Born in the midst of the monsoon season, overcast skies and stormy weather became my first elemental friends. As I started walking and talking I learned both English and Hindi, first at home and then in school. Transitioning readily between the languages made me adaptable early on in life, as did being surrounded by people of various backgrounds, faiths, and even ethnic groups.
Each wedding collection includes a venue walkthrough, high-resoluion digital images, and a shareable online gallery. Engagement sessions may only be booked as an add-on to wedding coverage. Each session comes with professional make-up and hairstyling, and includes high-resolution digital images. Celebrate your legacy with family, holiday, connection, maternity, newborn, and boudoir sessions.
Portraits are the very core of wedding photography. I love capturing the uniqueness of each couple over the course of their big day, but especially so during the romantics. Seeing newlyweds swoon over each other makes me fall in love with what I do all over again. Couples spend a lot of time on every single detail that comes together on their wedding day.
Around half of my couples opt for an engagement session along with their wedding day coverage. If you're in that group, here are some of my favorite engagement sessions. Many of my couples end up coming back to me for family and portrait photography, maternity sessions, and even newborn photography.

Arpit has taken photos of us close to a half dozen times now, ranging from professional headshots to our wedding photos to "just-for-fun" photo shoots. He is a consummate professional and always produces incredible work.

As a wedding photographer myself I look up to Arpit’s work as a lofty benchmark to reach. He is a master of color. His elegant style rises way above the trends of the hour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. Arpit photographed my wedding very early in his career and eight years later began mentoring me as I started pursuing my own photography career.

Arpit was so great to work with. We had quite an extensive shoot planned--website photography, new headshots, and some family photos, all wrapped into one day. I was a little nervous one or more of my family members wouldn't survive the process. Not only did we have zero meltdowns, he captured beautiful, unique shots for my business and some of the most gorgeous pictures anyone has ever taken of my kids. Arpit is an artist! I would recommend him for any event.

My husband and I aren't naturally comfortable in front of the camera and it was really important that our wedding photographer put us at ease so we captured real true moments on our big day.
Arpit was the perfect fit for us...half the time we barely even realized he was photographing us. He was like a ninja being all stealth like behind the scenes!

I am not sure where to begin in my review! Shooting with Arpit Mehta was such a great experience from top to bottom. My wedding was a very unique, intimate, simple occasion with just my husband and I at the Old Orange County Courthouse. The venue itself is very romantic and boasts beautiful architecture, but that is for another review. :) I was scrambling for a photographer at the last minute, literally a day before the wedding, and I couldn't find a photographer that would be willing to fit my budget, while at the same time be willing to shoot a wedding of such a small magnitude.
