Selecting the proper motor oil for your specific engine is crucial to provide proper lubrication. Proper lubrication is important to minimize engine wear and thus increasing engine life, increasing fuel mileage, and maintaining engine warranties. At Joe's Auto we use only the best quality semi-synthetic and full synthetic oils, and no recycled oil.

The only reason I give a 2 star is because they actually do the correct servicing to your vehicle. However, the customer service is terrible. Every time I go in the guy is rude and talks down to me like he has some kind of god complex. For example the other day I called the store to schedule and appointment and they were busy so they took my info and said they would call me back shortly. I waited and hour and no call. So I called back politely to see if maybe they forgot, and the guy who's always rude answers and said "yeah we said we're gonna call you just wait." Wanna guess

Showed up on time for my 930am oil change. They didn't get my vehicle into the garage until after 10am. I waited in the lobby because there isn't any other place around there to wait. I ended up getting my vehicle back around 1110am. Will probably take my business elsewhere for my next oil change.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Joe's Auto Glendale since moving to the valley 3 years ago. Have spent quite a bit of money with them on a number of services and normally their work has been excellent.
Just recently had A/C replaced for $1900 and 3 year warranty on 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. Got the car home and the interior hood latch was broken.
They had replaced this interior hood latch before for me a year or so ago because of it failing through no fault of their own.
However, this time they clearly broke it while replacing the A/C.
I expected them to make things right because

Honestly, this place has made some major improvements. It’s under new management and they have coupons for all kinds of different services for your car. I walked in without the coupon and they still offered it to me. 💯 they are the real deal. Good quality work by the technician in a timely manner. Thanks guys. We came to Joe's Auto out of frustration of dealing with car issues and they were a close neighborhood business to support and I'm so glad that we did! Tim the manager is awesome and worked through several car problems we had in two different vehicles. One of which 3 other shops in town could not pinpoint the problem including a "specialty" shop in the area of concern - Tim's mechanic Tom spotted the problem within minutes of being in the shop! They were professional, up front and seemed genuinely concerned about each of the repairs they completed. Happy to give a business

Had major electrical problems in the airbag/seatbelt areas with a 2008 Jeep Liberty. I can't believe the service and the extra work that Jake did to save me money by locating parts from other sources. The time and effort that David took doing the repairs the correct way is very much appreciated.

I wasn't going to review them, but they sent me a card and requested it. I have been using Joe's Auto for years, but not any longer. I took the car in because it was overheating (the fans weren't turning on). Two fan relays, a thermostat and two radiator hoses with labor was over $900! The parts cost a hundred and fifty bucks, the rest was labor. I always assumed I would have to go to prison to be screwed like that, but I was wrong. I just had to go to the mechanic.

Can’t tell you how impressed I am by these guys. Made an appointment to have my AC “refilled” and went today. Have a car that is new to me and seemed to be running out of cold air, Tim and his colleague (sorry too far away to read your name) checked it over, gave me a synopsis then test drove it to make sure. They returned with the explanation… that the Air was cold and if I avoid the auto setting it should provide plentiful available air conditioning.

Had an appointment at 8:30 for a full synthetic oil change and was back on the road in less than an hour. I had the Groupon which was just shy of $40 and did end up paying $29 on top of that, but that is typical when you get such a good deal on an oil change (mine is usually $90-$100 elsewhere). Some of the reviews claim that people felt taken advantage of because they paid an extra $10 or $15 on top of what the Groupon was, but keep in mind you are not only paying for oil and supplies but you are also paying for experience and time. I don't feel these guys should be getting a 1 star review

Went in for a Groupon to check on my AC and get an Oil Change. Worst mistake ever, I really wish I would have checked the reviews here before going in, because now I can see I am not the first this happened to. I was told everything was great and no leaks and it would get me through the summer. One month later, the air is blowing hot, so I bring it… in and now I have a leak and need a whole new kit and it will be $1200. I was then told the AC may work occasionally, they topped of the Freon, and good luck. The first time I turn on my AC the system locks up, the battery light turns on and

On arrival, no one was there to greet since the only one assistant of shop was busy on a call. But I was addressed quickly. Groupon request was honored as well. By 10:25 AM , I had my car back. Along with oil change they did inspection and gave me 4 services which I can take, out of which one was rear pilion leak. He even took me to the service area to show the leak. Everything was just a suggestion and no one forced to do anything

My 2001 Ford Escape leaked oil like crazy and had smoke coming out of the tail pipe. With well over 200,000 miles I expected the worse. I had same day detailed list of problems and my car was ready in about two days. They could have suggested thousands more in work. Oil had gotten literally everywhere because my engine had been overfilled. That… meant extra pressure in the engine and possible leaks. Anywhere except Joe's, you can pay less for an oil change and they complimentarily top-off all fluids.
This would be an excellent location for an Oil Can Henry's or now called "Valvoline Instant Oil Change"; where you receive full-service. You can sit in the comfort of your own vehicle and be given complimentary coffee/water while the employees work as a team to provide the best customer service that's actually worth mentioning.

I went here to get my transmission fluid flushed I have a car that is basically brand new, 40,000k miles. After the service my transmission was grinding. Turns out joes auto only filled my trans fluid half way as I took it into my dealership the next day and they said it was 3 quarts to low. There are no leaks, On the receipt they state… transmission issues are not due to service. Actually it is because you purposely did not fill it up all the way thinking you would get a 6,000 bill from me. You guys are crooks DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY WILL DO ANYTHING THEY CAN TO MESS IT UP!! You

Got my pile changed, tires filled and a tire rotation done. Everything took about 2 hours but they were the only ones able to fit me in on a Saturday. So i wasn't complaining. Had a friend pick me up to get lunch and got back 5 minutes before the car was done. Nice staff from what i got to talk to. Would recommend!

Really disappointed in management and the way my situation was handled. I spoke with the employees two times about installing auto start on my vehicle, I gave them the make and model and they said it could be done. So I made an appointment and they decided day of that it was something they couldn't do! They didn't call to cancel my appointment or give me any options. They didn't even take responsibility for their lack of scheduling and communication. I would not go back here because clearly they don't care about new customers that come into the shop.

Once again Joe's auto has come through for us after being completely mislead at another auto repair facility.
Original estimate of repair was almost 3k with the vehicle being out of commission for a week.
Joe's got the repair done in 3 hrs for less than $600.
It really makes me wonder how Joe's has only 3 stars and the 'other' place has 5 star rating.

Went to have my car estimated at Joe's Auto Repair they quoted me $1,900 to replace a clutch they said the part would cost almost $800 looked it up on Google the part cost 175 to 250 at the most and Google said the average cost would be 500 to 700 to repair I would not recommend this place they were way too high on what they were trying to charge have a good day

I went in for an A/C tune up and was told I needed brakes too. Normally I would have been skeptical but, I did some price checking and found I was being offered a very fair price with their monthly specials. Ask about these! Plus, I hadn't had my brakes replaced in years. When I got my car back, my A/C was 100% better - better than new even. My car no longer squeaked when I backed up and the new brakes felt amazing. $275 for new front brakes and A/C isn't bad at all. Staff (Nick?) was friendly, thoughtful, timely and understanding of my schedule.
