Services
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist deeply committed to helping people improve the quality of their lives and to find a sense of well-being. I work with a range of clients, with a special emphasis on those age 50+. I work with individuals, couples and families who are searching for help navigating life's complexities.
Providing individual, couples and family counseling, with (special emphasis on those 50+.) I offer private practice setting sessions, phone sessions (after the initial session in person), and concierge services for those clients who may be homebound. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and anxiety, grief counseling, life transitions, to couples counseling and beyond.
My practice involves a special emphasis on those age 50+. In addition to my MA in Clinical Psychology and LMFT licensure, I am also certified through Boston University's Center for Aging. I enjoy working with seniors, caregivers, and/or family members who may be adjusting to special needs of elders.
I am not a provider for health insurance plans. I do not communicate directly with any insurance companies. Services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, therefore I am happy to provide you with a "Super Bill" (verification of services), which you may submit to your insurance company for any direct reimbursement to you.
We can become caregivers suddenly, without warning--a husband is diagnosed with cancer, a child is in an accident or a parent has a stroke. Other times, caregiving creeps upon us--we notice Mom is forgetting things, so we slowly take on the task of more duties to help her manage and live independently.
