Absolute gem in the heart of downtown STP. I've come here many times for work and personal, by myself and with friends, and it has always been a great time. They have a great happy hour drink selection that goes well with their fabulous charcuterie. No seriously they may have the best charcuterie in Florida and/or the southeast US. They source the best ingredients and it shows. The grilled octopus was to die for! Definitely got to visit here when they reopen!

I don't think there is a better place to eat on Beach Drive than Annata. Their charcuterie game has always been on point, and their small plates and flatbreads always make a great supplement. I also really love that they have a vegetable version of the charcuterie plate available too. And if you go on Sundays, bottle is wine under $100 are half off. The staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. They're also very welcoming to dogs, which we love. Just a laid back spot that has a little something for everyone and their chef is incredibly talented. One of the spots in St. Pete that

Quiet little place for a super romantic wine and cheese date night! Located upstairs, it's nice to be off the street with so many people out on the weekends walking by. The wine bottle selection was amazing but not as fabulous as our server. Out of this world with wine knowledge and was on top of it. Loved it here so much!

We tried here for our anniversary. It was out of our comfort zone but so thankful we stepped out into this lovely place. First off we tip our hats to Libby. Our server was flawless from start to finish. She never left us dry in our cups nor let our table fill up with dishes. Libby was helpful in understanding the menu and making suggestions. We started with the sea salt and herb focaccia and ricotta spread. The bread was prepared perfect while the ricotta was unbelievably smooth. The presentation was beautiful.

I enjoyed the food and the service. Unfortunately my boyfriend got sick soon after leaving the restaurant. Not sure if it was the food or something else, but not sure if I will return.

Absolutely phenomenal food. 10/10 would recommend getting the sacchetti (pear pasta). It was divine!! We ate so many things, but some of the most notable were the truffle cheese, pear pasta, and dates (called Devil on Horseback). The olive oil cake was very good as well. It wasn't too heavy and the strawberries and pistachio complemented the taste very well. Definitely come here for a nice date night!!

It actually pains me to write this review. But, I think we need to start talking about how Annata being run by St. Pete’s new power couple (who bought Annata, Alto Mare, and 400 Beach) just maybe does not seem to be managing this Beach Avenue gem as well as the Mazzaro group used to.
We have been to Annata dozens of times, and even after moving away for brief stint for several months this past year…there was only ONE place we could think of going upon our return to St. Pete on our first night back.
Since then, we have had poor experiences at BOTH Alto Mare and Annata.

Upscale environment but not stuffy. We got a bottle of the Mosse Bisou which was a red blend that was almost like a cab/rosé hybrid. It was super refreshing on one of those classic Florida hot and humid evenings. We paired the bottle with a 5 choice charcuterie plate that came not only with our choices of meats and cheeses, but a host of other things to pick at like almonds, olives and gherkins. Attentive service and great food/drinks makes Anatta an awesome date night spot!

We had an exceptional time at Annata. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and xhecked on us frequently. I advised her of my dietary restrictions and it was no problem. The creamery cheese for the charcuterie was soft and served cold and was delicious! The scallops at Market price were an appetizer which I had for my main course and was perfectly cooked, more than enough food, and well seasoned. The roast pork was also perfect and a good amount (filling) for my husband. I enjoyed the prosecco as well. The tuna tartar was just ok,, I think we could have passed on that one since without the soy

Such a nice place!!! They specialize in Pasta and Charcuterie boards that are delicious. Pick your cheeses and meats and they add the fillers and jams. We enjoyed our light dinner and Rose'.

Arrived at 4 for reservations outside. Our waitress came by to take our order so we ordered apps and a charcuterie board meanwhile next to us was a delightful waiter with dark hair giving the best service and telling his table about special dinners from the kitchen...huh?.. We didn't get that run down. I can promise you we would have ordered dinner instead of the cheese board. Oh well too late. Hence 3 stars for nice waitress but poor service. Hunny next time sell and we will buy!

We went there after visiting the local museum and almost left after the almost rude hostess told us she could seat us but had to have the table back at 7pm. It was 4:15pm and I don’t typically spend more than 2 hours at a bar even when eating so this was just a weird way to start off. (It could have been put in such a nicer way).
The waiter was great any his trainee was attentive and helpful. We had the cheese and meat board with selections picked by our waiter and it was very good.
The gnocchi pasta and the fig flatbread (seemed to missing something) were far from flavorful so not sure we

I first visited Annata over the summer. At that time, my husband and I were looking for good wine and apps to share. This place exceeded our expectations then and still does.

