Excellent service. Staff friendly snd helpful. Always check if everything ok. Thai food is fresh and great tasting. I always bring leftover home because give too much Thai noodle. This is my favorite placr to eat and enjoy!!! Today had Chicken Pad See Ew Noodle. Great tasting friendly service. I lived in Thailand for many years and Monkey Thai Southshore is best Thai food in East Bay!!

I wanted to try a new Thai place and since I was around the area doing some grocery shopping this place seemed like a good fit. I was super excited when I looked st the menu to see a couple dishes that I haven't had before. I decided to order the silkworms as an appetizer because I haven't tried them, I have had crickets before so I figured it would be similar. They had a really interesting sauce on them that made the flavor really pleasant, but they were a little gritty on the inside so the texture was a little weird. We tried the chicken satay and the drunken noodles with chicken. Chicken satay was well seasoning, came with 5 skewers, the drunken noodle has that extra spiciness - which I love - the kick. Thai ice tea was delicious and rich.
I loved that they have outdoor sitting and allow me to dine with my dog, they got her a bowl of water too, great service. Unlike the Italian restaurant nearby that have outside sitting but don't allow dog - that's fine, they don't need dog's parents business, we take our business elsewhere.
I love the location of this Thai restaurant, it a short walk to the beach, so next

Came around at 3 on Friday was thinking tried their lunch combo serving 12-4. When asked the guy he said no more so I order something else then few minutes later a couple came n sat to next my table n they order from lunch combo menu 😤. The food was ok nothing special so I just left $2 tips even I disappointed. So this was the first n the last my visit

The food was excellent. Our family ordered and shared. The drink were cold the food was nice and hot! The service was excellent they even took pictures for us. We had a scoop of ice cream all around for Dad and toasted. Lovely experience open late. I would also like to add they make there curry thick 😍 I got medium spicy it was 👌. Next time I might try hot. There spring rolls are so crispy and fresh! Also everything including the flowers on your plate are edible. Classy. I am happy we ate there and not ordered in the atmosphere was just what we needed.
