I live in Madison, WI with my amazing partner, John and our two sweet, wild, and funny little kiddos. We spend countless hours outside, hiking and playing in the mud. I was a Montessori teacher before my littles were born and I always try to bring a bit of that lens into my work. I've always been fascinated by photography, how it captures a moment, a family legacy, and passes it on.
From the moment we start working together, you will be guided through every step, from helping you know what to wear for your session, to helping you know how to display your amazing photos in your home. Working with Kelly during this session was incredible, we did not stop laughing the entire time! She takes the time to notice and capture little nuances of our family that can be missed in the day-to-day hustle. Video brings Kelly's photography to life in the most magical way. It is something we watch regularly and I cry every single time.
My goal is to provide a custom, unique experience for all of the families attending schools who have chosen me to photograph their students. As a former teacher in a Montessori school and mama, I want picture day to be as easy as possible for the schools, families and kids. Each school will receive a pdf with detailed information to share with their families prior to picture day.

My family and I recently experienced our second photo session with Kelly for my son's first birthday and my 5th anniversary with my husband. Kelly made us feel very comfortable while gently coaching us through poses which made for genuine, natural family portraits. She is fun, smart and has a sharp eye for what's needed to make the picture perfect. Also, she was wonderful and patient with our son!
