Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii Stan was a child of the ocean. His passion for the waves led him to a career as a professional bodyboarder which transitioned into the creative space of capturing the beautiful moving ocean through photography and film. Now living in Orange County, California Stan is a published photographer with more than 15 years of experience.

A preset is a saved setting either in Adobe LightRoom or Phase One Capture One Pro which can be easy applied to an imported image to instantly achieve the desired look. These presets can include a predetermined white balance, shadows, and highlight effects, tones, curves, and even sharpness and noise reduction.
Stan teaches a wide variety of photography workshops from the beginner all the way to the experienced. Stan is also an official JOTR permit and guide card holder for Joshua Tree national parks. These classes are designed to help you take your photography and digital editing skills to the next level.
