I’ve been coming to King’s for years and continue to love the food here. However, during my most recent visit, I had a slightly unpleasant interaction with the guy server here. The service I received here used to be really great, but due to the pandemic, they seem to be a little short-staffed too. We arrived for an early dinner around 4:30 and all booth seats were taken except one. I asked the waiter if we can space out a little bit and sit at the other empty tables. I mean really empty, no one, NO ONE was sitting in any of the table seats. And the waiter looked at me as if it was an unreasonable

We found this wonderful Kings Korean restaurant about a month ago and have gone back two more times. Their always busy, and whether it's Dining In or people using Take Out it's a fantastic atmosphere. Our favorite choices are the noodles and chicken soup options and also the Korean beef sticks every time we go.

Excellent customer service and excellent good. The employees were nice and very helpful. Filled out waters routinely as well! Food was amazing. You get your typical Korean side dishes. The side dishes are excellent. The food quality is amazing. The kimchi stew Bu-dae Jigae we got was amazing. It says it serves for 2 but it's definitely enough to serve 4! That kimchi stew was amazing! The tofu was soft, sausages were juicy, and the stew had a nice spice to it. The gimbap was great but it fell apart easily so be careful with it but it was still great in taste. Seating was easy and quite spacious

Not sure why, but this place was better when it was a buffet. The Korean fried wings tastes like a Chinese sweet and sour chicken but with a Korean sauce instead. Had an amazing experiences the last two times I came here, but was slightly disappointed this time. Overall it was still good just not amazing. I'll be excited when their buffet comes back.

I'm half Korean and can cook a lot of food myself like Korean food takes so long to make. We had mandu, kimbap, pork bulgogi and dollar bibimbap and it was all really good! Staff was accommodating and swooped in with lollipops when our child was getting cranky.

My favorite Korean restaurant! Everything I've had is delicious! I get chicken bulgogi but spicy and it's perfect! I also love when they add kimchi to the gimbap. The bonchon is excellent. The staff is very kind! Expensive but worth it!!

Nestled into a strip mall just north of the Twin Cities, Kings Restaurant serves up some of the tastiest, most authentic Korean food in Minnesota.
The service is friendly and prompt and every dish that we had was full of flavor. The rice cakes in the daukboki had a perfect, chewy consistency and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. The kimchi was crisp and appetizing, and the sauce in the ja-jang-myeon was deep, earthy, and complex. My favorite dish was the gal-bi, a plate of marinated spare ribs that were beautifully seared, richly flavored, and very tender.
In addition to a great selection

It's been a few years since I've been here, but it was absolutely delicious! I was recommended this place by my boss at the time, who was a Korean immigrant, so I took her recommendation seriously, and I'm glad I did! I think about the bibimbap all the time, the best I've had (don't tell my boss). Of course served with great banchan too! Sadly I live on the other side of the country now, but I can't wait to try this kimbap I see in the photos next time I'm in Minneapolis.

This is my second visit to King's. The first time having been blown away by the quality and flavor of their kimchi, enough to convince me take home two containers of it ala carte, I had to come back for a second helping. I went with the most common dishes this time, bulgogi, japchae, and ddeokbokki, standards I can judge fairly, having a great deal of experience with all.
The bulgogi was good. Completely traditional. You won't regret this choice. Not too heavy on any one ingredient, nor underwhelming in the slightest. Bold, well marinated, sweet and juicy. The only improvement to be made would

Delicous food! The Bulgogi and Kimchi Stew are fabulous! The staff are kind and willing to grab anything you need and stop for a small talk at any time. The Kyoja soup is definitely a favorite. If you're looking for good korean food and a fun korean resturant, Kings Resturant is the place for you!

Amazing kimbap, we would always order to-go during covid 19. Very tasty, with perfect combination of sesame oil in the rice plus an ingredient that gave it a small "kick"

There's a limited amount of Korean restaurants in Minnesota so to find one that serves delicious food is rather hard to find. First time in this restaurant and won't be the last time either.

First we were surprised that they were open for dine in. We're not fans of eating in our vehicle so we appreciate that we can sit down.

It wasn't really busy, due to covid, there were maybe 10 other customers. Our food came out in less then 15 minutes. We ordered 3 different dishes I can't name them because I'm can't pronounce them lol.. but they all were delicious. One

Good selection of authentic Korean food right next-door to a Korean grocery store Seoul Foods with the best kimchi I've ever had. Got that salty flavor that not everyone in Minnesota likes. In general the food is a little on the salty side, which I like. We had the bimbimbap which was priced a little better than the pork bulgogi ($13 vs $19). Hard to find good Korean restaurants in Minneapolis metro area - let alone the suburbs - but this one is worth a stop if you've got a craving for it!

Service was friendly but poor. Service was very slow. Seems like they had their whole team taking a break and eating in dining area. I understand that employee need to eat but they should have closed door instead of letting customers wait. Or maybe take turns eating instead of everyone eating.

We really wanted to get sushi but unfortunately it wasn't available today. Not even any kimbap. We ordered galbi short ribs, sweet and sour pork, pan fried dumpling and bokembap (fried sweet). The galbi short rib was good ($24) but unfortunately everything else was not. The sweet and sour was the worst

I walked in 30-minutes before closing time on a Saturday night and was denied service so I don't know how the food taste. Unfortunately, I did not get to eat here which was sad. There was no sign that indicating last call. Please respect the hours posted online and the door of your restaurant.

Overall, I did not have a good experience here. It's sad, I don't even know how the water tasted like.

Great authentic Korean food. I put a lot of trust in an ethnic restaurant when there are a lot of "native" people who frequent the restaurant and every time I am been they (weekend dinner) there is more Korean being spoken among the patrons than English. The food is very tasty including the the sushi. A bit expensive, but among the various dishes we've had they have all been good.

Last time I came here was 4 years ago, it was a great expensive experience. Food was tasty. Now that I am back in town, I wanted to try the luxurious Korean food again. But the blackbean noodles didnt taste much, the rice cakes were lacking of ingredients, and the short ribs were undercook (part can be blamed towards me for not turning the meat on the hot atone dish). Mind you we were the first customers in the empty building at 2pm for awhile. The service was good as I remembered it though.

I recommend going to Dong Yang deli down a few blocks instead

Just met a group of Yelpers for the weekday lunch buffet. At $12 it's a pretty good deal!

The service here was really wonderful! All of the ladies that helped us we quick and efficient, plus super sweet and helpful!

The weekday buffet is definitely the best deal! On this particular Friday it started with steamed or fried rice. Gyozas, chicken wings, a beef short rib, spicy pork, and breaded chicken bites in sauce. China was covered deliciously!
Next was some tempura veggies, various sushi rolls, and some watermelon. Japan was done right. Pretty good for a buffet selection.

Finally the Korean

I went here today for a yelp event with a group of people, to have the lunch buffet. I am struggling giving this 3/5 starts instead of 4/5 stars, but there were two big things that really bugged me about this restaurant. The first was that nothing named on the buffet, so for someone like me who has a hypersensitivity to shellfish I had to either go by what I know or ask, also some of the dishes it just would have been nice to know what they were. The second big reason is again because of my hypersensitivity to shellfish. To get the sushi (which I love) the tongs were placed in a water bin and

Came on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with their lunch buffet. Only con, I wish they told you pop wasn't included as it was an extra $2 and flat.

Sushi rolls were decently good, fried chicken and string beans were perfectly fried, same with the fried gyoza. The galbi was a bit tough to chew, and liked how they had warm soup with sides of noodles.

Overall, great way to feed the tummy on a low budget with plenty of food. Service was also really friendly too.
