Got a recommendation from Hill Top Collision and couldn’t be happier. Gary was my initial point of contact and he helped me through the whole way. He was very personable and upfront about expectations. I needed a new joint assembly and he gave me price based options to consider and didn’t pressure me in any direction. He kept me updated on the progress and let me know when an issue came up, what needed to happen and how long it would take. I have two small children and when it was time to pick up my car, it was dark and I wasn’t comfortable walking the 3 miles with my them. So the team drove

Knowledgeable and helpful. Brought my car in for a 'find out what's wrong' inspection, and received a detailed breakdown of the issues they found complete with pictures and descriptions of the problem. Felt like they were looking for genuine issues, not just trying to drum up charges.

I have had one repair done at this shop since my initial review - and it did not go nearly as well as my first experience. I needed the rear disk brakes replaced on my SUV and they agreed to install EBC parts that I had provided. The service writer forgot to denote which end of my vehicle they should be working on so the mechanics pulled apart the front brakes. They then called to advise that replacement parts would not fit - this was quickly rectified when I reminded them what they should be doing. They also bent the lift point (front left) so every time I need to swap tires and wheels I get

Nice folks, and great communication. Not only did they keep me updated on the timeline, they went into great detail explaining what was going on. It was clear that they were doing everything they could to save me money where possible, and I liked that they prepared me for the worst case scenario bill-wise but came in under in the end. I really prefer that over a low ball estimate that is blown out of the water by the final bill. I will definitely be a return customer.

The service at Spark's is phenomenal. I have been taking my car there for a few years now and they always leave me impressed. I straddle two cities and it isn't always easy to let go of my car when I am there, so they have often gone to my apartment and driven my car to their shop to do maintenance. They managed all of the repairs and insurance issues when my car was hit and I wasn't able to be there to deal with that mess. Hans is especially lovely and consistently blows me away with his attention to detail and willingness to go way out of his way for me. These guys are the best

This was my first visit to Sparks.
I don't know anything about cars, so I searched on Yelp and chose to come to this shop based on reviews. I brought my 2012 Mazda 3 in to get my oil changed before moving to Arizona. Chris was very personable and honest. Not "pushy" as a lot of mechanics are. I felt comfortable being there and will definitely be back when I move back to Portland.

I loved this company until 5 minutes ago. I've taken my cars there three times now with great results, and one billing error. It was immediately and politely taken care of, big whoop. At 6:33 pm I get an unknown number call, answered just to have it hanging up in my ear. At 7:14 another one, this time it was some solicitor wanting me to do some frickin survey about my experience with them. If I want phone solicitations I'll start entering drawings. I don't, because I fricking DONT WANT THAT CRAP CALLING MY CELL PHONE! I'm so disheartened that they would do this crap to a loyal

I failed emissions last week & took my car into Sparks see what the problem was. I worked with Chris and he was very helpful explaining what the problems could be and the course of action needed. He let me know they would look at my car the next day and call me with the information and quote on price to repair.
I got a call the next day as promised but unfortunately the repairs were going to cost more than the car was worth so I didn't get the work done.
I'm very happy with my experience at Sparks. Chris was very professional and followed through with the time lines he laid out

I'm writing this review because this place is honestly as good as it gets when it comes to independent auto service. I brought in a Ford Ranger, looking for some advice on an airbag light. They pulled the code and helped me understand what it meant and, because it only took them a minute, they waived off any fee.
A few days later I called for some further advice on an issue with my Toyota 4runner and they were able to talk me through the options, pros, cons and costs before I even brought it in! The crew here is as helpful, honest, and straightforward as it gets. From on-top-of-it scheduling
