Our company was founded by a true Maui gentleman and continues to be operated by Maui gentlemen of the highest integrity and with a commitment to their clients. Nobu Agena, a former Realtor and school teacher built the company with focus, patience, and determination.
When Nobu was taken in an auto accident in 2000, Al Imamura and Van Waki purchased the company from Nobu's family with a promise to his heirs to continue Shore To Shore's ongoing reputation of honest, prompt, and personalized service.Both Van and Al were raised in Maui. Even back then, Al had worked in real estate for 21 years for another company and Van was involved in real estate on a part-time basis for over 10 years.

Shore to Shore has managed my rental property for over 3 years now and I can honestly say that everything has been such a smooth process. They helped me find my rental unit to purchase, answered any questions I had, found a reliable tenant to rent out my unit and I have been working through them ever since. Everything has been hassle free from my end being that they cover all their bases when it comes to property management. Despite the negative earlier reviews, we have had a very positive experience with Shore to shore. Specifically Shana, Aileen, and Chad. They have been very helpful and understanding with my family's needs. I will stay and trust their opinions for future housing/real estate needs. Rather than many other companies trying to sell/purchase properties at the best price. Shore to shore represents your need and determines if it's in you best to purchase or sell. They do not think about their commissions but rather what works best for their clients. They are not desperate for a profit but prefers

These people were rude, racist, and did not allow us to even APPLY even though we have proof of great credit, good references for years and enough money to pay for an entire years rent up front, only because we are immigrants from Canada. We had to repeatedly ask for the woman at the desk to even talk to a manager, and she only gave us the answer of no because we showed up again after days of no response, even though we left our phone number. Never had a worse experience with a realty company and sad to see that that all the reviews we read were true.

True slumlords. Do not allow shore to shore manager your property or assist you with a purchase or sale of your home. They Don't respond to many contact attempts or even RICO complaints. They do not provide resolutions to issues, such as termites. The brokers, Al and Van could care less about any of their clients or termites. They have been aware of an ongoing termite problem for 3 months and counting but have intentionally chose to not doing anything and allow the infestation to spread.

My family and I applied for a rental through them. We had noticed this place was on the market for a while so we finally applied. Our credit is not too bad and we own a local business here on maui. I faxed in all the information and gave a call the next day to check up on it. The property manager could not have been more rude! He acted like I was a criminal checking in for probation or something. He ultimately said he would review it later and let me know.
