Adequate and convenient. Pas mal. But in the other hand not that good . Very simple low effort at a reasonable price but if you have the time, seek other options

It's definitely taken us way too long to try this place out as we live really close by. One of the main reasons is we hardly see any frequent.

We had a craving for Chinese so we gave it a go on a Sunday evening.

We called in the order (try to avoid third parties so businesses get all the funds), food was ready in 20 minutes as said, and we were able to use a credit card. The seamless experience is important nowadays!

We ordered a ton of food and know we will have leftovers for days. Huge portions.

Stands outs were combination mushu and shrimp and lobster sauce. Both items that you

I've never had anything bad here. It might not be the most amazing Chinese food, but we keep coming because the food is consistent and filling.

This rice had molasses or some sort of sticky shi**. I bought 2 items for $25. I came home and microwave it ate some earlier and the shrimp didn't taste right. Bruh, this ain't Asian hate, cuz I'm Asian. I really want to throw all these rice in their place of business. Oh yeah I threw it in the trash. I should've just went to safeway to get a sandwich. Also the pork chop didn't even taste like pork. I'm sorry but Chinese food might be used with pets. Also I'm Thai.

Service and Staff:
The staff here were kind and efficient. They all wore masks. Came here on a Friday around 12:30pm for lunch and the service and wait were quick. The outdoor seating is nice as the deck sits on the water. The deck is also shared with the neighboring restaurants.

Food:
We ordered two lunch specials (lunch specials come with soup and salad). One was a fish and vegetable dish and one was a sweet and sour chicken dish. It wasn't the best Chinese food ever, but both dishes were good. The fish had a nice pepper seasoning and came with plenty

The food here is generally very tasty. The sizzling beef platter has outstanding flavor and a decent amount of protein. Clay pot supreme is also an excellent tasting dish, especially if you like steamed tofu, broccoli, and bok choy. The fried wontons were inadequate and not a selection we would do again. The service is outstanding, and the views are excellent from the windows overlooking the bay farm lagoons.

This was the second time I gave this place a shot thinking maybe it tasted bland last time because I asked for no msg, nope.

I got the chicken chow mein and the potstickers. The chow mein was bland and only had like 6 little pieces of chicken in it. The potstickers were super doughy, with very little filling, also not flavorful.

One thing is, they're consistent, consistently bland. It's like they're trying to save money and still charge for a normal dish.

One of our favorites. Mu Shu is always so fresh. Szechuan beef is delish. Hot and sour soup is so good! Chow mein is wonderful! Nice staff.

Let's set some context. I'm Chinese. I've had a lot of great Chinese food. I've also had Panda Express and enjoy that from time to time too.

I came for lunch and ordered the lamb with green beans with chow mein. The green beans were cooked just like I like them - flash fried for that slightly crunchy texture. It was served with some chunks (why?) of minced garlic and a little sauce. There wasn't much lamb, but the pieces that were there were fine. I hate when people generalize Chinese food and say it's greasy, because it's not that way when it's done well

This is my go-to place for Chinese. The food is always good; fresh ingredients, balanced flavors; nice portions. And the staff is awesome! I've been coming here for years, I'm happy they have survived 2020.

Food is good. My kid likes BBQ pork appetizer and wife likes hot sour soup. Their food aren't like chef's wok or other Chinese restaurants; it is more similar to home make food. But it is tasty.

Ordered take out through grub hub. Restaurant is open for take out. I enjoyed the flavor of the food. Pot stickers were a little dry and didn't have too much flavor but the rest of my order was quite tasty. The restaurant is very clean and the service was a good experience. I think it was worth the drive from Hayward to Alameda.

COVID REVIEW

Now featuring Cantonese dining, China Villa has a large covered patio with a view of a lagoon that could be pretty nice for outdoor dining. Unfortunately, the time we went, it was cold and windy, so we got take out instead. I'd say half our dishes were good.

The patio is pretty nice and has potential if they put some plants and heat lamps and made an effort to make it look and feel nice. Instead, it was a bunch of tables pulled out from the restaurant and that was it. Zero ambiance.

It would be a lot safer for take out if they moved the cash register closer to the door

This place is our go-to Chinese in alameda. The duck is incredible. Highly recommend it. It's lovely to sit on the water and have a nice dinner or order takeout. We also loved the green beans.
Check it out if you are ever in bay farm!

I'm always a little bit sus of Chinese restaurants I walk into with super "oriental" (I'm using that ironically) looking decor but all white people dining inside (does anyone feel me on this?) But the waiters and service people were Asian so I was like okay this restaurant could be a toss-up.

And it wasn't bad at all! I did laugh at how the name of the restaurant is imprinted on all of the plates and bowls.

Came here with a party of 4 on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm (Mother's Day), there were probably 15 other people in the restaurant.

China Villa is an authentic, delicious, and healthy (ie no MSG) Chinese restaurant! My Chinese relatives love it!

Nearly every seat is a water view, and it has gorgeous woodwork!

Some favourites:
- Dumplings
- West lake soup
- Mu Shu Pork

if you are feeling sick: order take out of the hot and sour soup!

It's the best deal: 2 containers of soup for about $10 total!!

One of our friends recommended this restaurant as it is in her neighborhood and 10 minutes from our church. So since it was rainy day, I wanted some comfort food and was looking for hot soup! So we decided to give this place a try. When we walked in, it was bustling with two big parties so that was a good sign. We got seated in another room, away from the noise which was good as dude can't relax when it is noisy. We sat near the window and there is a lovely view of the water. Parking is free and the restaurant is located next to La Val's.

We ordered the combination crispy chow
