I mainly provide photojournalistic coverage of weddings and other events, but have significant experience with editorial, portraits, family, and engagement photography. My father started Ueda Photography in Brazil more than 50 years ago. I grew up immersed in the world of photography as both my parents were professionals in the field. I remember bright lights, classy suits, winding the film of the Hasselblad, and my dad's fun personality. My father would take me to parties, even at the age of five, and instruct me in lighting.
My specialty is wedding photojournalism. I believe that photography should be the last thing my clients think about during their wedding day. I want them to be fully present for each other, their families and friends while I capture the beauty of their relationships and surroundings without getting in their way.
Engaging photography for your holiday party, a conference, a fundraiser, or an incentive program. Perhaps you need photos for a website, marketing, or recruiting sponsors. Because of my extensive experience, I work with little direction to deliver a high-quality collection that you will be able to use for multiple purposes.
There will be no staple backdrops, and you will have a lot of say in how you are portrayed in your headshot. As each person is unique, so should be their environment, expression, and lighting. We'll work together to get images that you will proudly use to show the world, or just your network, who you are.

Romulo is such a joy to work with! I cannot say enough amazing things about his talent, energy, kindness, and easygoing personality. He made me and my husband feel very comfortable and relaxed, and gave us time to be in the moment with each other during photos. Romulo's style is everything we could have wanted in our photos, from the way he uses the lighting and angles to the candid, photojournalistic images. He captured so many lovely moments from the wedding day, especially the small moments that we would've missed or taken for granted. I give him the absolute highest recommendation!

I needed a professional quality headshot and found Romula online. He was quick to respond and his booking tools made finding a time for the shoot easy. Romula was prompt and even set up outdoors to reduce the risk of COVID spread. The results look great, like we were in a studio, and he was super fast with the results. From finding Romula to having final images was a week in total! I definitely recommend him for this service.

Romulo was a pleasure to work with for my surprise engagement photos. Quickly we were able to come up with a plan and he stayed in communication the entire time until the big day. He was also very flexible with taking shots - we had planned a 1 hr. session for a couples shoot but still took a family photo and other shots while our families celebrated us which was very nice. Regarding the shoot, we appreciated his direction and the multitude of shots he took in both color and B/W, different scenery, poses, and other really creative shots through environmental pieces and lighting. Romulo did a more than amazing job on our wedding photos with his unique style! Not only was the quality of photography stellar, but Romulo was so fun and easy to work with. He was also extremely flexible with rescheduling due to Covid (we had to reschedule twice). He also helped us in person (pre-covid) with planning our photography/day-of schedule.
My husband and I aren't always the best at being photographed, but we both genuinely had fun taking photos on our wedding day, and Romulo was really good at directing us and finding good photo ops. He was able to get us sneak-peek photos only 2 days

Romulo was amazing. I could not have asked for a better photographer. He was so professional and flexible. He also captured our wedding day perfectly. We have so many beautiful photos of not just my husband and me, but our wedding party, family, and friends. I would not hesitate to recommend Ueda Photography to anyone getting married!
