The Red Ox Bar in Appleton is pleased to offer one of the largest selections of wines & spirits in the Valley with over 40 wine selections and over 700 bottles of wine in our inventory. Happy hour is from OPEN - 5pm. We do suspend the appetizer promo occassionaly when our dining rooms are at full capacity and we are on a wait for tables.
Early Dinners are served with soup or salad, potato or vegetable, fresh baked bread & butter. Shrimp & flaked crab over a bed of lettuce with tomato, ripe olives, Cheddar & Mozzarella cheese &seasoned croutonss. 8oz Salmon filet grilled with olive oil & Cajun seasonings served over Romaine lettuce with tomato, ripe & green olives & seasoned bread crumbs.
The Red Ox offers group party rooms perfect for corporate meetings, milestone events and special occasions. We put together some of our most popular menu options for you, but you can always customize a menu for your group. Just give us a call to get creative. Final group counts must be called in 48 hours in advance.

The server was nice. Honestly I wasn’t impressed with the food. I could tell the steak was great quality but it just wasn’t cooked right. After taking it home I added seasoning and searing it properly it tasted great. This just wasn’t worth the money I paid. There are much better supper clubs around.

We dine at the Red Ox for New Year's Eve almost every year and our group has ranged from 11-13 people every single year. This was the first year we were informed they would not accept groups larger than 8 on any holiday, fine. I booked a table for 8 and my mom booked a table for 5. We asked if we could be seated next to one another, or in close range, and we were told that it would not happen because, based on our table sizes, we would be in opposite rooms, fine. My parents (the table of 5) arrived for their dining time at 330pm and was seated in the main dining room at a table that holds 8 people

They let you eat at the bar❤ service is always great with smiles. Been here quite a bit and eaten at every supper club. Always come back here. Food is so good. If you like haddock they have 20 different ways for it. Get ribs with a turkey dinner, Moscow mules. Always great prices and always the go to for us. Love it here

Red Ox Thurs. Dec 30th 5pm Dinner for 6 adults. We were in a smaller room off the entrance and noise was not an issue. Reservations got us seated promptly. Waitress Jessica was excellent! Started with appetizers of Fried Pickles, and Rings & shrooms which were all delicious. Bar service was very timely and we ordered a variety. Jessica kept checking for refills ❤️. The broccoli cheese soup was delicious (had onions in it), French Onion Soup very delicious. Garden salad was a healthy portion with plenty of dressing (next time I will get it on the side). We were in the area for a wedding so decided to find a fun local spot. I had seen this on some chats and figured worth it to check out. We called on our way into town on a Friday afternoon and got a 6 pm reservation with no issue. Got there a few minutes before 6 and were seated almost right away! I wanted to try a few appetizers, but my 2 other party members were not in the mood for either of my choices. Probably a good thing we bypassed as goodness our main meal portions were amazing! I ordered the Haddock 3 ways--I can not rave enough about the one with door county cherries--it was AMAZING!

The ambiance is not dissimilar to a high school cafeteria. There is no music and it's essentially a room full of shouting people. The prime rib was good. The crab cakes were the worst I've ever had, doughy like flour or bread crumbs, obviously wasn't expecting real crab but it was more of a half cooked pancake than any seafood at all. The mashed potatoes were the boxed kind you add water too. Their Cajun style is whatever you order sprinkled with Cajun spices, not blackened as one would expect. The wait staff was attentive and great. I will not return.

Went to the Red Ox in Appleton with my daughter, her fiance, my son and husband for my daughters birthday. The drinks were very good. Old fashioned sweet, sour, with mushrooms, bloody Mary, and Moscow Mule. We were seated promptly at 5:30 with our reservations. We ordered 3 baked french onion soup and 2 salads, all very good, along with the bread. We had 3 king prime rib. 1 with baked potato, 1 with garlic mashed, and 1 with broccoli. All came out perfect. My daughters fiance ordered the tenderloin tips wit broccoli, also very good. I ordered the 10oz prime rib with haddock oscar and twice baked
