Worst experience ever. EMILY's lack of care and NEGLIGENCE COST $100,000 in losses. My partner, Janelle Wheeler, hired Emily in her father's probate matter. Her behavior in the case suggested she didn't know this area of law or she was negligent. The father left 4 things: 1. 100k, a steam of income and the underlying real property interest, and a property in Goldfield Nevada. Janelle hired her because the Estate Attorney Robert Graham had cut off payment of the steam of income she'd been receiving and was trying to force her to sign away her rights to it in exchange

Situation: Son's Dad Gives me 2 weeks notice in Nov 2020 that he is moving across the US and leaving my son. Ok great, but I needed an attorney to help me do paperwork, get child support and figure out travel arrangements as my son was 5. It didn't seem too hard of an issue. This Firm had excellent reviews and I decided to use them over my prior attorney who I paid thousands and knew my case from 2017 in my divorce. Bad Idea.
The Firm essentially is very hands off and passive

Got my custody decree filed ! Even with my ex giving me the hardest of times (of course) Tricia and Astasia kept up with everything and got everything done !
The billing department is also superb ! Calls back in timely manner.
The software they use for communication is very convenient and easy to use !

This firm was amazing! Ashlee and her team were upfront with all expectations and explained the process each step of the way. We got the other parent's rights terminated so that we could do a step parent adoption. This is a long and difficult process, but I felt comfortable and confident the entire time thanks to Ashlee and the entire team. I will definitely recommend this firm.

Mr. Alderman and Maria, his legal assistant worked on my case for four months. I am a nurse and am exposed to the COVID virus every day. They were willing to work with me and meet me if needed through the entire case. When the opposing lawyer said no to all parties meeting face to face, Mr. Alderman said yes. We never did meet in person. Such a strange time right now. His professionalism and dedication to my case could not be matched. Ashlee Vazquez is the best. Very nice and all for doing the right thing. Stay away ! Emily will lye straight to your face. She lies to the courts . I had to hire a whole different law firm to clean up her mess she did with my case. The other law firm was fortunately able to clean up Emily incompetent's work. I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but after seeing every negative review on here Emily dismiss the complaint and blames the client. She needs to start to take responsibility . I wish she would have in my case instead of me having to pay two law firms.

When I first came to Ashlee I had already spoken to a few attorneys but none really instilled much confidence in me. I felt I had a really strong case in the fight for custody of my 6 month old daughter. Ashlee was the only person I had spoken to that I felt truly cared about my case.
