Smiles on the Canal is a Pediatric and Family Dentistry clinic which was founded in 1991. Founded in 1991, we are a thriving family dental practice located in beautiful Fairport, New York on the iconic Erie Canal. We have both a Pediatric Dentist and a General Dentist on staff. We are able to serve your entire family, including toddlers, children, teenagers and adults, and we have treated multiple generations of families in our dental practice throughout the past several decades.
We understand that making the decision which dentist to choose for your family is an important one. Our dental office in Fairport, NY has been providing high quality dental care for generations of families since 1991. Our general dentist, Dr. Abner De los Santos, and our team of dental hygienists, provide well-rounded dental care for our adult patients.
Ideally, a restoration (fixing a tooth) for a child should leave the tooth strong and free of pain. Compromised, or less-than-ideal, treatments often result in failure of the restoration, leading to additional cost, time and inconvenience for a family. Smiles Dental is AMAZING! I have brought my six-month-old for a fused tooth and my two-year-old for a cleaning. They couldn’t have been more accommodating, including giving me a room to change their diapers. My two-year-old loved to get her teeth cleaned because they made it a fun experience. Highly recommend Smiles for any young children!!

My kids and I had a wonderful experience here. The office is beautiful and well-maintained. Every staff member we interacted with was great. All 3 of my children were new patients and scheduled for the same day, about an hour apart with different hygienists. Each hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We had anticipated being there a good portion of the day. To our surprise, the kids were pulled in one-by-one, back to back and we were out of there sooner than expected. Very pleased with Smiles on the Canal! I have already recommended this office to a few people!

I love this place. I found this place because I had to take my two toddlers to the dentist and after seeing how they treat their patients I switched dentist myself. Had my first visit today and had to bring my three girls ( 3 months old, 18 months old and a 4 year old). The staff was very friendly and one of the ladies even held by baby so I could finish getting my teeth clean. I felt very welcome and happy being there. Thank you
