As a young adult, he was involved in a car crash that left him stranded cashless across state lines, inevitably forcing him to work side jobs and study car repair as a way to fix his vehicle to get back home in Franklin, TN. I've heard their advertising for years on 997WWTN. So i thought that this must be a legitimate business, right? Wow, was I wrong. Take their advertisements and imagine the opposite. I called to verify that they take drop in assessments....nope, with the holidays, I was told to make an appointment days in advance. I made a waiting appointment. I dropped my vehicle off the night before thinking it would be more efficient. WRONG AGAIN. After waiting for hours on the day of my appointment, I finally called and was told they were now bumping me to the next day. I had to argue to try to get them to honor

I thought I was going to like this place, but am disappointed to say that I am not going to be trusting them with my car again. I have taken my car to be serviced here three times now. First time was for leaking hoses for the radiator, second time comes around and looks like we've got more leaking hoses and radiator issues, don't know how this was missed the first time. On my second visit I was told my car would be ready in two days, this however turned into a week as they kept adding reasons as to why they had to keep delaying the repair. For some reason they will not give any sort of estimate

I took in my 1991 Jeep Wrangler to address a stalling issue. I mentioned to the service writer that my fuel filter was also leaking, and I wanted that replaced. I also asked for the parking brake to be adjusted. Two days later, I got the call that the vehicle was ready. When I arrived, they informed me that they were "unable to reproduce" the stalling issue, so nothing had been done to fix it. They had, however, replaced the fuel filter and adjusted the parking break. I declined additional diagnostics at the time, and paid my bill. I got in the car, and it stalled out on me before

This place is amazing! I called on a Monday afternoon and they were able to get me in that same day and finished it by Thursday. (For reference, the Ford dealership couldn't even get me in until Friday.
The entire staff was very professional and easy to talk to. The manager Tracy kept me updated through text the entire time. She let me know as soon as she had an ETA for when the repairs would be complete and pickup was a breeze.
They definitely earned my trust and I will be back for any future repairs that I need.

Brought my car in for possible power steering issues. Turns out, needed WAY more than that! The folks at AutoFix communicated each step of the way even waiting on the repair until a full diagnosis was complete(thinking the total repairs would be more than the value of the vehicle). Long story short, they did the right thing instead of gauging me for the initial $1,500 then leaving me stuck with repairs I couldn't afford. Super grateful for their honesty. They have earned all my business going forward!

I had my tires rotated yesterday and everything seemed fine until I started hearing a crazy noise and vibration. I went back in today and told them what was going on and they didn’t have a tech available to look at it (that’s totally fine, I didn’t have an appointment today so I’m not upset about that) but when I described what was happening, they said it was normal to feel and hear vibrations after a tire rotation. I don’t know anything about cars so I said cool, thanks and I left. I told my husband about it and he went to check it out...turns out 4 of the 5 lug nuts on my drivers side

Took my car there for fixing the AC that stopped blowing cold. Got there at 8am and they called me back at almost 1pm to tell me I just needed refrigerant, then called me back at 4pm to tell me I also needed a new condenser because mine was bent very visible and supposedly had a huge hole (don't know how they missed that the first time) so they finished at around 5pm and picked it up just to realize it still wasn't blowing cold and compressor had big trouble engaging, almost to the point it was almost turning off the engine due to low rpms. took it back immediately and while waiting for the technician

The team at AutoFix literally took me in as a walk-in 10 minutes before they closed to inspect a car I wanted to purchase for my teens. They took approximately an hour of their own time to inspect the car from top to bottom. They were completely professional and gave me a full report. They found two issues with the car that there is no way I would have even noticed. Because of that, the dealer took care of the issues right away and now I know for a fact that my kiddos are driving a perfectly safe vehicle. I believe the charge for this service was $130!! They are, in my book, the absolute best.

Our vehicle, 2012 GMC Acadia, had AC malfunction, and the traction-control switches on/off automatically. Both issues happened about two months ago, but the car was perfectly drivable. We were looking for a new vehicle and was planning to trade the car in, but first wanted to take it to the Autofix to see if it is worth fixing. The shop called with a quote of that we could not afford. We told them that since we are planning to trade this car for a new one, we will not fix it and the car is not worth that amount. Seems Very honest and trustworthy Auto Service Repair. Very friendly staff . Had a warning light on the dash. Was told it was a simple repair so I agree to the repair . the next day warning light is back. Hmmmm. I received a text message regarding my experience. AutoFix has been my lifesaver. Brand new in town, made a mistake and bought a used car private party that I was told was running great and needed no work (it drove great on the test drive!). I got screwed. Within 48 hours it had a massive coolant leak and dumped the entire coolant reserve tank. Took it to AutoFix and discovered a it needed a water pump. $275 for the whole job. I even called my old shop I used back in CA for curiosity and they quotes me $575 for the same job.
Fast forward to about 5 days later, my check engine light appears. Took it back it and it was throwing 5 codes! Bad news

My car started acting funny last night and then today, on the way to take my baby to an appointment, it wouldn't turn on. I finally got it started about about 15 tries and headed straight to AutoFix. They fit me in immediately, identified the problem quickly, and fixed it for FREE! Seriously... It's still sinking in! All of the employees were incredibly friendly and the Manager, Branch, was so helpful. It was a quick and wonderful and experience... And the baby and I even made it to our appointment on time. It's really about the fixes they didn't do. My issue is minor electrical and hard to replicate. They said it's possible to do an expensive electrical diagnostic because there are literally 100 miles worth of wires in a car. Instead they told me to wait and see if the issue worsens and not to waste my money. Definitely built trust with me. I'm now moving my oil

If you want your vehicle serviced by professionals with integrity, then Auto Fix of Franklin is the place to go. Branch Atkisson and his service team have been wonderful to work with. In the past, I had taken our Saab to Euro Fix, which is also owned by Aaron Stokes. I now have two Chrysler vehicles and was very pleased to learn that Auto Fix was coming to Franklin, TN. The Franklin facility services both foreign and American made cars.
I've dealt with many dealerships and service garages over the past 50 years and Auto Fix is definitely the "cream of the crop". Free estimates

After several disappointing visits at a dealership, I went in search of a local place in hopes of an honest opinion. No one likes dealing with vehicle maintenance or issues, but if you have them, this is the place to go. I have used area dealerships as well as independent repair shops for oil changes and auto repairs for our four cars. I learned over the past 15 years to lower my expectations when it comes to anything automotive. Over priced, had to take it back for the same repair, grease on steering wheel and seats and the list goes on. That is until now as we stumbled on a repair business that actually cares about their customers, doesn't gouge you and stands behind their work. We're brand new to the area and were in need of a mechanic. It's always hard finding a trustworthy mechanic, but ladies and gentleman, I've managed to find one on my first attempt.
Not only was the problem fixed same day, the cost was less than I assumed it would be, it was done right, and followed up with an impressive car wash - my car hasn't sparkled like that in a long time!
Branch was friendly, knowledgable, and took his time explaining what needed to be done.

Fast friendly service. Followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I felt comfortable with the diagnosis, work was completed on time with no surprises. Warm cookie and a washed car just added to my satisfaction.
I hate getting my car serviced because I always feel cheated. Not so with Auto Fix. The manager Branch even took me to meet the mechanic who worked on my car. I have been back for additional service and do not plan on going anywhere else.

This is the only place to go to get car work done! They are honest quick and have reasonable pricing. They give hotel like service for all their customers, they have drinks and snacks in the waiting area and the shop stays clean enough to eat off of. Branch the manager is a great guy and really makes auto repair enjoyable somehow. Who knew that was possible! Highly recommended don't go anywhere else.
