Great service, awesome people & honest! My car was out of warranty by 800 miles so they pretty much had the job of replacing my transmission. However, instead of taking the transmission job they called and worked with the auto dealer to get it covered! They didn't have to go out of their way to help me but they did!

Steve Fank, Sr., a mechanic with over 40 years of hands-on auto repair experience, and his wife Vicki opened Jefferson Auto Service North in Covington in September of 2009. Steve has been working on cars since he was 15 years old, and owning and running an auto repair shop is a lifelong dream. A true non-corporate mechanic, Steve had always worked for independent and family-owned auto repair shops, happy to offer drivers a dealership alternative.
Our ASE certified auto repair technicians have the experience, skill, and up-to-date equipment to properly maintain and repair all foreign and domestic cars and trucks, diesel vehicles, motorhomes, and fleet vehicles. We are a totally independent auto repair shop, which means we answer only to ourselves and our customers when handling repairs.

I'm very happy with my experience at Jefferson Auto Service North and won't hesitate to use their services in the future. The staff was friendly and professional at every step. This was my first time getting my car repaired at Jefferson, at the suggestion of the tow truck driver. They were very pleasant to work with and were able to quickly fix the problem with my car. Hopefully I won't need their help again, but if so,, I'll definately be back.

Jefferson Auto Services-North, from the very first call I made to them, I spoke to the sweetest but very professional lady. Her name is Alexis and she is on point. She had efficiently gotten my info and had my car in the back within 15 minutes. Then their are the guys in the back who work on your car. I was helped by a mechanic by the name of Mr Eric, who was personable very easy to communicate with and who explained everything that needed to be known about the issue I was their for. Not to mention the fact that I spoke to him outside not knowing that's who would be taking care of my vehicle and

Jefferson Auto Service was recommended to me by a client. I had a breakdown in Covington. Arrived at Jefferson without an appointment after lunch on friday afternoon. I explained that I was an hour or more from home and I needed to finish my route. The whole crew Alexis, Mr Bill, Roy and a couple of other guys all worked together to complete a pretty extensive front end repair and get me back on the road .

My sons car was towed to them on a Friday after getting bad gas. I received a call after the car got to them telling me what they were going to do and that I’d get a call back in the next hour letting me know what they found. Got the call back, was told the car would be ready Monday or Tuesday, which was great, because I planned for at least a week. Steve called Monday before 1pm to let me know my sons car was running good and ready for pick up. Highly recommend them. Hoping I don’t have any more issues any time soon, But if I do-they’ll get my business.

They were vary quick about getting my car repair on such short notice. The repairs done to my car was so great that my vehicle now drives better than when I bought it off the lot. Love this auto shop and definitely recommend coming here for any vehicle repairs.

What an amazing group of people. I showed up without an appointment, I was helped immediately. They diagnosed my issues asap quoted me a great price and had my car ready to go the next business day. I'm here from out of state on business and did not know anyone to reference, and I cannot say enough how lucky I was to come across such a genuine caring respectable group of professionals. Bought a 2021 Chevy 2500HD with a 3" lift and over sized 37" tires. It was pulling hard to the right and I was about to make a 1200 mile round trip in it. It was hard enough to find a shop that would put this vehicle on an alignment rack after the dealership tried 3 times to align it. I called around and right off the bat, Jefferson Auto said to bring it in and they would take care of it. They spent 20 minutes on it and it has been straight as an arrow since. I will be going back when I have any issues.
