Our owner, Brett Gioe, started his first auto repair business in 1994, and established Zoom Tech in 2003 to provide Mandeville and the surrounding communities with an honest and reliable auto repair shop.

Zoom Tech Automotive is a Louisiana Certified Public Motor Vehicle Inspection Station, offering one or two year brake tags. All you need to do is drive up Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am till 4:30 pm. You will need your license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. One year brake tag cost is $10, and a two year brake tag is $20.
Unless your vehicle requires premium gasoline, filling up your car with high-octane gas is a waste of money. The premium gas doesn't boost your gas mileage or performance. If you're not sure what grade works best for your vehicle, your owner's manual will tell you. You can also ask your mechanic what grade to use.

At an oil change, Brett informed me that my Toyota was burning oil and that there was a "quiet" recall on the car. That is where Toyota won't inform the carowner that there is a problem; but it's up to the carowner to discover the problem and force Toyota to fix it.
Well, thanks to Brett Toyota installed a brand new engine in my car after 53,000 miles! At no cost of course.

We just moved to Mandeville and I'm very particular about who touches my cars. I expected a superior experience here based on reviews but came away a bit underwhelmed. Firstly, I asked to have an O2 sensor replaced that had been driving a check engine light to illuminate. Despite bringing an exact replacement part, the shop told me that they couldn't extract the sensor and that the Denso replacement wasn't correct on my Japanese sports car which is in exemplary condition. So they ordered a more expensive Bosch. Afterwards, I re-verified with O'Reilly's that the sensor I had originally bought was

Heard great things about this place on Facebook , so when my car was giving me trouble I brought it in for a diagnostic. They found that the problem was a tire sensor that needed to be replaced and they were able to diagnose and repair all within 48 hours. They even had someone give me a ride home so I wouldn't have to be there all day. Now my car is back to normal and doesn't seem to have any issues.

I went in for a diagnostic only and was supposed to receive my vehicle back within a few hours but they ended up keeping it overnight and I didn't get it back until afternoon the next day which was an inconvenience. The price I was told for the diagnostic would be $99 but I was charged $108+to get the exact same diagnosis I told them was the problem which other mechanics had already diagnosed. And lastly it was by far the highest estimate I received 05 for a transmission rebuild. Just very impressed with the service here. They tell you honestly what everything will cost in detail and brake down labor vs part cost.
