Located in the Minneapolis Uptown neighborhood, Rinata is an Italian restaurant that blends the traditions of Italian culture. Our menu features seasonal specials made with locally procured ingredients, as well as our classic Itailian cuisine including our handmade pasta, freshly baked focaccia, and carefully cultivated selection of wines to compliment your meal.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing and the service was delightful. It's the kind of place you would recommend to anyone who asked but also want to keep all to yourself. It's been 11 years since I've been back to this restaurant and I loved the atmosphere and food. I had the crab carbonara and my wife had the bucatini.

The food is delicious, service was good and our waiter explained options on the menu patiently, ambiance is romantic, limited options for dinner on the menu (only four secondi), overall enjoyed the food and experience. Photos are steak (very good, though don't expect American style), chicken parmesan (good) and a margarita pizza (okay). One critique is they didn't bring us their bread before we ordered, maybe implies they didn't want us to eat bread and then leave? What were they thinking 🤔

Rinata is charming, the service is always great, and the food is generally good, but has a chef who really seems to just cook to their own tastes. Of the 20 entrees and appetizers on the menu at a recent visit, 17 contained pork or shellfish - items I can't eat for religious reasons - or olives and capers, a strong flavor that many people either love or hate. I still come here pretty regularly out of convenience, but it would be really nice to see them create a menu with a little more variety that can speak to more tastes, more options for vegetarians, or at least some suggested options for

10/10. I had take out a few times during the pandemic, but finally got to go in person last week. We were celebrating a friend with a large group and truly had an amazing meal! For apps we had the focaccia and olives and the eggplant involtini- so good! I'm vegetarian and had the summer special- corn ravioli. My dad is particular about steak and loves the hangar steak. Love Rinata!!

Nice place! Kinda fancy feeling, but not so fancy that it’s inaccessible. Prices are on the higher end, but appropriately so in my opinion. A great place for a nice dinner. There are no vegan options right off the menu, however they were able to make for us a vegan pasta dish with broccolini, cauliflower, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was delicious, especially the mushrooms! Everything from the bread to the roasted cauliflower, to the pasta, to the drinks were all delicious.
But do note that past sundown it is very dark in the restaurant. It was not an issue for us, but if you or someone you’re

What a hidden gem! I've passed Rinata a million times never realizing there was an unbelievable great Italian spot staring back at me. It's tucked in facing Hennepin next to the corner balloon shoppe with a handful of parking spots in a lot behind the restaurant.
The restaurant opens up to the hostess stand that divides three different seating areas each with their own feel and vibe so there's an area to please anyone whatever you're feeling. Plus has the ability to seat a large party it's very nice layout given it's not a huge space.

This place is cute and unassuming. The quality of food and service is excellent. They start you off with. Read and oil, but theirs has a delicate pile of smashed olives in the middle. I've not experienced this and it changed the boring bread to daaaaaamn! It's the simple things for me I suppose.
We had the ravioli and tagliatelle. Both were excellent. The ravioli was very rich, it paired better with the Chianti wine. Their cocktails are also on point, very well made by a bartender who knows their way around those beautiful bottles.
The quality of food warrants a location with a better

No complaints here. Made a reservation for Father's Day, we were seated promptly, drink orders taken and delivered promptly and food orders taken, and served within 10 minutes. The whole experience was almost too fast!
Smaller menu but that's ok because everything is delicious. Good drink selections too. Ambiance is great, it's a smaller more personal area, great for dates and special occasions. Wait staff was very nice and welcoming.

Got take out tonight and was soooo happy we did. The prosciutto pizza was on point with flavor and the salty goodness of shaved prosciutto. The spaghetti and meatballs were a comfort to hungry eyes. The sauce is a mellow balance of richness and not the usual acidic sauce you get. The meatballs are not to dense and very moist. Not overly spiced and complimented the mellow sauce. Big surprise was the tapenade that came with the focaccia loaf. By far the best tapenade I have come across and will be back to try more of their menu. Let's keep supporting these smaller restaurants who continue to

An excellent Italian restaurant with a great menu. The service is very good. The restaurant has a bar seating area if you are dinning alone or decided to go to the restaurant without a reservation. The appetizers are good, but I didn't care for the Marinated Olives. I recommend making a reservation. Street parking only. You can order food online.

