We asked to sit in the bar so we could see the football game, bartender served us at the table, was very friendly and attentive.
The prickly pear margarita was a great choice.

We ordered some boneless wings to start which were very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the mild wind sauce had a nice hit without being too spicy.

For our entrees we had 2 chicken sandwiches and a build your own burger.
Burger was asked to be medium and was prepared perfectly.
The crispy chicken sandwiches were really good. I've been really craving a chicken sandwich lately and this one did not disappoint

The hostess/waitstaff was great. Nice atmosphere and seating. The burger itself was very good. The problems stemmed from asking for no pickle on the burger salad yet receiving a salad with pickles all over it, and the parmesan fries were stone cold. Very poor execution from the kitchen. Also, why is there an up charge for the Parmesan fries if they are the same price as the regular fries when you purchase them as a side item. This is a bad and confusing look. We'll probably try something else next time.

Stopped in to enjoy nachos for NachoNovember. I hadn't yet been to Plan B in Southington but enjoy the West Hartford location. We sat at the bar and were able to order quickly. We got the sliders and nachos. The nachos were potato chips with cheese sauce and onions and beans. They were ok. The combination of chips and cheese sauce didn't necessarily work for me. The sliders were very flavorful and the bun was very soft. The fries were ok. Smothered in Parmesan. The meal was average. The restaurant is cute and service was good. I would try it again.

The Burger, Brew & Burbon theme! Been a few times now, good food, good prices & service. The Happy hour is quite nice with a choice of about 6 appetizers ( plus sliders at multiple quantities) at 1/2 price, couple of $3-4 beers on tap & a shot of the Bourbon of the Week at $4. The regular burgers are nicely done, with a variety of toppings. The firecracker cauliflower is excellent and a plateful, shrimp quite good, and excellent sliders. The service has been excellent at Southington, bar, waitstaff and manager all have a how can we help attitude. Haven't been to Sunday HH noon

I went there with my family. The server was not very attentive. I order the blue chips for appetizer with extra jalapeño and then order the classic burger. I got the burgers but never got my blue chips. The whole reason I went there was for the blue chips, but the server disappeared and took so long that I just had the burger. When it was time to pay the server was no where to be found.

Okay so there is @yelpct#nachovember and then there is the way Plan B hosts the Yelp Elite for Nachovember. I'm talking burger pyramids and towers, an entire table stacked to the heavens with nachos and the most glorious cheese pour I've ever seen! What a time to be alive!

But have you just gone to Plan B for football Sunday? Because the drinks and football happy hour options make it one of my top football spots! And this location used to be Bertuccis so that means you can get pizzaaaaaaa!!!

Plan B is a local chain of gourmet burger bars that was founded in July 2006. The chain was founded by business partners Al Gamble and Shawn Skehan. Gamble was "inspired and angered" by an article he'd read in a trade magazine, saying that restaurants would head toward pre-frozen, pre-bagged foods. Gamble and Smehan wanted people to know that there was an alternative to these other ways of doing things. If people were all predicting that's the first choice of Americans, then they wanted to be the 'Plan B'. The duo formed the Locals 8 Restaurant Group and the first

Plan B in West Hartford has been my favorite burger spot for years. We were in the Southington area and decided to stop at this location. The burgers and beer were equally delicious. Service was a bit slow but it is a pretty busy spot so not much to complain about there.
I can never turn down a Plan B burger so I'm sure I'll be back to this location and any other location for that matter.

Last Sunday, I headed over to Plan B in Southington to watch some football and eat some delicious food! As per usual, I did more eating than watching but their beautiful bar area is super stylish and it really is the perfect spot to watch the game!

I ordered their Crispy Chicken Burger with a crispy chicken patty, bacon, lettuce, tomato & chipotle ranch on a toasted sesame bun and it was SO heavenly, crispy and satisfying! If you're looking for the perfect spot to eat great food and watch some football, look no further than Plan B in Southington!

I was obsessed with Plan B in Fairfield and was really sad when they closed. Came here with a friend for lunch, and our cocktails were amazing!!!! We shared a bunch of appetizers which never disappoint. The nachos are one of my favorite dishes from anywhere, highly recommend. The southern sliders and baked jalapeño poppers are also so good.

