My photography captures children and families the way they really are. I love composing a shot and seeing the spirit of my subject shining right there in front of me. Click. Its a magical experience to be able to capture the essence of a person so it can be shared and treasured in the future. During my 1-2 hour family photo sessions, theres a lot of playing, laughing, running, rolling, and climbing.
Wedding albums are hand made by RedTree albums. These 10 square beauties are are made with flush-mounted pages on gorgeous, thick watercolor paper. I want to make sure that I'm a good match for each bride and groom, so let's get to know each other! I've got an easy sense of humor, a comfortable personality, and I'll help your wedding flow smoothly with lots of laughter.

The photos Althea has taken for us are our greatest mementos. Althea has a real talent for working with children -- she is patient and gentle and kind. She also has a great eye for light. Some of the natural daylight photos have a magical quality that I love. We did a newborn session last year and we just did another session for our son's first birthday. I wish we had been able to do some in between, to capture more of those fleeting stages. Althea has been a great pleasure to work with at every step of the experience!