Hands down the most delicious and authentic tasting Italian food I’ve ever had in MN! It is extremely rare to find a place with great quality and tasting food along with reasonable prices. I find that Italian food tends to be more on the expensive side, but not Rinata. I was incredibly shocked at how well priced everything was for how high quality everything was. And the service was just as amazing too! I went in for the Sunday date night special priced at $25 for four courses which includes bread/olive oil, an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. Every single thing I ordered not limited to

My wife and I came here for MSP restaurant week from Rochester. They had some selections that are not part of their usual menu. I'm not a huge critic of Italian food because I like everything pasta, but seeing that there were some Itallian speaking customers around us, that made us think this place must be legit.
They have complimentary bread (always a nice bonus) and a very friendly staff. We were able to try Tomato bruschetta, Eggplant ravioli, Canneloni, Risotto Bay scallops, Pizzaiola hanger steak, Rhubarb crostata, and Chocolate mouse cannoli, just for $35 each which was well worth it

This place was GREAT. It was a Saturday night, not too busy. We went on yelp and automatically got a table through open table. Great service and great food. Very fast. We had the meatballs for an app, they were the best meatballs i have EVER had! HIGHLY recommend. My dad had the chicken parm and loved it. I had the gnocchi but with fettuccine Alfredo and chicken.
This place is a MUST go to while here :)

My husband and I had driven past this place many times and didn't realize it was an Italian restaurant! We decided to go for a date night and they have a nice menu for $25 per person. We deviated from the date night menus and just ordered a few dishes. Their meatballs were delicious and everything is made in house! They split a ceasar salad for us, and I always appreciate that as we share a lot of dishes. We also ordered a margarita pizza. This was my least favorite dish, the crust was just too doughy and I just prefer them to be wood-fired and it seemed like this one was just baked in the

Went to Rinata for Restaurant Week and they were offering a very generous 4 course meal so we got a delicious taste of what Rinata has to offer.
Before we even got to the 4 course meal we were brought some delicious focaccia bread with oil and tapenade. It was fresh and amazingly delicious and I could have just eaten that all night. For apps we tried the bruschetta which was also topped with fresh ingredients and had excellent flavor from the caramelized onion. The pasta was all around amazing and everyone at the table enjoyed their pasta dishes. The standout was the duck ragu. The mushroom risotto

Came here with a friend for dinner during restaurant week. We had a reservation for 5:30 and the place opened a few minutes after. The ambiance was really nice. Would be a great date spot. Our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The place has a good number of vegetarian options, which was a plus.
Appetizer: the starter bread was absolutely delicious! Ordered the kale and bean soup, added some chili flakes. It was decent. Not the best soup that I've had, felt a little watery but good. My friend had ordered the bruschetta which was I really liked too!

Oh my! What a nice surprise! I have always wanted to come here and happened to see it on the restaurant week list for restaurant week FEB 2019. I am glad I got my fellow yelp foodie to join me for dinner this night.
Service: it was a little slow, but the restaurant was packed, so I'm not surprised. However, it was not unacceptable. Our glasses were promptly filled and the server seems knowledgeable of the menu. No over the top service, but it was good.
Food: I ordered the bruschetta, the braised duck rigatoni, the mushroom risotto, and the tiramisu.

We were able to make reservations through Yelp so it was easy to grab a table on a Friday night.
Started off with a glass of red wine - the Cashmere. I really enjoyed it and it paired very well with our pastas for the night.
The gnocchi comes with poached lobster. At first, I thought it was a strange mix of flavors but the more I got into the dish, the more I enjoyed it. The gnocchi was a filling entree.
The pappardelle seems to be a fan favorite. When we went, it was being served with bison. It was delicious!

Do you love garlic? If not, go away. If you're like me, there's no such thing as too much garlic.
The Shrimp Scampi Fettuccini was perfect. Six sweet shrimp tangled in homemade fettuccine. The pasta had that elusive chewy-yet-tender texture, slick with shrimpy garlicky sauce, made bright with the addition of tangy little grape tomatoes.
The Caesar Salad was perfect - sharp, very garlicky, balanced by that mysterious savory taste that comes from finely smooshing anchovies.
The Spaghetti and Meatballs had the proper long-stewed tomato gravy and two giant, soft meatballs. But
