Great staff, everyone was friendly caring and took the time to make sure I understood what work is needed as well as answered any questions. They are willing to help work with me to knock out some of the extensive dental work needed and the showed great compassion. This place and the staff were completely amazing! I chipped a tooth while at work on my lunch break and they were able to fit me in same day to get it fixed because I was totally stressing out about it. Every single person I spoke to and interacted with, from the front desk, to the doctor and all of the assistants, were extremely friendly, which helped with my nervousness. I saw Dr Sanchez, who was not only kind but very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! I didn't have any waiting time from the minute I walked in to the office to the end of my appointment. The dental hygienist who helped me, Casey I believe was his name, was very caring and professional. He ensured I was comfortable the whole time, answered any questions I had, and explained the process along the way. I don't love going to the dentist, but this was such a pleasant experience that I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

I recently moved and needed a new Dentist. I have to admit I'm a bit dentistry work phobic, but I'm so Happy I found Tempe Smiles! From the beginning, Billy, she was professional, courteous, friendly, compassionate, and very attentive with EXCELLENT customer service! Everyone went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, then earnestly listen to and addressed any fears or concerns I had. Nima is AMAZING! Usually I have a slight headache after cleanings, but he is very gentle, advises progress during treatment and is very meticulous. Dr. Sanchez is VERY thorough and explains his diagnosis concisely

The people here are always so nice!! I am always terrified of the dentist and have been since I was little but when I express this, everyone is so reassuring. Very clear about what's going on and the reception is super kind as well. I've never had any issues between my cleanings or filling cavities! I have pink and purple hair and sometimes going to appointments it feels kinda strange. I've never felt this way at Tempe Smiles, everyone is just insanely nice and genuinely cares about their clients! Highly recommend this place.

First of all, Dr. Burke and Amina are amazing. Unfortunately, they work with administrative staff that don't make their talents sing. The staff openly boasts that they are happy vaccinations haven't been mandated for Doctor's offices. . comforting.Â
You will wait at least 45 minutes in the waiting room. You will wait at least 10 minutes until anyone actually x-rays you once you are in your seat. You will NOT receive a $49 intro fee. You will be asked to agree to additional services while they are in the middle of service - ie in the middle of

Do not go here. I had a tiny cavity and the doctor filled it. After about 2 months or so i went back because i was in a huge amount of pain. (i went back 3 more times in the time of a year) I couldn't chew on that side at all and it would ache all the time. I had absolutely perfect teeth before this too. The filling the doctor put in was WAY to big and (2 years later) caused my tooth to crack in 1/2. NOW i have to get a crown and pay with my own money for something they did!!!! I take extreme pride in my teeth and now i have to have something fake put in my mouth. i am extremely angry.

Absolutely a waste of time. Had me come for a tooth extraction. After having me come in do x-ray decide to take it out Billie receptionist comes back and says it will be 320$ out of pocket. Mind you I asked in advance about my insurance which pays for the extraction itself. She proceeds to tell me they won't do it unless I pay the out of pocket 320$ for all the extra stuff they "wanted" to do after my tooth was removed. Ridiculous they knew I just had a baby and my situation. They refused to pull the tooth itself w the insurance covering the cost of the extraction which was 82.00

I had been a patient at Sunwest Dental for many years. Then I was transferred to a different one of their locations called Tempe Smiles. Unfortunately, my favorite hygienist, Melinda, no longer works there. Neither does Dr. Shah, which is a good thing. I have mostly been there for check ups and cleanings and an occasional filling. I have been disabled for many years and have been unable to afford the major dental work that I've needed for a long time. I applied for Care Credit recently and got it. Billie, the office manager, is very unethical. She acted like she knew everything about

I had the very best dental experience today. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and informed. Lynne the hygienist was amazing.. very friendly.. informative.. and knowledgeable. Dr. Caldwell was the exact same.. and was able to fit me in right then for some extra work I needed done. Everyone was so nice and efficient. I highly recommend this family dental office. So happy to have found them for my dental care.

I took my 16 year old daughter to get her 6-month cleaning today, and by the time I walked out of the door, I was given a treatment plan for $1800 worth of dental work. I have been taking my daughter to Tempe Smiles since 2011; the treatment that we received today and the manner in which it was delivered was borderline callous, & made me feel like less than a valued patient. Never mind the fact that they just dumped $1800 worth of repairs in my lap, they had very little regard as to whether or not I could even afford it, and wanted me to get the treatments started immediately. Dr Smith and team are AMAZING. I've never had such peace of mind dealing with a dentist. Their communication is fantastic! I got a phone call to let me know they were running late one time so that I would know I didn't need to leave work as early. They discuss the level of numbness to expect and where so they can adjust so I didn't FEEL the drilling like I have with other providers. Love them!!!

Such a terrible customer experience. I had appointment on 02/12/19 at 9am. Due to my very limited availability, i scheduled this appointment to secure morning slot two weeks before the appointment. A week ago I returned the call I received from dentistry and found out that my appointment pushed to 1pm the same day. No explanations and apologies were provided. Another morning slot was available only on the 25th of February (almost two weeks after initial appointment) and almost a month later since my initial conversation. At this point I said it doesn't make any sense for me to wait another

I went to Tempe Smiles because my original dentist couldn't get me in for a much-needed root canal until December. I called ahead and Bobbi was SO helpful, just a wonderful way to start out my experience with someone who was kind, knowledgeable, and was able to get me a same-day appointment! When I came in I was welcomed warmly, and every step of… my visit was comfortable. Melinda took my x-ray, Kelly and Dr. Smith did INCREDIBLE work with the root canal; I barely felt anything at all, and Dr. Smith made sure I was plenty numb before continuing when I did feel a little bit of pain. Sarah's thorough but gentle cleaning always makes me feel like I've been to a spa! All of the staff members at Tempe Smiles are friendly and professional. I’m a new patient here but I had a super friendly, welcoming and even calm experience with every single person here from the moment I called. I get super anxious about going to the dentist because of past traumatic and painful experiences (at a completely different dentist). But this office here knew how to make me feel comfortable and ease my… anxiety. I didn’t even have much pain after my root canal. Somehow Dr. Smith managed to be gentle... you read that right, on a ROOT CANAL. Dr Thomas was also gentle when prepping and making me a queen and giving me my well deserved crown

My younger brother went to get his temporary refill done to permanent, he ended up having 5 refills done without knowing anything until it was over. No treatment plan was discussed before the doc start the work.
He went with no pain before the visit and had a sever pain for more than 10 days after the visit
