I visited Rye Street Tavern for brunch yesterday and I loved it! I had their huevos rancheros and it was amazing!!! I also loved their hunny glazed buns. We sat outside (which was beautiful), they do a great job of keeping guests socially distanced from each other. The staff were all very friendly, the food was great, and the location is beautiful. I definitely recommend you visit!

I've visited the street tavern several times since moving to Baltimore and have had very positive experiences every time! Located in port Covington, you will have to drive/uber but the view and experience is worth it. There is plenty of free parking.
The atmosphere both outside and inside are amazing. Right on the water, the outdoor seating provides a great view of the south harbor. Inside, the wooded, tavern feel is sleek yet cozy.
Staff are super professional and friendly. The menu is great - lots of small apps make it a great place for drinks and snacks with friends. Then the entree selection

I am so thankful that I ordered my thanksgiving dinner from Rye Street Tavern this year. I've never been able to visit + eat on-site, so they were first on my list to get our goodies from. Let me tell you, the sides were tasty. We ordered the mashed potatoes, collard greens, and the Brussels sprouts. Now I added some more acidity to my greens, but for the most part, it was definitely 5-star quality. The package also came with their salad, their speciality cornbread, Sagamore-spiked gravy, and their cranberry sauce that had a pinch of orange to it! It also came with their apple pie! Wow, when

Another fantastic evening at Rye Street Tavern!
Covid safety - all of the tables are spaced far apart, there is no concern at all for the patrons next to you being too close. They offer outdoor seating along the water in a heated tent. We came on Wednesday evening and they even had live music. All of the menus are QR code's on the table. They do offer paper menus if you need.
All of the food is delicious, skipping ahead, my favorite item to eat here always is the ice cream! The portions sizes are small but it's worth every penny!

We went for a date night a few weeks ago. The seating at the time was in a very large tent on the lawn was very adequately space between tables. All staff was in masks and attention to detail was made in order to keep distance to the extent possible. Water his place on the tables and guess where to refill their glasses from a pitcher.
We tried the cerviche, several vegetable dishes, and a main. The dishes that stand out the most, are the ceviche and the vegetables. In particular the mushrooms had a really nice smoky flavor to them and were very meaty. The meal was good, however nothing in particular

We just dined here for the first time and it was delightful!! We are from Philadelphia and consequently have no shortage of delicious food options around us and yet this place impressed us! The outside dining was spacious and we both felt safe and spread out. The food was incredible. Flavorful and rich without being overbearing. We had the burrata to start and the trout and catfish as entrees with carrots as a side.Everything was fantastic! We finished with the pumpkin pie which was not too sweet but definitely felt like a dessert. Our waitress was attentive and all of the food came out quickly

Great meal and safety precautions! Went for a celebration and they asked what we were celebrating and were very nice and on top of things. We ordered the burrata and broccoli and whitefish dip as appetizers-both were great but I have to say the burrata was my favorite with the crusty bread. The complimentary corn bread was delicious as well! We did order oysters that never came, but we didn't say anything as we were both getting full after the 2 apps and cornbread.
For dinner we had the fried chicken (so good and crispy and moist) which came with amazing biscuits and then the burger which

Rye Street Tavern feels like a special treat every time we go - which is becoming more and more frequent! I could speak to their really well done interiors but - given that outdoor seating is 'all the rage' (ha) right now, I'll focus on the outside: They have a HUGE lawn area outside of the restaurant and their whiskey distillery with patio tables, clusters of Adirondack lawn chairs, and (now!) a giant, two-sided wedding/event tent to extend their nightly outdoor seating - all of which is waterfront. They even have a little golfing platform (with biodegradable golf balls!) if you

Let me tell you in advance, this review is about to be a whole mood swing! As I was planning my birthday events for this year, I knew ahead to be careful due to Covid. I chose this place because my husband and I attempted to visit twice before without reservations and were unable to be seated. My interest was sparked !!
I have been hearing people rave about the food and atmosphere here for sometime so I was dying to visit. What really convinced to me to come was one of my good friends visited 2 weeks prior and bragged about the outdoor seating, I was sold!

Came here with friends on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We were seated, along with most others, in the outdoor plastic sided tent. It's the time of Covid, so it is what it is. Staff were friendly but we were a party of 8 and without saying anything to our group seated us at two tables of 4 with tables so far apart it was ridiculous. We convinced them to move the tables 6ft apart. Obviously Covid related, but we should have been told upfront this would be the setup. We would have made other plans because we were 2 parties of 4 and it was impossible to enjoy anyone not at your table. Aside from

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Rye Street Tavern this evening. It's tucked away in the middle of nowhere before the Hanover Street Bridge, but the ambience and landscaping are beautiful. It's right on the water. Anyway, great service. I wish I could recall our servers name. We had 8:45 reservations and were seated promptly. Proper protocols were enforced, including masks and social distancing. As fall approaches, the weather is becoming more chilly so we opted for indoor seating. I ordered the Blackened Catfish, which was DELICIOUS. I literally scraped the plate. Tasty, seasoned

This was the perfect evening out! Let's start with the food.. YUMMY IN MY TUMMY! The outdoor atmosphere was so serene and quiet on the water. Our server was attentive and accommodating. Of all the times I've been here this was by far my best dining experience. I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe and food!

