I first tried AutoMax due to some good reviews on Google; I am among the good reviewers now. I've taken my truck several times to Frank and his team, and am very pleased each time. Nobody enjoys spending loads of money on repairs but they earned every cent. Dropping off my truck has been very convenient and simple due to the way they do business. When other issues were found that could be addressed while already in a problem area to save money, Frank would simply text a description with a photo and ask yes or no to proceed with a fix. I used to get my services done at a dealership...but I found Auto Max (a few months ago) by accident when the dealership could not fit me in. I'M SO GLAD TOO BECAUSE THESE GUYS ARE GREAT! Friendly and efficient. They call you back when they say they will...and keep their word...which it critical these days! They're a big business with a small town feel here in Canby.

We dropped our truck off for 3 repairs two weeks ago. Our tire pressure light was on for no reason, our winch had a broken pin and wouldn't retract, we needed new gas caps on our auxiliary tank. TWO WEEKS later, my husband goes to get the truck and the price was $430! We were quoted $250 and the only thing that is fixed is the tire pressure light. We won't be going back.

I want to commend Auto Max for great and honest Service. We moved to Canby in Dec and had to find a new local mechanic. I was selling a car and the buyer chose Auto Max to do a pre purchase inspection. They were honest and straight forward. I have since taken 3 other cars or ours there and there are prompt and honest. I had them look at things and 2 times they looked at it and never charged me, They Offered repair suggestions which included taking it to a specialist. A lot of shops are all about the money, these guys are honest and that means the world to me. I also love that they will text me

Bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT new in 2000. Engine failed at 274,000 miles. Had trouble finding a shop that would fix it. Called Auto Max in Canby. Bring it in they said! I wanted the original engine rebuilt. They quoted a price and time line. They did the job on time and at the price they quoted. They upgraded sensors, put in new hoses, cleaned the Fuel Injection. The people here are friendly and courteous. They pulled the engine out, sent it to an engine rebuild shop, kept me informed of the progress. The car runs like new! Just what I wanted!

Let me start by saying that anything automotive stresses me out. I would honestly rather light my car on fire and leave it where it died rather than take it to a mechanic. HOWEVER. I do love my car (2011 Chevy Equinox, not to brag) and due to my commute, she and I spend a lot of time together. Auto Max of Oregon was recommended to me via a friend. I was not dissappointed. As a new client I found their services exactly what I wanted. Very friendly, accomodating and straight forward. I was in need of some diagnostic work on my truck and got exactly what I wanted, along with suggestions and recommendations. All of my questions were answered.
