I just wanted to say to Steiner Reality that I'm starting to feel at home with my new home and for the maintenance of this apartment building and Steiner Reality they also have great awesome responds when people need them the most. The staff at Steiner Realty provide truly excellent service. Service requests are handled promptly.
We recently had a non-emergent maintenance request about improving exterior lighting and they came up with an excellent solution which was promptly installed. Kudos to John, Nicole and Paul!. If i could give this management company negative stars i would. Moved into their “luxury” apartments about a year ago and quickly discovered they were anything but that. The floors are cheap laminate that squeaks every time you step on it, used to think it was just my unit until i toured another residents unit and discovered their entire unit also squeaked.
The urine problem… not something i thought i would ever type but here we are. The entire building smells like urine, except of Fridays, the one day of the week they actually hire someone to come clean the building. Which you would think

I rented from Steiner for several years and was really happy with my experience. Everyone on their staff with whom I interacted was helpful and friendly. They kept the apartment in good condition, they responded quickly to maintenance requests, yearly rent increases were very reasonable, and overall they were just great to work with. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

I recently moved into a Steiner Property. I experienced two minor maintenance issues which were resolved in less than 24 hours. Staff is friendly and always returns calls. My apartment is clean and updated. Grounds are upkept with a lot of space. Also one thing that I was VERY amazed about is how quiet it is! I can not hear anyone above or below me. I would recommend Thorn Run Apartments to anyone.

I have lived at a Steiner property for going on 6 years now! They are always fantastic to work with. Just recently we had our apartment repainted and I must say I am so overjoyed and just over the moon with how great it looks! More importantly I wanted to express how fantastic the guys were, the detail, the quickness, the consideration and professionalism was completely outstanding!
Mike, Tanner and Randy are fantastic and such an asset to the team! I really can not speak highly enough about how happy we are and just how fantastic as always the Steiner crew is/was!!!

My husband and I lived at the Fifth Avenue High School for about five years. Steiner Realty is a top-notch management company and we loved our time at the School. The apartment was beautiful with wood floors, tons of light from large windows and gorgeous kitchen cabinetry. In fact, the only reason we left was because we decided to buy a home. Any time we had a maintenance request, the friendly maintenance department was prompt with addressing the issue. I’ve been renting from Steiner for 6 years. I have nothing but good things to say. This company really cares about each property they own. The office responds quickly with any issues or concerns you have. The online portal is easy and allows you to pay rent and input maintenance requests. The property is very well maintained. Have rented the same apartment through Steiner for the last 4 years or so. I’d read plenty of horror stories about renting from other companies when I was initially looking at apartments so i was cautiously optimistic when i found this one. Seriously the worst company to rent from. 6 months ago, I would have raved about this company because myself and my friends didn't have any bad experiences which is so common renting in Pittsburgh. Soon enough, Steiner proved why they are just like the rest of them. All they care about is money. They have the worst cleaning crew, maintenance crew and landscaping crew. Don't even get me started on the office employees and their horrible uppity attitudes. Casey, the owner could care less about his tenants, once again, you are nothing but a dollar sign. Let me start by saying my experience with Steiner was mostly positive. The maintenance team was very attentive and would at least evaluate the issue within 24 hrs. The complex was clean. There was a locked external entry door in addition to your personal door with a deadbolt. I felt secure at 5530 Fifth Ave (Normandy Apts).

I have lived at 5th Avenue School Lofts for over a two years now. I have never had a better rental experience (and I am picky!). Every maintenance issue that I have ever had was handled within two days (usually the next day). Management has handled non-routine things such as BUILDING me a room divider for the first studio that I lived in. The building is beautiful with soaring ceilings and arched hallways. The gym is bigger than most gyms that I have seen in apartment buildings and has everything that you need (including a couple televisions) and matted space for at least four people to do

I have been renting with Steiner for 3 months now in their Hidden Pines apartments (Swissvale) and I have enjoyed each interaction I have had with staff. The only complain I do have it with the stairs to get into a apartment building needing replaced and the roads being VERY dangerous during the winter.
UPDATED: We had an attempted break in that was not even voiced to management by maintenance worker who received my voice mail. They were not willing to work with us about lease, considering the situation. Since moving to another company and area we have had no issues or complaints for 5 months

I have been renting Steiner Realty in Shadyside for a year and a half now. The apartments are great with clean premises. The maintenance requests are taken care of in a day or two. They also have started online rental payment which makes it convenient for us. Thanks to Zolin and team, I also got a flexible lease option for my second year. Overall a good management and my experience has been great!

I have been renting Steiner properties since 2007 and have dealt with everyone in the Edgewood office during this period. I was new to the rental market and was apprehensive taking the "plunge", however, after looking at many apartments in and around Pittsburgh the Steiner property impressed me enough to sign a 3 year lease. Their unit had most of the features I was looking for; I would have been settling if I chose any of the other apartments I viewed.