We visited again during a long weekend getaway. This time we went for a full dinner experience. We started off the meal with a bottle of wine that was suggested to us by the server when the one we originally wanted had just sold out. Her recommendation was perfect. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their selections as well.

For apps, we started off with feta stuffed sweet peppers and a charcuterie board. It was all amazing

Excellent little date spot on Beach Drive in St Pete! Sophisticated and classy with nice ambiance overall. I dined here with a party of 5 on a Saturday evening and we had made a reservation about a week prior (they were booked for later dinner hours so make sure you call if you're planning in advance).

Our waiter, Angel, was absolutely phenomenal and offered great suggestions overall. Despite being a busy night, he checked on our table regularly and did not make us feel rushed at all. We ordered a few bottles of wine and he was genuine in giving his opinions of each up front.

UPDATE 1/6/2021 I'm sad that I have to update my review for Annata because it's one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, the family that owned Mazzaro's sold this chain off to some New Yorkers and things are already worse. Now, they take reservations which may sound like a good thing but it's not. We arrived at 5:10 one night and asked to sit outside when we were told that every outside table had been reserved already. The thing was only two tables were currently occupied. We ended up sitting in the corner and we saw one of the managers he knew where he told us about the

Best charcuterie board I've ever had! They give you abundance of delicious things and it's a lot of fun try to experiment with different combination of food. They have a great selection of wine. You can park in the parking garage or meter parking right by the water. Really cute place for a date night.

What happened ????? Definitely under new ownership. The tuna tartar says seaweed salad, avocado and tuna. It used to be so fresh and was our go to place for dining downtown. Publix sushi would be a 10 compared to this. Don’t come here. I definitely won’t be back. Annata is not what it used to be!

Back in February and before quarantine days, I was able to visit Annata for the first time. It was a Friday night when I sat by the bar and was immediately greeted by the bartender. He happily gave me an intro on their wines and menu. I was happy to see that they have an extensive selection on wine. I was able to purchase different wines from different regions by the glass, which made it more fun for me.

I enjoyed a nice Bordeaux from France, a beautiful blend from Sonoma Valley and a deep Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley and a excellent Bordeaux blend from the beautiful Alexander Valley.

One of the best places we love to hang out with great wine and great food. I love having their charcuterie and then go to Mazzaro's to find some items so that we can enjoy them at home too ;-) Their pasta dishes are amazing so as many other dishes. It's very relaxing and fun place to be on any evening of the week.

So have heard a lot about this place and it has taken me way too long to try it. I decided to go check it out on Fathers Day go figure. We had no wait which was nice. Our waiter knew the menu and was very helpful.

We planned on just drinking and getting a wine and cheese plate but we also added the mussels. Needless to say the cheese plate was great and the chianti we had was amazing. The mussels were delicious and had a very nice rich wine and cheese sauce to accompany.

I really like the view of the water and the park. This is a great spot for the food but if you can get a table outside

This is such a comfortable place, inside or out. The wine selection is fun and the foods are small and large plates for sharing. We started with the pick 3 charcuterie. You can get more but your selection comes with a small meal of condiments!
Then our favorite, the mussels. Sometimes we take the broth home for a meal with a loaf of French bread. This time there wasn't much left!
We tried the tuna stacker which was refreshing, on a base of rice with fresh tuna, tomatoes, avocados and more.
We had a side of the polenta with jalapeños and cheese. Our server, kelly was terrific and the restaurant

A delightful all round great experience.

Annata does not take reservations so you have to grab a table when you can. We went on a Tuesday at 6:30pm and it was packed, had about a 15 minute wait. All the other restaurants in that area weren't half as full.

The charcuterie was off the chain! They have an amazing selection of cheese and meats, but don't be fooled, the board comes with extra goodies :) #nomnomnom
The risotto and beef tartar (I forgot what's it's actually called) was refreshing and flavorful.

For a place that full the service was on point. Everything came out

Wow, I am sad to say the quality of the food here has just gone down. We'd been coming here for the last two years and always have enjoyed every aspect of it. The food, the wine, our favorite bartender Sarah...but this last visit was super disappointing with regards to the food.

We got a fabulous bottle of aged red wine that screamed charcuterie. We chose the prosciutto. It was essentially cheap prosciutto that you'd get from Publix or Shop Rite. Really disappointed. We know Mazzaros has the good stuff, why not sell it even with an up charge.

The pasta bolognese was very good
