We tried Laura's for the very first time and it was EXCELLENT! Fried zucchini tasted like they just picked it from their yard; breading was light and crispy! Soup was homemade and delicious! Pizza was made with care.. And their antipasta salad was generous with the perfect homemade salad dressing! We shared dessert; a Brownie that tasted like someone just baked it for us and cannoli that was delicious and surprisingly had chopped nuts on it rather than pistachios.
Best part was the staff! Very kind and gave us great servback!
A true gem in McKinley Park! We will be bsck!

Wonderful Mexican restaurant with modern take on traditional dishes. Beautiful space. Friendly service. We had the guacamole and empanadas to start. Everyone enjoyed the starters. Branzino tacos were tasty and well made. The pollo campestre with mole was excellent. Tender flavorful chicken and tasty rich mole sauce. Had the mezcal flight and seite misterios. Nice way to warm up for an enjoyable meal! Definitely recommend!

They claim Phil's up the street is the "best pizza in Bridgeport" psff Nope! Me and my family all agree, Laura's is where it's at. I live closer to Phil's but drive the extra distance to go to Laura's. I have not been disappointed yet. The crust is better, the seasonings-better. Oh and their garlic fries are delicioussss Heavy on the garlic so stay away from vampires. Go, enjoy, you're welcome!

This is our go-to place for pick up meatball and eggplant parmesan sandwiches (which are INCREDIBLE...😋), The fettuccine Alfredo is crazy great as well! The kids also love the Italian Lemonade's/Lemon Ice's...I have yet to try them...and EVERYONE is so nice!! And fun and funny! Stacey cracks me up every time I call(and at times I her...😁). It's kinda small, but cozy, and for this weekend ONLY The Original Rainbow Ice Cream truck will be there in their parking lot. I initially only wanted ice cream with the fam but ordered to-go as well. Great little neighborhood spot, friendly staff, clean

I was with some friend's and we wanted to grab lunch. We decided to try Laura's. I saw they had breaded steak sandwiches. So I ordered that then was I told they are out of that. So I decided on an Italian beef and cheese. The beef was good has some kind of spices in it the cheese sticks were ok as well. I will come back one day and try the pizza and give them another chance.

I was just introduced to this place 3 weeks ago by my coworkers. OH MY GOSH!!! We have ordered at least 2 times each week in the last 3 weeks. I have had the Italian beef sandwich with cheese, slice of sausage pizza and a meatball sandwich. AND NOTHING has disappointed me yet! And don't even get me started on the doughnuts! I had family visiting from Texas and when going back home from downtown Chicago I stopped there so they could have some Chicago pizza. They want me to send them some down to Texas when they get back home!

We stopped in one lunchtime to take away their pizza slice and donuts. Everything good. The donuts are a knockoff of Stans. Sausage pizza slice a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We ordered a second time, Italian combination and a gluten-free pasta with sides of shrimp and fried zucchini. The Italian combination came in a container which is my favorite presentation rather than wrapped in all kinds of paper and foil. It passed the test and was enough for at least two meals. The shrimp was perfectly done. The pasta was nicely cooked but not much seasoning. We'll be back to try more offerings

I work on the southside and our sit-down choices are limited. I just recently discovered this place and I highly recommend. I had planned to get a slice my first time, but their daily special was a Rueben, and it was amazing. To top it off, the waitress brought us two donuts (on the house) once we finished the sandwiches. Today I got my slice and it was huge. The crust had a nice chew and plenty of cheese and pepperoni. One slice should be enough for most folks. I am a big fan of cannoli, but i was too full, so I took one home. Made to order so they don't become soggy, and pistachios

Found this on a south side adventure and could see ourselves coming back on the way in from the burbs.
Loved loved loved the meatloaf and the lasagna. I know...odd combo but I picked one while hubby picked the other. Portions of both were generous...we made two meals out of them. Both also came with garlic bread.
Wasn't a fan of the Nutella pizza but I think that's more on us since we were about 10 minutes late picking it up and then we still had to drive home so we didn't eat for another 45 minutes from the time they said food would be ready. The concept of nutella pizza

My sister wanted to try something new so we decided to give Laura's a try after stumbling upon it. The Yelp reviews were mostly positive so we had high hopes that we'd find a solid new pizza place in the area.
We were impressed with the expansive menu and found the prices to be very reasonable. We ended up ordering a large pizza (only $16) with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. We also ordered the chicken tenders and fries as an appetizer. The food arrived very quickly (delivery)... I'd say less than 20 minutes. The delivery driver was wearing a mask (Covid) and was very pleasant. The

McKinley Park seems to be in a Bermuda Triangle for restaurant options. We've only got a handful so a new restaurant is always appreciated. I'm a born and raised Chicagoan and grew up with Pete's on the northside or Dino & Nick's, etc.
Laura's has great thin crust pizza. The sauce is tangy, the crust is the right thickness (not too thin and definitely not thick), and the cheese is good. It's not the cheap sour tasting cheese that some establishments use. It's also delicious reheated the next day.
I've ordered the same thing several times now and have

I've had Laura's twice now and great experiences both times! Most recently, I ordered early on a Friday (during COVID season) and had a standard 25 minute wait.
We got a jumbo pepperoni & sausage pizza. The first few pieces were INCREDIBLE. Still warm, excellent flavor, baked to perfection. The thin crust even had a great taste and crunch to it! As time went on, the pizza did get a bit greasier but the flavor overall stayed solid. We had some left over and it tasted great reheated in the air fryer!
We also got the tiramisu which had great flavor and texture. Unknowingly, we got

Update because I finally got my nutella pizza. We put in an order 4 days in advance. They said they only needed one day's notice, but we wanted to be safe. The pizza itself was good. It had a layer of nutella and fruit on top and one in the middle, which is layered by pizza dough. The inside fruit and nutella made it a little soggy, but overall it was good. I still don't know why it's on the menu without a disclaimer, as if you could order it on the spot.

Yelpers I am here to give an update to my prior review of Laura's Pizza and Pasta. Initially I gave them 2 Stars because of the Arancini and Linguine but TO MY CREDIT [as I waited for my less than pleasurable meal to be prepared and bagged up] I noticed that PIZZA and vowed to go back to check it out. Well being a Yelper of my word, I did, tonight, and I'm elated I did. Laura's has totally redeemed themselves with me and is soooo worthy of the 5 Stars I rated them.
I was feeling like pizza tonight, and what goes better with pizza [other than beer] than chicken wings. So in my

This place is fairly new. It's an Italian Pasta/Pizza/ sandwich/burgers small restaurant. They have a nice full menu.
The place looks nice but the White walls are so boring. I think a little paint will definitely make this place more welcoming.
I ordered the Penne with Vodka Sauce. It was okay. It lacked flavor. It needed salt and more seasoning. It was bland.
We also tried the PotRoast sandwich. This was good. It was tender and it had flavoring.
I'll go back and try other dishes. Hopefully they liven up the place and their food.

New welcome addition to the Bridgeport Restaurant scene, this one offering fast, but quality Italian food. There's space to eat inside, but I usually just get it to go. First time I went and got a thin sausage slice, and a hot dog. Second time I got an Italian beef/sausage combo sandwich. The combo was my favorite, it was huge, so much meat, though the bun did fall apart so just be weary. My friend also had this catered for a party, and I got to try the lasagna, salad, and peppers as well, all very good, and everyone must have agreed, as all the food was gone in half an hour. They have their
