Services
Benny Rappa has been unique from the very beginning. He doubled majored in Construction and Restaurant Management. As one friend said, "so what do you plan to do, build a restaurant and run it"? Benny did just that along with his wife Michele. The former hotel chef decided to use his passion and skills to prepare authentic Italian meals daily in a unique way.

Intense and persistent aromas with hints of wild berries and wood from the barrels it is aged in. A savory, full-bodied chianti. Pleasant black cherry and spice aromas are reflected in its tart, sour cherry flavor shaped by tangy lemon-squirt acidity. Simple, but nice. Strawberry and cherry flavors are coupled with just enough citris to balance the natural sugars of the wine.

Food was tasty.
Restaurant has an extensive wine list of Italian wines.
The menus light up which is not only cool but make them easier to read in the dim lighting.
Service was fast, but the waitress, while very pleasant, was struggling a bit to remember our few requests.
Ordered a rum cocktail which frankly tasted like solvent...have never experienced that before. They replaced it with an alternate drink at no charge.
Will return, but not in a rush to do so.

Very friendly staff.. Eileena was delightfull. Food was top notch. I highly recommend the scallops. And the espresso martini. Better half recomends the lasagna and chocolate martinis. The atmosphere was a bit on the romantic side that we found pleasing.we will most likely return

Have only been to Myrtle Beach one other time. What we discovered that in the Fall a LOT of the restaurants close down. Was looking for Italian food a friend said Benny's is his go to place. Ate at the bar and was pleasantly surprised. Bartender gave us great service and the food (Lasagna was really good). Also had the mussels for an appetizer and they were great.

This is my brother in law and sister's fav spot when they are in Myrtle and brought me, my mom, and son. I really like the ambiance of the place. The menus light up which is a neat feature. We ordered calamari, 2 loads of bread (which you have to pay for), and mussels. The bread is the bomb. My mom ordered a scallop dish, my kid ordered shrimp scampi, me and my brother in law had the lasagna, and my sister had the veal. Main courses come with salad. I tried their homemade blue cheese dressing which did not disappoint at all!! I wanted to take some home with me lol. My mom and kid didn&apos

Having been to Bennies back in April and then for 2d time in Sep 2021, I would not go back to this establishment.

Service was extremely slow, but understandable.

Food quality was average at best. Mussels were small, sauce good.

You have to pay for the bread, really!!!!

Main entrees are static, no change and they are not very good.

Way over-priced and I will not go back.

Thank you

This was an INCREDIBLE meal. Great service (attentive and kind staff, and I’m from out of town!) and the food was phenomenal. I drove past this place and felt gravitated to the small Italian vibes the restaurant has. I ordered fried calamari which was the best I’ve ever had and the chicken alla vodka with roasted red peppers. Benny Rappa’s is on the same level as the best NJ/NY Italian spots I’ve been to. 10/10 recommend.

First of all - the food here is excellent & it’s the only reason they get any stars at all. But if you’re not one of the locals & you appear to be a tourist, be prepared for poor customer service. Waitress had the attention span of a flea - no silverware given, couldn’t get my order correct & never followed up on beverages or even the bill. The host had to remove our plates with his arm in a sling & then what appeared to be the owner or manager had to take our credit card. Received better service at the Arby’s down the street.

The best spaghetti and meatballs I ever had. VERY delicious food all around. You must make a reservation because they are always busy. You can tell they put a lot of love in their food. I was told their chef has been with them for 18 years. You must go.

Don't let the outside of the building fool you, older look and capacity inside feels like you are in someone's home. The food was pure quality , everyone bragged about what they ordered - Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, and Spaghetti & meatballs were amazing! Large portions and plenty of selections. The waitress explained the menu/board changes every night to highlight the specials of the day; however, the kitchen can still make all of the favorite Italian dishes you have come to love. Highly recommend!

Great dinner last night. Made chicken parm and penne a la vodka from scratch. Great lasagna and brisket ravioli too. Homemade desserts! Tiramisu and chocolate raspberry cheesecake are best we ever had. Great service too.

We appreciated being able to make a reservation with our large group. There was a daily menu available but you can also order "traditional" Italian dishes that aren't on the menu. Our waitress (Jessica?) was great and we got our food quickly. Good break from seafood at the beach.

My family has been going here for years, so I'm sad to see that there's been a recent decline in quality. Their garlic bread was absolutely DRENCHED in olive oil. The meat in my lasagna was dry and rubbery, and the clams my mother ordered were full of sand.

One of the best restaurants in Myrtle! Menu switches daily, but always plenty of options. Wine selection is hard to match. Service is great. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Have dinner here, you will thank me for it, I promise!

The food was excellent service was great we came in looking for item that were on a old Google post but we learned that the menu changes every week but they were fully willing to try to make up what we seen on the old menu. So we ordered something on the menu and was not disappointed this was a great meal. I will be back!!!

If possible ask for the waitress named Faith. She is 5 star like the Resturant.
The meal was excellent along with the service. A nice touch when the owner checked on us as we were enjoying our dinner.
This may be a little known gem to visitors. Please give it a try.

Great food, great people. Great friendly customers add to the atmosphere. With covid restrictions eating out has not been relaxing smaller Menus & sanitary measures has dampened the experience, Bennys keeps you safe following all the procedures but maintains the dining experience. Our first time there & will go back again & again. Calamari was PERFECT light crispy & tender. eggplant very tasty lots of cheese & gravy (yea I'm Italian from Brooklyn) but the veggie taste didn't get lost. Lasagna was good. I prefer more pasta & cheese to the gravy ratio but it was

Sadly visited this past Saturday and had a very disappointing experience compared to an October visit. Salads came out super cold and totally wilted with Italian dressing that was so sour! Bartender and kitchen didn't seemed to care! Meals tasted not fresh. Lasagne and pasta.
Won't be back.

We had just arrived in N Myrtle Beach and were planning on eating at another restaurant. That restaurant was closed, so we checked the area on Yelp. We had never heard of Benny's Trattoria, but Benny's has some great reviews and no waiting. We decided to give it a try... SO GLAD WE DID!!! We walked in and were knocked out by the ambiance. VERY CLASSY, but you do not feel out of place. The service is impeccable- Marissa was amazing! Her knowledge of the menu and the specials made our choices much easier. Faith also helped out- it was a great team! The menu choices were remarkable...

The food was decent. But I make better lasagna. A bit spicy. Sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Seafood cannoli was good. Service was good. And serving size was adequate. I was very surprised at the prices. More than 2$ symbol. Only 10 things on menu. Ranging from 18 to 38