What a lovely spot. they created a calm, wonderful ambiance by the water, where you feel removed from the city. during pandemic era, they have set up a very sturdy tent with appropriate and almost plentiful seating to enjoy a nice meal outdoors. good shade during the meal. also, it appears that if it rains, you are very well protected.
the food. oh, the food is just amazing! so thoughtfully made and plated. the flavors are great! their biscuits are exceptionally buttery and flaky. their fried chicken is seasoned wonderfully. i had their blue crab avocado toast and it was piled high with crab

If you ever want to tease the best southern fried chicken you’ve ever had in your life, come here. You will get half a chicken and I promise you will not be able to finish half of it. This is our second time here and I ordered the same thing because it is so delicious. The ambience is great and the drinks are dangerously yummy.

The restaurant is well decorated with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is both friendly and attentive. For the most part, pricing is fair, even the cocktails- considering the excellent work by the bar staff. Even when drinks off menu were ordered, some brilliant concoctions came out.
The food, particularly the chicken liver mousse and friend chicken dishes are fantastic. The only negative is the bread served with the chicken tends to come out cool instead of warm. Personal detractor - the pickles are closer to bread and butter than dill.
Dessert was fairly good, the homemade ice cream is well

Yo that fried chicken is amazing. So crunchy. No grease. It's absolutely amazing.
Cocktails were awesome. Had a custom whiskey sour and white lady. Both came out fantastic. The earl grey G&T was good but needed to take the tea bag out early.
The not great. Biscuits and dessert (Apple pie) was not warm or hot or anything near what I had expected. The toasted coconut dessert was to sweet.
But the chicken is Fantastic. Also service was great.

Came here for their happy hour aka "social hour" with a few coworkers on a business trip during the whole polar vortex situation. We ordered mainly off the happy hour menu and also got their weekday crab special, the crab stuffed deviled eggs on Tuesday and it's my favorite dish from what we ordered.
The drinks from the HH menu was good and I thought it was a good deal for $6 each, but sadly they don't have that much of a selection on their HH menu.
Other things we ordered that were notable was the steamed mussels, ceviche and oysters. We also ordered the shishito peppers

My husband surprised me with dinner reservations to Rye Street and told me he thought I'd love it - he's been there for lunch with coworkers a few times.
Well, Rye Street was a big letdown. For both of us. Admittedly, the decor is spot on. Very cool vibe, love the wood and industrial look and it's a great casual feel.
But, we choose restaurants to enjoy the food. Crazy, I know. The food here was just not good.
I went out on a limb and tried the Tall Drink of Water, for $15, I was hoping it would knock my socks off. Nope. My husband said, "Are you sure you want

Even though they had a power outage in the kitchen the night we went this place still gets five stars.
From the moment we parked I could tell this place was going to be great. The outside is beautiful all around, with the distillery being the focal point with the huge glass windows.
The inside the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. Just a very comfortable place to eat and have a drink.
Our bartender was beyond friendly and also very knowledgeable. He took the time to talk to us when he could, answered any questions and made some great recommendations.

The food, ambiance, and service was just amazing! I came here on a work trip with colleagues for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. The Happy Hour menu was not that extensive but still had enough options to choose from.
We came to Baltimore when they had the whole Polar Vortex where it was snowing and freezing everything so the restaurant was dead with a few tables here and there filled up. It was nice that they had actual fire place going and the service was impeccable.
If you're a fan of deviled eggs, you must try the Crab Deviled Eggs. If they weren't so expensive, I would

First time visiting this restaurant and it is excellent! The restaurant did on the water. We will definitely come back during daylight hours, but the night time view was awesome. The decor and atmosphere inside is a casual elegance. The service was incredible. The food was excellent as well. We had a great dinner with friends at a great venue. My wife and I look forward to returning. We recommend the 'Juicy Lucy' burger and the bacon wrapped trout. The peach cobbler for dessert is very good as well.

Fun, innovative restaurant in Port Covington. Had a very enjoyable Sunday evening dinner with 5 adults and 3 kids. They have a nice variety of unique cocktails. We started off with the Black Eyed Rye and Razz Club cocktails. The Razz Club was a refreshing blend of Sagamore Spirit Rye, raspberry liquor and lemon. It was so good I had two! For appetizers we enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, butter lettuce salad with green goddess dressing and beet salad. For entrees we had the seafood bake, mixed grill and hanger steak. All were delicious and amazing. All in all, a great restaurant!
