Mr. Smolich earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Santa Clara University in 1982. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1985. He became a member of the State Bar of California in 1985 and he is a certified specialist in the area of workers' compensation.
Mr. Smolich earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary's College in 1988. He later obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in 1992. This educational background created the basis for Mr. Smolich's current legal practice. After becoming a member of the State Bar of California in 1993, Mr. Smolich also sought out a certified specialty in the area of workers' compensation.
Logan R. Willer is an associate attorney with Smolich and Smolich who specializes in Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability. He is a lifelong resident of the Sacramento area where he lives with his wife and two children. Prior to his admission to the California State Bar, he served as a Workers' Compensation Paralegal and Hearing Representative for over fourteen years representing injured workers.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with this firm Rob called me personally talk to me for a while got all my information I dealt with the legal assistant after that and she was great they said it would be 3 to 6 months before I got anything from Social Security this was in February 2020 by the end of March 2020 I had my first check I cannot tell you how impressed I am and how compassionate this law firm is I am so grateful for them. And they were very inexpensive they did not go crazy on charging me For the phone calls the emails and all the contact that I had with them. I would highly recommend

I suffered major injuries from a fall. I was declined SSD two times. I contacted Smolich and Smolich and they took my case. I won my appeal in front of the administrative law judge! Wow, I felt like I was a criminal on the witness stand. I had called to get a consultation. Was asked some questions that I could not answer. I was told to call back when I received the documents that I needed. A few days later I called back and gave them the info that they needed. Then this lady started asking a barrage of question. I kept telling her that I didn't know, that I would have to look it up. She said just guess. So I guessed. The questions were coming at me so fast that my mind just went blank. Forgot so many details. Then she said that they could not help me due to lack of care

Smolich & Smolich did a great job for me. Attorney Roopen Parekh answered all my questions during my client intake interview. Case Manager Brittney was always available by email or phone to answer my questions as my case moved forward. All my friends said I could process my SS application on my own but I wanted a safety net - that is the service Smolich & Smolich provided and I am glad they did.

Doesn't he seem so caring and helpful on their commercial? Well that is not really how the office and personel are there. They only want cases that you can settle with Social Security on your own, quick and simple.
Karla screens the potential clients and if you don't fit their very tiny mold, "sorry, we are not interested in your case".
It's not about hard working people and wanting to help you, that's not who they are at all. Look for an attorney that's not on TV.

This firm was recommended by my ex-husband, so I took a chance they could help me with my disability. They took my information, and said they would contact me in 48 hours if they could accept my case. Well they contacted me the next day with clear instructions on the information I needed to forward to them. I had very favorable results with this law firm, in particular Mr Roopen and his assistant Brittany. They were upfront from the beginning about the government timeline and the process that they were taking on for me. And knowing this, it did not stop me from bothering them frequently about my disability status. They were always professional and returned calls promptly- if they were unable to answer every call. I was on the verge of giving up when I applied for disability cause they keep n denying me. One time, I was on my way to my doctor's office and I got lost and saw Smolich office. Called them, made an appointment, and surprisingly, Roopen a fellow Canadian

Wow, wish I had read the feedback first as this would have saved me time and frustration. I never had an opportunity to even talk with an attorney after talking with the receptionist (screener). The only reason they're not getting one star is that I finally received some form of communication in the mail. Received a letter that they will Not be able to represent me on that matter at this time. Really sound like and appears to be a generic letter. Oh in closing it state "Dictated but not read to avoid delay". So gotta asked are these the kind of attorneys you want to represent you