Came in for a late lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. Nice selections to choose from and as usual, I had too many things I wanted to try. I went for the burger salad. The burgers here are really good and do not need anything to enhance the flavor but it also worked well in this dish. It was a very good dish. They have 14 taps available and a big selection of adult beverages which is part of their branding. This place has a good amount of seating in case you have a large number of people going with you. Everyone was polite and it was worth the stop. They also have some events running

Saw this amazing looking bar-b-a joint one day and had to go! Love their motto, burgers, bourbon, and beer! Can't get any more American than that! I WILL BE BACK to this amazing place! Prices are a little steep but you definitely get what you pay for here! Staff was extremely friendly! Our waitress came and had a refill of a drink before asking, she was extremely nice and bubbly personality! All around an amazing place to go for a few drinks and some amazing bbq! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Not to mention their decor is fu**ing awesome!

Plan b was a great spot for drinks, apps, and a lunch, especially during these covid times.

To start, the parking lot is free, ample, and private. Parking is not an issue.

Once you walk in, they have all of the standard covid precautions in place. Masks, spacing, plastic dividers, etc. All good here.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Drinks stayed full, food came out quickly, and the waiter was helpful in making suggestions.

Drinks: I had an old fashioned. They make them in a "pre-prohibition" manner which means no fruit (per their menu). I am used to having a cherry

I like the location of the restaurant (nice view) and the atmosphere. Burgers were tasty and juicy, good fries. The service was fast (off-peak time) our waitress was friendly. Cons: the host wasn’t friendly or accommodating, and they weren’t selling alcohol due to a license issue.
Edit
The next times we visited the service was great. I hope they can reopen soon.

Prices are great as portions are huge. Loved the bacon and cheese burger, super tasty! Meat was medium rare just the way it should be. Fries were ok. Service is fast, friendly. Menu is varied, they offer fish and chips, salads, mac & cheese, and different appetizers. Really close to the National Gallery area. Venue is cozy, not too loud, good ambience. Definitely a great place to grab a burger.

Love b Penn Quarter. The food is always good and the people are even better. Our last trip was for Bourbon Month first friday. The menu was paired with bourbon suggestions and some bourbon infusion. The staff was polite and engaging. There were even a couple bourbon vendors on site with some decent swag. We will be back. Thanks!

We were looking for a restaurant nearby. We used Google and other users. We weren’t disappointed. A great choice, including for children. Burgers are not out of reach. Small eaters will find their happiness, great eaters too. The ingredients are fresh and very tasty. The salads are delicious, the burgers can be customized. The reception is very warm and the employees reactive. The proof is, we stayed two days on Washington, we ate there two days in a row

I don’t know why I never noticed this place before. It’s right next to Chopt at the archives metro stop. I just had a drink, the Kentucky lemonade, which was good. Everyone said the burgers were great. Took off a star for the poor service. When I asked where my party was sitting I was just kind of waved in a direction like “go figure it out.” I was meeting a new group of people so I had no idea who to look for. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with the large party but did her best. Seems like a cool place. I would come back.

This was our second visit to b on Penn Quarter and this visit was perfect. Don't want to dwell too much about our first visit a few months back and why I didn't post a review. Let's just say that the service on our first visit left much to be desired but the manager made sure that we come back for a second try and we did.
The food was delicious and service was wonderful. We had someone in our party with multiple food allergies and restrictions and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the kitchen's capability and they accommodated her food restrictions perfectly.

I came here for brunch with my friends. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the chicken and waffle, which was great. The fried chicken was good and it included a breast and a leg. The waffle was absolutely delicious, one of the best waffles I have ever had. I had the three mini cheeseburgers as an appetizer and they were very good. Everyone who ordered burgers, including my friend who had a delicious-looking vegetarian burger, enjoyed them greatly. b DC Penn Quarter stands up to its reputation there. Really, this is one of my favorite places I have been to in recent memory.

The food here was great in general but burgers were not quite as good as I expected having read the rave reviews. Service was actually very friendly, but I was disappointed they didn’t have the whole patio area open, given how nice the afternoon weather was (and we had to eat inside or wait 30 mins for a table in patio). Beer selection was really good, but it took too long for my beer to arrive - actually arrived after our meals.

A great dinner experience at an incredibly unique place that kept us constantly busy noticing all the odd and surprising decor!
Here's the rub: The staff is fantastic, the location is easily accessible. The prices are extremely fair, and the food was absolutely delicious. I tend to get a simple plain burger when visiting a new location, and my goodness the quality of the meat at this price point was incredible. Get a quality side, like the sweet potato fries, and you are set.
NOW... let's talk about the decor, and what decor it is! Vintage shelves filled with nick-knacks, brick walls, wood walls
