). Both would rate it 5/5! Chicken salad was excellent, not too sweet. The gluten free bun was fantastic and didn't fall apart as soon as I picked it up (which is typical of Gf buns...) Sweet potato fries are a MUST !!! would definitely return and would recommend reservations if you're going to come for brunch

McCray's is such a fun spot in Midtown. The bar is cute inside and food is delicious! The restaurant serves pub food and more. I've stopped by for brunch as well as dinner. The restaurant has 3 levels and many different seating arrangements.
Everything was great! Service was good as well. They also have bottomless mimosas on the weekend.

This place was great! Cute atmosphere, good location, good food at decent prices! The sweet potato fries were fantastic! The regular fries seem to be beer battered and we're also good. I wish I'd had a little more of the chipotle sauce on the turkey club since I couldn't really taste it/ tell it was there. I'd definitely come back here for some affordable drinks and dinner.

We're in Atlanta for the golf tournament and wanted a nice sports bar to watch the LSU opening game. After doing some research, we decided on McCrays.
Walking in, it has the typical pub style vibe. Nice bar and table setup. We were greeted by a doll of a hostess and seated immediately.
Our waitress, Re'Jeane was awesome right off the bat. Got our drinks (I totally recommend the pineapple marg if you like spice) and an app. Once it got closer to game time we asked if we could change the tv closest to us - mind you there are about 10 TVs in the restaurant. Re'Jeane came back and

Service here was great. Came for a bridal shower and the waitresses were great. I ordered lemon pepper wings. They were pretty dry on the inside but I really enjoyed the flavor. The fries were fresh and crispy. Would come back, possibly getting something else instead. 3 stars for food, 5 stars for service.

This place is a waste of money and taste buds. I would leave a long drawn out review but the photo of the salmon on my salad will be all the comedy I can take for now.
They charge $7 to add "4 ounces" of salmon. I wish I had my scale in my purse.
The chopped salad was all lettuce. No toppings.
The friend pickles were too salty.
The gumbo was made by a German.
The crab cakes is a single crab cake. Remove the "s" making it plural.
Just no. Ugh.
Order the pineapple jalapeƱo margarita and go get food somewhere else.

What a bummer of an evening. Party of 7 was sat immediately. Ordered two pretzels for the table, they came out hot and fresh. Ordered a southwest bowl with chicken, pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, Cobb salad with salmon, cheese burger, rigatoni with shrimp, Caesar salad with chicken, and a salad with shrimp. Waited a long time for the food. Place was not packed. No one running around. Drinks were never refilled. Pulled pork and fries were cold. Not room temp, cold. Rigatoni (15 noodles) had an $8 up charge for shrimp, there were 3. It was cold. Burger, cold- the once melted cheese

Decided to go here with a friend for a quick bite. The day I went, the place was packed. I did not take me and my friend long to be seated. Our server, came immediately after we were seated. It took us some time to decide what we wanted to eat. The server was extremely patient and gave some suggestions. For drinks, I got a seltzer drink & my friend got a beer. For the entrees I ordered the chicken sandwich, a side of fries and a small salad. The salad tasted fresh, the fries were hot and the sandwich was savory. This place sells mostly American food and had a large options of beer drinks.

Out Celebrating a birthday and decided to stop McCrays! Our waiter was "Ace " who was amazing . I have lived in GA quite some time and I can't believe I have never been!
The look on the inside gives you "Pub vibes" . If your going for the ambience then this may not be the place for you ! But if you are going for good food and drinks then this is a must try!
I had lemon pepper wings with Siracha honey, as well as the fried pickles. My boyfriend ordered the Ny strip steak with wok mushrooms and black beans and rice ( he mentioned that the rice was bland. I was able to

After a long day, I had some guests in town and they wanted to experience the Midtown experience. Upon doing some searching, Yelp help me decided on McCrays. I was super excited as based on the reviews it was known to offer the small-town neighborhood bar feeling with great food and a "heart of the city" ambiance.
Upon walking in there was a sign advising that they were short-staffed and to be patient. I have grown to know this is the new normal now post-pandemic. In any case, the bartender came over within 7 minutes and got us to a table. He was very pleasant and though you could see

Average bar/pub with standard selection. Burgers/sandwiches, flat breads, a couple of salads, wings etc. Spinach and quinoa salad is rather good. I've also tried teryaki salmon but it was a disappointment. Salmon way overcooked and previously frozen.
I wouldn't get any fancy drinks here either, stick with wine/beer. My Manhattan was mediocre.
Friendly bartender though :)
I wouldn't come out of my way to come here but if in the area, give it a shot. It's popular with sports fans; plenty of TVs to catch a game on.

We can here on a Saturday around 1/2 for their brunch service. There was no wait and it wasn't terribly loud. The brunch service is 10-4 but WARNING: bottomless mimosas ($20) end at 3pm. We arrived closer to 2 and figured an hour was plenty of time. However, they don't leave the pitcher on your table so if you have a ghostly waiter, you may get two or three refills in that hour.
The food was delicious! Pictured is the chicken and waffle as well as the Salmon BLT. There aren't condiments on the table so you'll need to ask for those. Syrup doesn't come with the chicken

DELICIOUS food!! I really underestimated this place. I thought it was going to be just a run of the mill, average, restaurant, but the food is EXCELLENT. I've tried so many different dishes from here, and literally, I have not had a single dish or food item that I didn't like. You can tell that they use high quality ingredients, and more importantly, they execute the cooking of the food really well. The Cuban sandwich is my favorite. It's sooooo flavorful and packed with meat. I also had the Mac and Cheese, and it was so good..it's a must have. I've been back to McCray's so many times. This is
